They just left the city, and Alice turned in her monster form, then she looked at Marco and said.

Alice: Why did you bought a sword?

Marco stopped in his steps and opened his mouth, but then he closed it before saying anything and some seconds later he said.

Marco: ...I sincerely don't know… I thought about using that to use the techniques you taught me… But…

Alice: So you just threw money away… I think you got it that you can't achieve coexistence by killing.

Marco: Yeah…

Alice sighed and took a sword out of nowhere and gave it to Marco.

Alice: Use this one, at least you will not risk to heavily injure the other monsters with your Nine Tailed Gates.

Marco grabbed the sword and observed it, he frowned and threw away the sword with a disgusted look.

Marco: What the hell?! 'Was Angel Halo so ugly?!'

Alice: Angel Halo… The only sword of its kind in the world, it's very valuable. Use this one from now on...

Marco: Yeah… Angel Halo my ass! This is the Antichrist…

The sword was around the size of a normal sword, it seemed that someone tortured several angels in miniature in a pole, and painted it grey, there were mangled wings and limbs everywhere and the blade wasn't even visible, it had a crimson eye with green irises near the tip of the sword.

Then Marco slowly walked towards the sword that he previously thrown, and picked it up. The moment he touched the sword again it moaned, making Marco flinch from the sudden sound.

Marco: The fuck was that?!

Alice: Relax, it is made from 666 melted angels, so there may be some residual grudge…

Marco: ...I don't like Illias, but whoever made this thing really hates her… So… What does it do since you told me to use this?

Alice: It seals monsters by releasing their dark energy in the atmosphere.

Marco just nodded, he seemed distracted from something else which only he could hear.

Suddenly, Angel Halo pulsed, attracting Marco and Alice's attention, the sword continued to pulse fast until it seemed alive and immediately covered Marco's arm, scaring both him and Alice.

Marco: WHAT THE HELL?!

Alice slithered away while Angel Halo was covering Marco's body, he tried to struggle but it was useless, soon the Angel Halo completely covered Marco's body, and it started to evaporate, leaving Marco who was hugging his body while crying.

It seems that the experience of being vored from a weapon traumatized him, meanwhile, from far away, Alice noticed that Angel Halo disappeared and warily slithered back, noticing a frightened Marco. He tried to stand up, but he got in his knees and puked.

She had dark short hair and only from her head to her chest was human, the rest of her body was that of a giant earthworm covered in mucus.

Earthworm Girl: Oh? A traveler? Can you let me wring some semen from you?

Marco didn't answered and just used the 'Start', he was covered in a thin layer of red aura while his appearance changed a bit, then he gritted his teeth and stopped trembling.

After that, he immediately rushed towards the monster girl and tried to use Demon Decapitation with his claws, it was almost successful except for the different sensation he got from it.

The Earthworm Girl didn't reacted fast enough and her neck had a big cut, from which black miasma came out.

Earthworm Girl: What the… What did you do? From my wound… My power is draining…

Then Marco pierced her with his other claw and made an hole in her chest, more black miasma came out from it and she started to glow and vanishes, but if one would look closer they would noticed a natural-size earthworm wriggling in the ground.

Marco lowered his head and observed the earthworm that was entering inside the earth in defeat, then Alice came out from her hiding spot and said with a surprised tone.

Alice: It seems you can use Angel Halo's powers… That is really strange… Maybe it's because it entered your body.

Marco: Don't make me remember it…

Then his layer of red aura disappeared and his features turned human once again.

Marco: Well, we will go at the mountain range to hunt for the bandits then we will get to Happiness Village, if everything will be ok then we can do everything in less than 3 days.

Alice nodded and followed Marco towards the mountain range at west.

[Later]

After a few hours, they reached the base of the mountains. But Marco made a big error… He didn't asked Amira about the bandits' position, he clearly knew who were the bandits…

4 monster kids, a Goblin, a Lamia, a Vampire and a Dragon, all of them didn't even reached 10 years.

Marco: Why am I so dumb…?

Alice: This huge mountain range will take forever to search, what are you going to do?

Marco: ...Why not?

Alice raised an eyebrow at his sudden remark, and seen Marco kneeling in the ground and taking something strange from his backpack, it was a big skewer, and on it there was a big chunk of meat.

Alice started salivating a bit, but she was stopped from Marco.

Marco: Wait some time… It will be worth.

Alice was curious about what he would do and waited, he put the skewer over a fire he made and cooked it, slowly the big chunk of meat was cooked and Marco took out two slices of bread, then he used a kitchen knife to cut the meat in little slices, which fell in the bread.

Alice couldn't keep her saliva in her mouth and was overflowing from the sight in front of her, she sniffed it and couldn't help to gulp.

Then Marco put on the bread some vegetables and different homemade sauces, then he gave the kebab to Alice, who looked at it with curiosity, she took out a bite and her eyes widened while her entire body trembled.

Alice: T-This… What is this?!

Marco: This is Kebab, one of the best foods I tasted, after pizza and McDonald's food.

Alice wanted to comment about how delicious it was, until they heard some footsteps which were really near, Alice disappeared with the Kebab while Marco sighed.

Marco: 'The plan worked'

Marco made a Kebab for them for two reasons, the first was because he was hungry while the second was to attract the target from the smell.

From the bushes a light dark skinned kid with one horn in her forehead and a viking's costume appeared, she wielded an hammer which had an handle longer than her own height, and looked heavy.

This was one of the 4 bandits, the Goblin Girl.

Goblin Girl: Wah! Good smell…

She walked over the spot where Alice was and slipped over something, falling in the ground.

Goblin Girl: Ouch!

Marco raised an eyebrow at the sudden gesture, and looked at where she slipped, noticing a transparent liquid where Alice once was, he walked towards it and put a finger on it, before smelling.

Marco was surprised from the result.

Marco: 'She… She came from eating a Kebab… I just made Alice foodgasm, literally…'

Marco remembered what he was doing and cleaned his finger by swinging his hand around, then he used 'Start' to boost himself and binded the Goblin Girl, who tried to struggle, unsuccessfully.

Goblin Girl: L-Let me go!! Otherwise I will call the other 3 bandits here!

Marco: Nope, now tell me where are the bandits, so I can deal with them.

Goblin Girl: I will not say anything!! They are already in danger! We don't need another problem!

Marco raised an eyebrow at the unexpected words.

Marco: In danger? What happened?

Goblin Girl: ...Me and the other 3 were just playing around, when a strange monster entered the cave… She was a mix of some animals and attacked us at the first sight… I was the only one to escape while the others are trapped in the cave…

Marco: 'A strange monster attacking other monsters… A chimera?! Already?!'

Marco let the Goblin Girl go and said while using the 1st Gate.

Marco: Lead me the way…

The Goblin Girl had a serious expression and guided Marco, while Alice watched from afar.

Some minutes later they reached a cave, Marco and the Goblin Girl had a serious expression while Alice was curious and spectated from a certain distance, when Marco made a step forward, he instinctively crouched down, and over him a snake passed with an open mouth, as if trying to eat him.

Marco had cold sweat from almost dying and he and the Goblin Girl backed away from the cave, from it something big came out, it was indeed a strange monster.

The Monster had the usual woman's parts, which were visible only chest, shoulder and head, instead of arms she had scythes similar to a mantis.

While her lower body was the one of a giant horse with a second mouth that started from the woman's chest to the lower part of the horse body, from it two glowing orbs were visible.

It was probably the snake that almost got Marco, Alice frowned from the sight, never encountering something like that, while Marco panicked and the Goblin Girl was trembling under the Chimera's empty gaze.

Chimera: Food… Kill…

Then the Chimera raised her scythe and brought it down to Marco, who used his tail to block the hit, but the tail was effortlessly cut and the scythe pierced Marco's shoulder, giving him a serious injury.

Alice and Marco were surprised from the strength of the chimera, who raised her other scythe to cut down Marco, he dodged the attack which almost hit him, and rolled in the floor before standing up and taking deep breaths while the wound was regenerating.

Marco: What the hell was that strength?!

Then Marco used the 2nd Gate and his second tail appeared.
