Paul raised again his katana while Marco pushed another palm towards Paul, and a pillar of earth flung Paul away, meanwhile Granberia and the Queen Elf watched with surprise what happened.

Granberia: Wha… What hap-

Marco: Granberia, why the hell did you take him?!

Granberia: Oh, I made him my pupil.

Marco turned around with a shocked face, and said.

Marco: ...HOW DID YOU EVEN HEALED HIM!?! I LITERALLY MADE A HOLE IN HIS CHEST!!!!

Granberia: Wait, you were the one who killed his party?

Granberia asked with a surprised tone.

Marco: Self-defence! It was in self-defence! And answer the question!

Granberia: …*Sigh* He has the blood of an undead.

Marco: ...Damned Plot Armor… It seems I need to finish the job…

Marco used Sylph's powers to move away from the group, and towards Paul, when he got far enough that Granberia would not sense him, he used the Chakra Gate.

Granberia watched Marco leaving towards her pupil, she knew that Marco wanted to kill him, but even if she teached Paul, she didn't want to help, if Paul wins, then she would side with Paul, if Marco wins, then she would side with Marco.

An explosion resounded far away from them, Sara and Granberia turned around to see a giant pillar of fire rising from the border of the island, some instants later, a barrier of wind slammed on them and anything behind them, Granberia stood on her place with an arm in front of her.

But Sara was flung against a tree, and fell in the ground with a big pain in her back.

Granberia: What was that…? 'Hah… Marco, if that was you, then I will be happy to fight against you… I'll wait to the Monster Lord's castle.'

Then Granberia summoned her magic, about to vanish, when…

Sara: Wait, Granberia!

She ignored the pain on her back and jumped at Granberia, grabbing hold of her armor.

Marco was rushing with the Chakra Gate towards where Paul should be, before his instincts told him to lower himself, which he did, before several trees were cut down.

Marco turned towards the culprit, and found Paul with a pale skin and dead eyes.

Paul: I trained day and night just to kill you, I'll not let this opportunity go away!

Marco clicked his tongue and used all 4 his spirits…

Then he shot towards Paul like an arrow and punched him, however Paul just used the handle of his sword to move Marco's hand away, surprising him for a moment.

Marco: 'Serene mind… He learned Serene Mind…'

However he didn't finished there, when Paul used the momentum he acquired to strike him down, a chakra arm appeared from Marco's side and threw a palm attack at Paul's chest, flinging him some meters away.

Somehow, Paul didn't seemed that hurt from his attack, so other than undead blood, he took a strong monster's blood, and there was only one type of blood that could coincide with these characteristics…

Marco: 'Zombie Dragon…'

Marco stood on the ground, and observed Paul, meanwhile Paul just swung his sword , he was obviously far from hitting Marco with his range, but Marco knew about what he was doing…

He lowered his head and a slash came past his head, this was the Blade of Still Water, a technique Luka would learn when he learned Serene Mind.

It was capable of reaching a range it shouldn't be possible to reach without Serene Mind. However Paul wasn't the only one who is able to reach a far range with an attack…

Marco commanded Gnome to create a spike from the ground, which she did, but Paul jumped, avoiding it, Marco raised his arm and the spike of stone got longer, almost reaching Paul.

*Ding*

*Plot Armor activated.*

Dragon wings appeared at Paul's back, and flew away from the spike, before looking down on Marco.

Marco started to getting pissed off, before he started to use Kurama Gate again, he didn't want to lose the entire day here, and surely Paul got stronger than before.

Paul narrowed his eyes at Marco's sudden change, and flew down to Marco, ready to slice him.

Paul: It's finished!

Marco stood with his arms crossed, and when Paul was near enough, Marco's figure flickered for a moment, before he already threw a heavy uppercut on his chin, raising Paul's shocked head.

He didn't even see Marco moving, it was impossible for him to see Marco once he used Sylph's powers and Kurama Gate without holding back, not even if he trained for decades…

Paul was stunned with his head facing upwards, and if one observed his neck, one could see that the skin and muscles are ruined from avoiding that Paul's head flew away, blood was coming out from his mouth, and his eyes were wide open.

Marco disappeared again, and reappeared over Paul, ready to throw another punch downwards.

Paul was unable to block the hit that surpassed his Serene Mind, cancelling it, and got punched in the face at full strength, Gnome's powers and Semi-Berserk were still active, and the punch broke Paul's neck, inserting a part of his skull inside his chest.

Technically he should be dead, but Marco wanted to be safe, so, while he was still in air, he pointed his palm downwards and charged another Fire style: Bijuudama.

It flew down, and when it touched Paul's dead body, it created a giant pillar of fire, and since Marco was immune to fire, he was safe.

When the pillar of fire vanished, an enormous crater was under Marco, and in the center of the crater there were two things, the first thing was Paul's left foot, while the other thing was his katana.

Marco slowly fell in the crater and walked near the two things.

Marco: 'System, is he dead?'

Marco: 'No, I mean that his body doesn't exist anymore.'

Marco was a bit happy, if the System gave this option now and not before, it means that Paul will not return back anymore, permanently dead, and said.

Then he could feel something entering his body, and suddenly felt his willpower increasing a bit, even if it was still far from reaching the Bijuu Gate, apparently he knew he would be a bit near that level when he can use Serene Mind to enter the Bijuu Gate, but since he still can't, it means that he was still far away from that level.

After sighing in relief from finishing the job here, he picked up the katana, he never thought about using a weapon because it would be hard for him not killing monsters with weapons not enchanted…
