Marco looked around with a smile, missing the place he left months ago. The place looked like a classic village from any anime or manga in a medieval era, the path was made with pieces of stones and cut off grass, people were working around, etc…
Then one of the women who were working on drying the clothes coincidentally turned towards Marco, and waved her hand while smiling, as if she was really familiar with him.
?: Hey Marco! You turned back!
Marco: ...Huh?
?: C'mon brat, you forgot about your aunty?
Marco: No, no, it's not that… Who are you? I don't remember meeting you.
The woman frowned and walked to Marco, then she put her hands on his shoulder and asked.
?: You really don't remember? I'm your Aunt, Sarah. You always helped me when your mother was working somewhere else.
Marco: ...No, never seen you before, and before you tell me that I have Amnesia, I don't. I know who I am, and I know about my past too, and you weren't part of it.
The woman, Sarah, stood up and sized up Marco, before letting out a sigh and walked away, Marco just watched everything with a poker face, but inside he was dumbfounded.
Marco: 'So… The poster wasn't the third party's plan to capture me here…? ...I really misunderstood everything.'
Soon, Sarah came back with a woman that looked a bit like him, she had long brown hair tied up in a ponytail, she was wearing a simple blue dress and a blue hat, and her eyes were blood red, and her skin was strangely pale.
?: M-Marco?! Is that you?!
The woman stuttered when she saw Marco, but his answer confused her.
Marco: Yes and no, I am Marco, but not the one you thought you were talking about.
?: What are you talking about? Don't you recognize your own mother?
Marco: I recognize her, but she isn't you, I think this is just a huge misunderstanding, maybe you got me for someone else with my same name and looks, but the fact is that I am not your son.
The woman, which gave him a bad feeling, started to get impatient and grabbed his wrist.
?: Don't joke around like that! I am really worried for you and you tell me that you aren't my son?!
Then the woman raised her other arm and tried to slap Marco, however Marco grabbed her wrist and stopped her hand, that was what he thought he would do if somehow her strength was really great, and slapped his cheek.
Marco fell in the ground with his butt and touched his burning cheek, meanwhile the woman looked at her hand, which trembled, and started to shed tears.
?: I-I'm sorry… Son…
Marco: Woman! Can you understand that I am NOT your son?! I never seen you, my mother is already dead, like my father, and I am not born here! I came here just because I seen a poster with my face on it, and I thought that there was something wrong with it.
?: ...Huh?
Marco: I don't know you, this is the first time I came in this village, I just came back from Illiasport, What other fucking proof you want to know that I am not your damn son!? Who knows, maybe he is still out somewhere or he's dead, I don't give a flying fuck! But I am not your son!
?: W-What? Y-Y-You aren't my son?
She was surprised, she thought that Marco was angry with her so he acted as if he didn't knew her, but the more she listened, the more she thought that it was just a big misunderstanding.
Marco: No, and now that I understood the situation too, I will leave immediately.
Marco stood up and tried to get away, he started to suspect the woman that thinks she was his mother, Marco couldn't feel a lie on her words, but the feeling she gave was just wrong…
Pale skin, red eyes, hat to protect her from sunlight…
Marco: '...A vampire…?'
Marco was surprised from the thought, and decided to get away from the village, unlike the one from his own world, this Illias Village isn't connected with him, there weren't the friends he made after the illness' disaster.
?: Wait a moment, please… At least I hope you can accept my apologies for the inconvenience I caused you with a cup of tea.
Marco just turned around, and looked on her eyes, before saying.
Marco: No.
?: Wh
Marco: Vampire.
He only murmured those words, the people around him couldn't hear the word, but the woman's hearing was stronger than normal, and her eyes widened, she froze on her spot.
This confirmed his suspicions, if she didn't hear him, then Marco would think that the woman had just a really weak constitution. The woman's eyes narrowed, and asked.
?: How do you know?
Sarah, who was still there, was confused from the woman's words, but she just shrugged and turned back to her work.
Marco: I will not say anything, just leave me alone or I will end you if you try something against me.
?: ...Alright.
Marco turned around and started to walk away, however… Suddenly the woman started to turn to ashes, and started to scream in fear.
?: W-WHAT IS HAPPENING?! KYAAAAA!!!
Her body turned into in ashes and flew away, everyone was shocked from this, but they would forget it soon when the shadow of another being stood over their heads, everyone raised their heads and let fall everything they had in their hands.
Because on the sky, there was Eden in her angelic form.
Villagers: It's an angel! / Quickly! Kneel down! / Oh! Mighty angel! / I wonder why she would come here…
Eden looked proud while looking around, she didn't received this type of sight because she was almost always in the Heaven, however even if she was seen from everyone, she lowered her Holy Energy output to not be noticed from Illias.
Then Eden's gaze met with Marco's, and let out a smile.
However Marco wasn't having a good time, his eyes were wide open in shock, while his muscles were unable to even move, he couldn't even tremble when looking at her.
She was the second strongest enemy angel after Illias, so the only method he has to beat her is to go in Kurama Gate, however he was unable to do it unless he uses Serene Mind, which showed signs of slowing down on the duration's increase.
And even with Kurama Gate, he would have some difficulties to beat her, there weren't many living people that could kill her, he was even able to count them on his fingers, which were Illias, Micaela, Black Alice with the genes of the 1st Alice, Tamamo, and him if he goes in Kurama Gate.
Eden: Well, well, well… Finally I found you alone…
She was referring to the absence of Alice, even if she didn't thought that she was inside Marco right now, and he was really glad that he thought about this idea, he wanted to put Alice on his mindscape because she couldn't walk with him in Illias Village, because she still emitted dark energy and Illias would sense her.
And then he thought that a weak angel would take him back to his world, and when she finished the job, he would kill her with the enchantment he got from Angel Halo, dispersing her holy powers.
But if it is Eden, it's another story… She was even free to **** him, and Alice could give her at least a big scar before dying.
If she takes him to the Illias of his world, it's finished… She would do something like force him to follow her orders, and then slay Alice for real if she finds out about her being inside him.
And he knew that her impression of him was not one of the best ones when you possess something that is able to block her from entering his mind.
Marco gulped a mouthful of saliva while Eden slowly descended and lifted his chin, looking at each other's eyes.
Eden: Did you know how hard this job was? Making me wait so long before you would separate from the woman… Now you will come with me.
She extended her arm to a random direction, and a golden magic circle came out, in 5 seconds, the magic circle was completed and it opened a hole in the air, Eden grabbed Marco's wrist and entered the hole together with him, before closing the hole behind her.
In the hole, everything was black except for the end of the way, which was glowing with sunlight.
Eden: Boy, you are lucky that my mistress Illias has a really high opinion of you, and a good heart to help you return home.
Marco stood silent, he didn't want to say anything to avoid making a wrong step, then finally they came out from the tunnel-like path, and Marco found himself back to the beach he came to pick up the Silver Orb from the Northern Sea Queen.
Eden: Well then, I will bid you bye. And remember that if you stay on the Goddess Illias' side, you will receive a great reward when you come to the heaven after your death.
After those words, Eden vanished, leaving Marco alone.

Marco took a deep breath, before he heard the last message.
Marco: Heh… This is the first time I failed a quest…
Alice: What are you talking about?
Her voice came out from his mind, and he just replied.
Marco: 'Don't worry about it, we turned back to our world now, you can come out.'
Alice: Huh? We are already there?
Then Marco's chest glowed, and dark orbs came out, before taking the shape of Alice.
She opened her eyes and looked around, finding herself in the beach near the Northern Sea Temple.
