"Naruto!" Sasuke called out.

"What is it?" Naruto turned around to answer.

"You told me not to take part in the battle once the Akatsuki is involved right?" Sasuke asked.

"Then, when you battled against the man using explosives, why did you act so friendly towards him?"

"It looked like you were having fun during the competition," Sasuke said.

"He killed Gaara who was the Fifth Kazekage, which will be about three years from now!" Naruto said.

"He killed Gaara?"

"Then how did Gaara take part in that Fourth Ninja war?" Sasuke asked.

"Gaara was revived by an old lady; her name was Chiyo, the Honorable grandmother and elder of the sand village."

"She also participated in that battle today!" Naruto said.

"That old woman?"

"She revived Gaara?" Sasuke asked.

"Yes, in exchange for her life!" Naruto said as he continued to move forward…

"But how did you become friends with that guy who used explosives?" Sasuke asked.

"He loves art! though he calls explosions as art for some reason…"

"I am good at using techniques that cause a lot of destruction."

"So, I thought, why not use that to get along with him."

"As you know, no village is capable of standing up to Akatsuki."

"They may be able to stand up to the forces on the surface, but with Obito, Madara, and Nagato in play, especially your brother also, I am not sure what will happen!"

"No one can take the risk of facing the Akatsuki until they completely unveil themselves on their own terms."

"Because, even if the villages were to get information of the power of all the members in Akatsuki and their weapons, without proof or sufficient threat, the villages would just treat this information as a joke."

"Not only that, but there is a man named Aô amongst their ranks, who has a Byakugan as well!" Naruto said.

"Byakugan has fallen into some other people's hand?"

"How's that possible?" Sasuke asked.

"There's a long story behind that!"

"It's not only these three villages.."

"The hidden sand was close to betrayal, but I can't blame them after all their daimyō still had problems trying to recover the economy and military might of the village after the Fourth Ninja world war ended."

"But like I said, with so much going in between each village, there is no way these villages could look past these problems to see that Akatsuki is a huge threat that none of them are capable of eliminating!"

"I can handle all the front members all by myself, but with those three (Obito, Nagato, and Madara) at the back, its impossible at this point!" Naruto concluded.

"You told me there was a war for tailed beasts right?" Sasuke asked.

"Yes!" Naruto answered.

"You are also a carrier for one of the tailed beasts, the nine tailed beast right!" Sasuke asked.

"Can I see it?" Sasuke asked.

"Ah!"

"That's right!"

"I haven't shown you my power before…" Naruto said as he unleashed his Nine tails chakra cloak.

Sasuke had already taken a glimpse of this form before.

"Wait!"

"There's more!" Naruto said.

("Kurama!") Naruto signaled Kurama who was inside.

"Let's do it!" Kurama said as he poured out his chakra.

Karin huffed and puffed as she hauled Hinata who was leaning on her shoulders, into the Hyūga Clan compound.

"Onee-chan!" Hanabi ran towards Karin who was holding Hinata.

"Hinatsama!" Kô ran towards the group from within the building…

"What happened?" Hanabi asked.

"N-Nothing!"

"I think she fainted from exhausting her chakra a bit at the training today…." Karin tried to play it safe, not ratting out Konohamaru, in order to save Naruto from any trouble…

Hanabi opened her Byakugan eyes.

"Sister's Chakra seems to be fine…" She murmured.

("Yikes!") Karin knew she messed up, totally forgetting about the Byakugan ability…

"Hehe!"

"Maybe, she was just a bit tired, that's all!" Karin said.

"She doesn't look tired to me," Kô interjected.

("Will it kill you just to accept that she fainted?") Karin glared at Kô.

Hinata coughed out.

"Onee-chan!" Hanabi called out.

"Hnabi" Hinata spoke in a week voice, following which she stood up and looked around.

"What happened?" Hanabi asked.

"N-Nothing!" Hinata shrieked, following which she looked towards Karin.

"Would you like to come in?" Hinata asked.

"It's all right!"

"We have five days off."

"I'll come during one of those days!" Karin said, following which she turned to leave.

"Thank you for bringing my sister!" Hanabi bowed towards Karin, following which, Kô also bowed towards her.

"Mm!" Karin accepted the bow following which she walked towards the exit.

On a pathway surrounded by trees a few metres away from the Hyūga Clan...

(Whoosh!)

Konohamaru landed on the ground

"Honorable Grandson!" Ebisu-sensei called out upon seeing Konohamaru.

("Damn it!") Konohamaru cursed his misfortune.

Hah! Konohamaru executed a technique.

"You…" Ebisu was really angry, but Konohamaru was the grandson of the third Hokage after all, as such Ebisu was in a helpless position against Konohamaru.

"Naruto…," Ebisu spoke these words with great difficulty, but the next words were essential to get through to Konohamaru…

"Chasing after girls, at this young age."

"I as your teacher cannot overlook your actions as mere child play…" Ebisu said in a firm voice.

"Fine, then don't look!" Konohamaru retorted.

"…." Ebisu-sensei was speechless.

("I'm going to make sure that the third Hokage gives him a good dose of scolding!") Ebisu thought as he turned once more towards Konohamaru.

"Honorable Grandson!"

"Isn't becoming Hokage, much more important to you?"

"You must diligently practice your skills every day.."

"It will be your shortcut to becoming a Hokage!" Ebisu declared.

"There are no short-cuts to becoming a Hokage!"

"If you want to become a Hokage, you must earn your way through!" Konohamaru spoke with a confident look.

"My current goal right now is to defeat that girl first!"

"One by one I shall defeat people who are powerful than me."

"Then One day, me and Boss will fight for the title of Hokage!"

"I shall defeat him fair and square!"

Konohamaru declared his intention towards Ebisu.

Ebisu stared speechless at Konohamaru's dream.

("That Fox kid becoming Hokage?")

("Impossible!") Ebisu declared in his mind.

"Tomorrow, I will ask that girl out."

"If she says no, then I will fight her for it."

"If I defeat her, she will have to go out with me!" Konohamaru assumed the appearance of a knight in shining armor.

("This kid is going to provoke a huge disaster.")

("That girl is the young mistress of the Hyūga clan. There is no way they are going to let this slide by…") Ebisu thought while feeling his brain would cave in from the pressure that he was handling as the caretaker of Konohamaru.
