The curtains were pulled to the side, and the windows were opened up.

Sunlight shone in the room through the window, illuminating it.

“What did you choose me for?” Delilah asked Roy.

Sunstruck, her crimson eyes shone more brightly than usual.

They were like a pair of enchanting rubies.

One look at them, and you would feel hooked.

Roy didn't know when he started looking into her eyes like a dumbstruck fool, but he couldn't break eye contact with her.

“I choose you as my playmate.” Roy innocently smiled at her as he not-so-innocently lifted up her fair and tender chin and rubbed her plump, kissable lips with his thumb.

He forgot about blessing her. He knew that he had an hour or maybe even less of free time left; the only thought remaining in his mind was to fool around with her and use this god-given chance to get what she had promised to him back on the road to the icy, cold realm.

“Play? If this is how you want to play with me, I am not interested.” Delilah said coldly, but it would have sounded more convincing if her face and neck weren't flushed red like her slightly pointy ears.
