Maya blinked her eyes at him in confusion. "Hear what?"

"Never mind, maybe I am hearing things." Aydin waved his hand, dismissing this matter.

"Let's go back before they find we are missing from the manor and get suspicious of us." Maya grabbed his hand and pulled him into the Manor. He let himself be dragged away by her. He was the elder brother, but she was stronger than him. The only thing going for him was that he was smarter.

"How we get treated will determine whether they are good or bad. Before that, our stance towards him and his associates should remain neutral. Don't even let them know we can talk until we are certain we can trust them." Aydin was demanding this from Maya.

As he was the sole reason she had survived so long, she complied with his wishes. "Okay."

His misty self seeped into his room through the window and shape-shifted back into his human form.

Amelia was dusting the mirror when his reflection appeared on it, and she turned to him, exclaiming, "Wow! Master, how did you pop out of thin air?"

"Yeah," Amelia proudly accepted his compliment. "Why you ask?"

Roy replied, "Take care of our new kids."

Hearing his words, Amelia imagined that they had been married for years, and he was asking her to be a responsible mother to their children.

With such thoughts swirling in her mind, Amelia's face heated up so much that it turned red like a steamed crab.

She certainly was imagining something unbelievable. That's what Roy found out from her continuously changing facial expressions. Did she just go haywire?

"What's wrong?" Roy saw her flushed face and wondered what caused it. "Are you feverish?"

"No, it's nothing. I'm fine." Amelia stepped away from him and thumped away her head a few times to clear the dirty thoughts in her mind.
