Chapter 3: Northern Plains

*22nd Dimension: Outer Northern Plains

Hades Pirate Group HQ

The Hades Pirate Group were one of the great forces that intimidate the entire 22nd dimension. They roam around the 22nd Dimension in search for money, they were known for being notorious and enslaving any kind of races and then sell them for a high price.

On a balcony where a person could see stars clearly, there can be found a strange formed being. Grey smokes that seems to be alive as a single eye floated within the grey smoke, if an ordinary human being were to see it then they would be horrified as this would be their first time seeing it. If one were to look closer to it, you can see the name of it

[Song Qiyu, Level 70]

"Leader, I found a rare species!" A huge hologram suddenly appeared from within his vision as a dwarf was then revealed in the hologram and hurriedly informed their leader. Above its head, a label was also be seen from it.

[Khailin, Level 35]

"Oh really? Show me to it" Its big round eyes suddenly move, as its red eyes hinted that it is interested

Their leader, Song Qiyu is infamous for his misdeeds, many races despise him yet fear him. Because his race was really invulnerable, any kind of physical and magical attacks don't work on his body.

"Roger that!" The dwarf excitedly nodded. Its small hand couldn't help but tremble as it scan the strange creatures on his cage.

After the scan, Song Qiyu immediately was overjoyed when he saw a beautiful creature, it looks like a human being but rather the differences are it light pinkish skin and its long, gem-like hair that seems like a crystalized ruby and its astounding ruby-like eyes. Its graceful bearing couldn't be washed off by its rag clothes that she's wearing.

[Bheca Asylum, Level 10]

"Perfect! A rare species of gem races! She can be sold for millions of quartzites! She will be a good slave!" His one eye brightened in delight as he saw the woman.

The woman from the Gem Races couldn't help but tremble in fear when she saw the infamous Song Qiyu. Of all the person she least want to meet was Song Qiyu, who was known for his infamous slave trafficking and doing everything for money.

And now, she became one of his tool for money. If she didn't ran away from home and got caught by a slave driver, she wouldn't be here and now all that she could wait was her doom and prayed that her new master would be nicer to her but she knew that it was impossible as most of Song Qiyu's client were also ruthless species.

"Eh? What's that?" Song Qiyu pointed out to the screen as there was another cage with a living species in it but he can't seem to recognize it, of all the races that he had seen it, this is the first one that he had encounter it and it seems to be unconscious. It four limbs that were like the work of a god, possessing the perfect body but it only possessed the lowest level that all races had.

[Yu Han, Level 1]

Khailin smiled forcefully that made his small face looked ugly and vicious "Leader, I don't know if I should tell you this but I found it in the middle of the Northern Plains, it has lost consciousness and possessed Level 1, although, I don't know how it survived in the center of the vicious Northern Plains but looking at its level, I thought that we could sell it for money"

"But what kind of race is that? It looks like someone from the Devils and Angels but except it don't have one of their best known traits and just look like them.... Although he looks just like those two arrogant races but as long as it doesn't have wings or horns then it would be okay to sell it. I bet it would fetch a rather good pricing as it looked like those two races." He went into a deep thought before considering to put it on sale. But on second thought, its still better to take it as slaves.

"There are still someone else that might be put on a good sale..." Khailin couldn't help but spoke up as his eyes lit up in excitement

"Oh? What is it?" His words caught his interest as he asked. He knew that the dwarf never let him down

"Its an egg. I don't what kind of egg it is but all I know that its Level 50. Leader, if you can make it hatch. You will become the most powerful individual in the whole 22nd Dimension!" Khailin said with a hint of worship

Song Qiyu was also pleased too but he did not let the future get ahead of him as he rationally nodded as he saw the egg that Khailin mentioned.

An egg that is over 1 meter tall and half a meter wide appeared within the hologram. Its glossy surface gives off a strange luster and make someone a deep impression of majesty and mystique elegance

[???, Level 50]

Song Qiyu's eyes lit up with bright radiance when he saw "Good! Bring that egg to HQ, you will be rewarded for this contribution"

Khailin's small eyes flashed with greedy light but he had already hid it very quickly.

"Ugh..."

The sound of groan escape from the lips of the unknown entity, whose body were like a carve from the gods and whose name Yu Han.

"I'm still alive? How come I'm still alive?" A strange language escape from its lips that strangely, no one can understand. It didn't exist from any kind of languages that exist throughout the entire 22nd Dimension!

No one could understand his words and even someone right besides him looked at him as if he were a foreign person.

Yu Han noticed something on his wrist, alarmed when he found out that he was handicapped!

Yu Han immediately forgotten on how he was still alive and instead became alert on his surroundings. Gathering information just by looking with his stern eyes, and he find himself in a trance, no matter what he look, everything is new to him, looking at his situation, everything was crucial.

"Blurb. Blurb. Blurb" He was startled when he heard something, he looked besides him and he was given a fright when he saw, a human-like figure that had been curiously looking at him as its empty eye sockets stared at him.

W-What the...?

What kind of creature is this?!

Its skin was smooth, almost unbelievable that it looked like a metal shaped as a human being. Is it a failed human experiment? He was not sure, even if he wanted to calm down it would be a hard task

"Blurb. Blurb. Blurb. Blurb" No matter how strange it is, he knew that the creature tried to talk to him, the problem is..... He don't know how to communicate with it

He had finally absorb the information but he had lost his calm. What on earth happened when he was knockout?

"Blurb. Blurb." He find it strange, the human-like creature still made noises that seems to be talking to him, but he can't understand!

Above the strange creatures head was a tag, although it is encrypted and the language is strange to him but somehow, he could read it

[ Jack, Level 10 ]

What..?

Is this some sort of VR?

He is puzzled by the strange situation. Virtual Reality is no longer strange to him, he had lived a world filled with advance technologies, virtual reality games are common, he had played many times before in his youth so, he find it amusing when he saw the name above.

He found it rather amusing yet suspicious. Did he traverse to an another galaxy where Virtual Worlds became reality?

He mused to himself as he was trying to his blind guess his strange situation and he guess it almost correctly because he did not travel to a new galaxy but by a completely whole level!

Something that he did not dare imagine, not only did he was not dead but he also traverse to another dimension, a dimension that is completely different from his birth home! A complete different universe! Somewhere he can never to return to his home!

Although, he was flexed by the situation but gathering information was still the most basic things that he should collect. The problem is...

He is considered illiterate in this world, he can't understand the most basic languages and can't even converse with an another person, how is he supposedly gather information?!

But instead of worrying this, he decided to try out his luck but then he became dumbstruck, his face reddened slightly when found out that he was naked and his little imp has been out in the clothes. Because of the space crack turbulence had torn his clothes into pieces, he had nothing to cover to his private part, without question, he immediately covered his little imp.

He felt relieved that no one had seen it otherwise, he would have dug himself in embarrassment! Wait-!

It seems that he had forgotten something-!

"Blurb blurb..?"

He almost forgot about the strange humanoid monster right by his side and he almost ignore it! Since he was captivated and can't move, he better start by collecting information from the humanoid monster by his side but the problem is to how to converse with the humanoid monster considering that he hadn't learn any of their languages.

As for him, being scared?

Pffft!

It would be great if he didn't start shouting profanities. Being scared is already an overkill.

He was surprised but not frightened. Seeing it even tried to converse him with its blurbing sound and he did not find it hostile, if it is indeed a hostile creature, he wouldn't survive even if he gave all his might. He was restricted and can't use his full strength, if the humanoid tried to kill him, he wouldn't be able to resist!

The humanoid creature was quite sensitive, sensing that Yu Han didn't want to talk; it also went quiet too

An hour without talking made Jack, the one that Yu Han called humanoid monster, strange creature feel uncomfortable. He can see the strange humanoid whose body were like being personally carved by the gods, that despite being unconscious, it is still handsomely perfect, he almost felt jealous compared to his constitution. But seeing the level being level 1, he changed his mind.

Being at level 1 is being weak. What is the use of being a handsome creature when you are so tiny and weak?

But even so, Jack was a talkative person even with the scary appearance that frighten any human to death, just looking at its eyes that were hollow as the dark abyss but you can feel that they are staring at you.

"Blurb. Blurb?" He suddenly said as if asking, how did you get here?

But Yu Han is simply illiterate and ignorant but he did tried to communicate with it by writing on the floor prison full of dust finding that there is simply no place to write, helpless, he could only write on the floor
