Chapter 2: Black Hands

"Battle Commander Han?" The Marshall  saluted back, too. Although the Marshall is confused by his sudden call but he can see the distress in Yu Han's eyes

Marshall Mo could see his lips move but no sound came out, like it was 15th Battle Commander pranking him again!

"Huh? What did you just say? I can't make any words, are you playing with me?" He asked in an annoyed tone but then his expression changed when the connection was cut off

Yu Han became confused as he hurriedly ordered the A.I. to contact headquarters again but then, moments later, the A.I. wasn't responding...

Did it malfunctioned at a time like this, again? Why now!

"A.I.? A.I.!!" Yu Han felt that the universe wanted him to die!

First, he stepped into the wormhole without his knowledge, so he could only go forward. Second, it is his A.I. malfunctioning. Third, he's going to be dead if he came back alive, Marshall Mo is going to skin him alive!

He couldn't help but sigh at his predicament. He then began to personally pilot the ship, although, he usually rely on A.I. to drive the ship but back then when he was a student of a military academy, piloting the ship was one of his course and needed for him to graduate and he excel doing it

Going on with a speed of light, he managed keep the thing in his control as he calmly steer his spaceship with outstanding control, space turbulence often happened in a wormhole so he had to pay attention in every single details

And so far to what he expected, the wormhole was still calm and shows no signs of crumbling and he can also guess that he wouldn't wander off too far towards his destination and he hope that the wormhole stays that way, he couldn't come back to where he came from nor he could steer off the path as the space turbulence would torn him apart!

Like a wise man says; it is only the calm before the storm.

An hour later, he notice something was amiss, he just had the guts that was telling him because of danger, this kind intuition helps him avoid life-threatening things that could threaten his life.

Following his intuition, he immediately speed up faster than the speed of light as the energy consumption also skyrocket and in a matter of a second, 1% of the energy reservoir were consumed. He didn't bother to conserve any more energy and used up more than 10% of the energy reservoir but he still felt insecure at the distance that he covered even though he had travelled millions of light years away!

And as he expected, an hour later, the space began to crumble as the wormhole trembles, the space turbulence were getting much more eminent that made the spaceship flight unstable, the space cracks made his spaceships defense system unable to escape from the destructive power of the space cracks!

The spaceship lose its mobility!

His vision were filled with red warnings as he can feel a huge suction force that he even had difficulty of standing on one foot as he can feel a strong attraction force that was pulling him backward.

As the humanity's knowledge about space began to expand, they found out that the black hole isn't as terrible as they thought it would be as there are rather things that are much more terrible than a black hole!

And that is a space crack!

The most formidable thing on the universe is the space. They hold the foothold of the universe, once there is a crack within the space, it would turn into a void that would suck everything to fill it up again!

Even a black hole with an insane gravity and mass may not be necessarily to be able to survive under such a terrible suction force!

His little spaceship is nowhere as close to the quality of a massive black hole, if even black hole have a hard time escaping the suction of the void between the torn space, what would happen to his measly small spaceship?

In a blink of an eye, he was getting closer to the space cracks!

He broke out a sweat as he can feel that death was knocking on his door. He is only trying to obey the orders of his superior but how did he end up in such a tragedy?

First, it is the wormhole. Second, his A.I. malfunctioned and then, a space crack appears within the wormhole!

The moment he would be sucked into the space cracks, he would immediately be expell from the universe! Never be able to return again!

Great! Just GREAT!

If he had a choice, he wouldn't want to accept the mission again!

The energy of the spaceship finally ran out of power as all that he could see was black that is adding to the dread that he was feeling. He can hear the screen began to crack of the might of the pulling force began to increase.

He was having a hard time breathing, is this how's he going to die? What a miserable death.

Ha....!

Ha....!

He gasped for more air as his eyesight began to blurry. He fall down to the spaceship's floor as he could faintly see his ship's being torn apart. He smiled bitterly as he thought that he would never see his missing best brother again.

He is just a pawn for their Elite Yu Family, his father died when he was three, for a whole 17 years of his lifespan, he had been maltreated and been bullied for countless of times and then he became a Battle Commander of the 15th squad of the Skyhawk Federation's Special Force with his best buddy, Su Mubai

But 5 years later, his best friend Su Mubai disappeared without a trace and he was assigned to find him only find himself in a predicament and he is going to die.

He slowly closed his eyes as he loses consciousness. He had already his fate that today, he is going to die. He had regretted that he did not bid farewell to his squad and left them alone, he's gonna be sorry for his mother that her only son left and died in the middle of a mission

He should have bid farewell to them...

Right after Yu Han began to lose consciousness. His spaceship has already began to crumble as pieces and the rest of the spaceship's part were suck within the space crack expelling it from the universe, forever lost and can never be recovered.  And it also included Yu Han!

His unconscious body continue to drift away from his universe and his body continue to break down but then a purple hue started to surround his body and protected it from any harm

The Zheal Crystal!

The Zheal Crystal that mankind absorb to change their DNA structure protected his body. When absorbing one hundred Zheal Crystal, not only mankind can have one special ability, it also protect its host from space without air and prevented the body from any kind of sickness or illness and even from harm!

But all the Zheal Crystals could do was to protect its host for a short amount of time before it starts to fade away, Yu Han would inevitably die.

But then another crack in the space opened up and a gigantic black arm suddenly appeared between the crack on the space, it was so huge that even a planet is simply to small for it to fit, the hand was extremely terrifying and often emit dark energy and its sharp claws contains extreme sharpness that could even tore the space!

Suddenly, it stopped moving. As if sensing someone's distress, the pitch black claws immediately tore the space and in a matter of minutes, it arrived to where Yu Han was located. The black arm sense something from Yu Han, the instinct of someone from the same bloodline, it knew that Yu Han was from its tribesmen, it can sense the aura of the Zheal Crystal thus, the black arm mistaken it for its tribesmen, thus, the black arm save him and immediately tore down the space and went through another dimension

The dark aura that surrounding the black arm suddenly invaded the his body, doing something within his organs and changing his body into something bizzare, unless one have sharp eyes, you could never tell the vitality and strength that his muscles would have, the dark energy changed his DNA structure into a complete higher level, if Yu Han were awake; he would find himself that his senses were sharper and his body was much firmer.

The dark energy, after changing his body into something to a superhuman would have, it then charge through his veins, the dark energy replaced his blood with an unknown plasma, its dark gold and much more better than a human blood because it carried a lot of nutrients and carried the genetics of a higher beings.

Although, it may seems to be slow and detailed but actually, it happens really fast, in a matter of minutes; the dark energy had completed most of its task. Now, it had one more organ that it had to change. After the heart, the most important organ is the brain that controls everything, mankind might thought that they were the most perfect being on the whole universe but it is only applied to the 23rd Dimension of the 24 Dimensions that exists.

Mankind possessed many impurities in their bodies that made them unable to live long enough and had a short lifespan of a 200 years, although their smartness and creativity made them one of the top-10 creatures on 23rd Dimensions but their short lifespan is enough for them to dislike them. Being able to lived long enough is an honor!

After the hand tear through the dimension, it immediately arrived at the 22nd dimension. The 22nd dimension is also known for being treacherous, vicious and are full of cosmic beasts; they eat living beings and are powerful, some noteworthy of them had guts to eat the stars!

The weakest of them only had Level 1 and couldn't even hurt a human being but after Level 10, it is now possible for a Cosmic beast to swallow up a human being!

From the 1st to the 22nd dimensions, they had a system, everything was determined by their races, levels and strength. The 23rd and the 24th dimensions were kick out, because they were too weak to compete.

The huge black hand put down the unconscious Yu Han on a flat and grassy plain and silently left. The dark energy also left from his body, only leaving a strand of energy behind.
