Life is not fair to anyone; you have to give life a fight. The rich man in Luke chapter 12 was called foolish because he lived for today and didn't consider tomorrow. He became complacent simply because he thought he had gotten it all.
Luke 12:19-20
19. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
20. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

Don't stop going in life; don't settle down for the average. If God has planned for you the best, why settle for the less? The way to know you are growing is that the more you know, the more you think you don't know. Those who think they know, they don't actually know but those who think they don't know are the ones who really know - that is life.
Life is more than living to eat; you have not really lived until you have lived for others; until you have lived for God's purpose for your life. Let there be an enlargement within you. Open your eyes; there are things around you to learn. In the olden days, a man that has few thousands of currency will be considered a very rich man but things have changed now. Life is changing and you also need to upgrade yourself.
Isa 54:2
Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
Don't look for small things thinking its humility. Look for big things and dream big. If you don't desire big things for yourself, for the sake of others do so. If you think you don't need it, someone near you will; so make people happy by being a blessing.
There is no way you can do more and your glory will be covered up. It is only when your yam is not big enough that you don't announce it. I was once in Benue state, Nigeria and I was shocked when I saw heaps of yam that looks four times bigger than the type I usually see in the Southwest region of the country. At that time, I thought it was a waste of time to make such big heaps but I was later told that the bigger the heap, the better chance the yam has to be big. No wonder they are called the Food Basket of the nation. They had the ingenuity that the bigger your heap, the better your production. So do more.
