Finally, the three heavy machine gun teams installed the machine guns on specially constructed platforms. The riflemen carried their rifles and took positions behind the protective wall and inspected their firearms while the mortar group made their preparations further back.

With the preparations going smoothly, Zhang Xiao Qiang looked at Yang Ke'er. Yang Ke'er was extremely moody and looked as though she had no battlefield awareness at all. She stood in front of the Land Rover, dressed in rose red windbreaker while carrying the little girl that had a wide smile and looked around. Ever since Yang Ke'er saw the little girl after her shower, she took a liking for her. At that moment, she went over and hugged the little girl, who was obedient and adorable, earning Yang Ke'er's feelings. Whenever Yang Ke'er had any nice snacks or toys, she would find the little girl. Even when sleeping, she would hug the little girl.
