Chapter 252: Close quarters entanglement

Seeing that the S2 could no longer move, Yang Ke'er gave a smirk. She walked over towards the dogleg machete when suddenly, an S2 appeared from behind a vehicle covered in grime. It launched its two black claws at Yang Ke'er and opened its mouth, revealing its yellow and darkened teeth towards her throat.

Yang Ke'er's direction was towards the machete and the S2 appeared from her right, which prevented her from reacting immediately with the shield that was on her left hand. It was already too late as Yang Ke'er turned her body to face the zombie.

In a panic, Yang Ke'er used the shield to cover her face and did a half-kneel, which caused the S2 swiped the air above her head. In the air, the S2 that could not feel anything was pulled by its left thigh. By the time it landed on the ground, its black leg was torn off its body.

Yang Ke'er stood up with her heart beating quickly. She walked over to the S2 on the floor, stepped on its back, used the dogleg machete and hooked onto the S2's throat. The S2's black and round head was instantly nicked off from the body by the extremely sharp blade.

Looking down on the S2, Yang Ke'er stuck out her little tongue before turning towards Zhang Xiao Qiang, she wanted to see if he had noticed her mistake again.

Zhang Xiao Qiang did not have the time to look at her. He was the leader and also the main target of the Type-S zombies. Although he had killed off two S2s at the beginning, even more of them were coming towards him.

He had thrown the empty Desert Eagle on the ground. He had finished up the remaining five bullets, and although Shangguan Qiao Yun was able to handle the S2s, the Sniper Rifle in her hand fired off Type-53 HMG bullets. Two S2s jumped down from the left and right towards Zhang Xiao Qiang. One of them had its head blasted off in midair, perfectly timed by Shangguan Qiao Yun who had just reloaded her rifle. The brain juice and blood splattered all around its body the moment it landed on the ground.

With one down, Zhang Xiao Qiang faced off against the remaining one that had appeared before him. The features of the hideous zombie were extremely clear in his eyes, his sharp eyes able to capture the white cement slags and soil particles between the creases of the withered and black skin. He was able to see flesh between its sharp teeth, and could naturally see the sharpness of the claws coming towards him.

The gold spirals Beast Horn Spear smashed onto the S2's frail shoulder, distorting the entire arm into an extremely weird angle. "BANG…." The Type-85 SR unleashed its might once again. The Type-53 HMG bullet flew into the S2's throat and ripped apart the S2's cervical vertebrae, leaving its head to slant with only skin left to connect it to the body.

The other S2 ignored its dead companion and pounced onto Shangguan Qiao Yun. Seeing the disgusting face approaching her so quickly, Shangguan Qiao Yun did not have the time to draw the M1911A1 at her waist. She helplessly closed her eyes and waited for her death.

After pulling his blade back, Guo Fei did not even turn to look at Shangguan Qiao Yun or Zhang Xiao Qiang. He turned and welcomed another zombie that appeared behind him. Watching Guo Fei tangle with the S2, Zhang Xiao Qiang fell into a bad mood. He turned and beheaded the S2 beneath the vehicle, then stood up and supported Shangguan Qiao Yun up.

The kick was too strong and resulted in her being unable to stand steadily. Zhang Xiao Qiang got her to sit at the side while he walked towards Guo Fei. Looking at his rear, Shangguan Qiao Yun drew the pistol from her waist and looked around cautiously.
