In woman's hands were several oversized bags.

"Which bedroom?", Kendra asked as soon as Bri closed the door.

"What?", Bri didn't get it.

"You can undress here, but I guess it's more convenient in a bedroom.", Kendra looked at Bri like she had this conversation many times before and she is irritated that she needs to go through it again.

Brianna walked to the bedroom from where she took a shower and Kendra followed.

As soon as they got in, Kendra started going thought bags.

"Here… put this on, and then remove the robe so I can see you.", Kendra seemed in a rush.

Bri noticed that she is holding panties. They are brand new, and obviously a better choice than the wet ones from the bathroom, so she did as Kendra said.

Kendra observed Bri's figure who was in front of her only in panties and squinted before getting a matching bra out of one of the bags. "This will fit."

Bri was surprised that the bra fits her perfectly. Kendra knows what she is doing.

Kendra arranged a black long dress on the bed and placed matching high-heeled shoes next to it before getting few boxes and putting them on the desk. She gestured to Bri to sit on a chair and started doing her hair and makeup with swift and well-practiced movements, without a word.

"You have done this many times.", Bri voiced her thoughts.

"Yes.", Kendra didn't deny it. "I have many years of experience in getting models ready for the runway and photoshoots. As Quentin's assistant, I do what he asks me to do."

Bri frowned. "You bring clothes for Quentin's dates?"

Kendra's movements paused for a second. "This is the first time that I'm doing this service in his apartment."

Bri understood that she is not the first woman to get this… service. And Kendra is loyal to Quentin to the point of not telling his current date about his previous ones.

Bri told herself not to be bothered by it. She knows that Quentin is a player, and she is here only to have fun. She is not looking for a boyfriend anyway. If she wants any commitment and a real relationship, she will stay away from this guy.

Bri stood like a lifeless doll while allowing Kendra to finish all the styling, and to put the dress and shoes on her.

"Turn around, let me see you…", Kendra's words pulled Bri out of her stupor.

Kendra smiled and nodded in satisfaction at the sight of Bri in a sleeveless black gown with a low open back and a V-neck in front which is showing just a hint of her cleavage. The dress hugs Brianna's curves perfectly while flaring away slightly at her ankles. The fine dark fabric is embroidered with details which shimmer in silver, creating intricate designs while emphasizing all the right places.

Bri's hair is pulled up into a high ponytail which is braided loosely on the top half and the bottom half falls freely over her left shoulder.

The makeup is minimalistic, not hiding any of Bri's perfect skin.

"It fits you just right.", Kendra approved the overall look and then talked about the dress: "It is one of a kind. US Glam magazine featured it in the last month's edition. You are lucky to wear it."

Kendra looked at Bri for another few seconds, admiring the result of her work, and then packed her things swiftly.

"I'm done here.", Kendra said and shuffled out of the room.

Few seconds later, Bri heard the front door closing.

Only then Bri realized that she didn't tell Kendra her name, and Kendra didn't ask for it either.

Bri told herself that if one day she hires an assistant, she will look for one like Kendra: loyal, efficient, not nosy and great at styling.

Bri looked at herself in the mirror and acknowledged that she looks like a million bucks. The dress fits her just right. The fabric is soft and comfortable. Other than her arms and back, the dress does not reveal too much skin, yet it is very seductive. Or at least she feels like that.

She touched her bare neck and wished that she has a necklace. Something shiny, diamonds maybe… it would match the dress. Well, you can't have it all and she should not complain because this is great already.

"Beautiful…", Quentin said under his breath when he saw Bri come out to the living room.

Bri smiled without looking away from him.

"You are handsome.", she returned the compliment.

Quentin is wearing a well fitted black suit and he is beyond handsome.

He reached for her hand and kissed the back of her palm without breaking the eye contact. Bri's breath hitched and she hoped that he didn't notice.

"Thank you for arranging this. The dress is beautiful.", she said while glancing down.

"Don't mention it.", he said lightly and added: "I know the designer personally. If I don't know better, I would assume that the dress is made for you. I hope that you will keep it."

Quentin circled around Bri and she was surprised when an elegant necklace touched her neck.

She closed her eyes while he worked on the clasp in the back and opened them when he placed a gentle kiss on her left shoulder before ushering her toward the mirror so that she can see herself.

White gold and diamonds on the necklace matched the shimmer of the dress and it complimented it perfectly.

Bri smiled at herself in the mirror while observing how the necklace completes the look. It is beyond amazing. Better than what she imagined.

She lowered her gaze when she saw that Quentin is watching her. "Where are we going for dinner?"

"You will see…", he extended her hand toward her, palm up.

Bri placed her hand in his. "OK. But remember my condition. I don't want to end up online compared with your other hookups."

"I remember.", he assured her and paused. "Please, don't see yourself as my hookup."

Bri responded with a smile which didn't reach her eyes. "I don't see myself as anything."

Quentin doesn't know how to respond to this. But Bri is here, by his side, and they are heading for a dinner.

He is not sure how to interpret her occasional mentioning of his exes or these random episodes of coldness. It looks like she is keeping a distance from him on purpose, and he needs to work his way into her heart, one step at a time. And that is exactly what he plans to do.

Quentin is not concerned that someone will photograph them or anything like that. He is not like Max. Well, in a way he is, but the main difference is that Max is staying in the Seattle area, while Quentin travels a lot. That is why Max is known as the 'Seattle's greatest playboy' while Quentin has a much lower profile and his name never got dragged into the gossip of Seattle's nightlife.

Quentin reminded himself to stay focused. He knows he looks good, and he will put his A game on, and Bri is breathtaking.

Kendra did her job great by making a dinner reservation which will impress Brianna (hopefully). A great evening is ahead of them and Quentin is excited to show his fiery Goddess what all he can do for her.
