Ae were both exhausted after our ordeal, but not enough to go straight to bed. We stopped by the guild to pick up a bottle of distilled spirits from the bar before heading home. We sat by the fire place, each of us sipping our beverages.

At some point I had convinced Hylia to bring out her guitar. She was rather shy about it at first, claiming she had never played in front of anyone before, but I insisted.

I would say she played beautifully, but the style of her music could not be called beautiful. That is not to say the music was not good, rather that beautiful was not the adjective to correctly describe the sounds she summoned from her guitar.

The sounds were deep and chaotic. The notes would stir your soul, causing your body to feel energized, yet burn with rage. In a way the sounds granted against your soul, causing your fury to be ignited. Yet at the same time the notes were addicting, something that you felt was always missing, something that was always just out of reach.

The words were unrefined, they were not pretty. But they were mine. They contained all my thoughts and feelings ever since I had reincarnated in this world. From being born a female goblin. I let out a sigh, and realized that Hylia had stopped playing. She looked at me with tired eyes, and nodded at my words.

She was right. When I looked at my status there had been changes. My blessings and titles were gone. In their place was one of each.

I had the feeling that Hylia was right, that from this point forward things were going to be a lot more difficult for the two of us. But as long as we were together, maybe we would be able to make it through.

I leaned over and planted a passionate kids on her lips. Grabbing her hand I slowly led her to the room. As long as we were together, then none of the rest mattered.
