05. The new Earth

Just then both Xavier and Ace both bowed their heads and said " We want you to protect the universe ,you are our only chance for us to protect the heart th of the universe. Letting the heart get tainted by those vile creatures because of our failure will bring mass destruction and death, more than anything the universe has ever seen, for whoever controls the heart has every life in the universe in the palm of their hands. Although heart connects to all life it can not protect therefore it needs to be protected"
For moment i thought i was seeing things, these proud beings bow their heads to someone like me. This put a lot of pressure on me ,having the responsibility of protecting the one thing that could not fall into the wrong hands,thinking about it some more going to the afterlife and telling my family i did nothing with my life but hide in a shell will be very pathetic.
At the end I gave in and accepted the , " Okay I'll try"
Both Ace and Xavier still with their heads bowed shook their heads," Trying won't do. If trying were to be the solution we would have just chosen anybody for this"
This made me pause and think clearly what I was getting myself into, I was suppose to protect the heart from any who seeks it's ownership that is the whole demon race.

"Okay I'll do my best ..... No I'll make sure nothing gats pass me , I accept the responsibilities of inheriting your DNA and being chosen " , I said and also bowed in return
" Nothing will make us happier kid" , Xavier said smiling widely which made him look like a little kid who just got what he wanted with Ace having a faint smile on his face.
"Now all that's left is to let your body heal which is easy but your soul which was left damaged by the pain you went through will take more time, let's say about twenty years", I thought I was hearing things for a second.
"Twenty years !!!! why!!!"
"If we should allow you to go right now not taking the state of your body into consideration which was left by the other DNA implanted in you. Your soul which could your greatest weakness and strongest advantage, having a damage soul makes it easier for you to be corrupted ".
"okay i understand "
"So what am i going to be doing this twenty years. I can't just sit around and do nothing"
"We would like to train you but the healing of the soul require you to be asleep. About your body we could have healed you instantly but that would be akin to killing since your body is not ready to handle our full power yet so we're powering the healing factor in the DNAs in your body, there by healing you gradually " ,Xavier said.
" About your animal DNA we were thinking of removing them".
" What ?!!!, removing them? Not gonna happen on my watch while I'm still alive"
"Yeah we know ,we had decided against at the end and that would have been a bad idea seeing your reaction, Hahaha you looked like you were about to have a heart attack there and then. "
"Well the reason we decided against it was that you will not be able to use our abilities for your needs from the get go, you'd have to train them for your offense and defense ,so as to not put you at disadvantage you can use your transformations from the beginning but I doubt you would need them in the future", Ace said
"Now let's the scenery abit"
Ace. snapped his fingers and darkness around us disappeared changing our surroundings into a meadow, I felt the wind moving around , the flowers in the meadow were so beautiful, I just wanted to lie down and sleep for eternity.
"You enjoying the view" I heard Xavier say from behind me. I turned around and both of them standing there. What surprised me was what they were both wearing, they both had on beach shirts and shorts and that's when I also noticed I was also wearing the same thing.
"Is this place real ", I asked them
"No, it isn't, this is just one of the places l used to like when I was alive because of its quietness, I thought the scenery will calm you for all what we are going to tell you ",said Ace
"Yeah ,it is calming"
"Here we will teach you all you need to know about the new earth you will be entering the only thing we don't know is how technological the races have advanced but their magic power structure would never change that we are sure of"
