From what I know, Southern castle has a lot of reserves as well if they are in a crisis. I assume their policymakers deployed more men at Southern Castle knowing its importance as they would be able to capture the Western Castles via the Southern Castle even if they lose it. Prince Hector smiled as he thought of claiming throne while Norman was drooling when he thought of gaining the various factories and businesses of North-frontier town which would be detrimental for his domain.

Norman thought, 'Yes, this might very well make the northern domain of Aelius kingdom as the Industrial hub of this whole continent. Yes, this is a chance we can't lose. Risks and gains always follow hand in hand.'

Hector smiled and thought, 'Who cares if someone faces the ire of that count. If he invades more than necessary then the Royal Family will instantly deploy the Dragon knights. At worse, we would back off to Gritos. However, If I win I would have a real chance to claim the throne in the future. Not a bad choice in exchange for some soldiers.'

Alistair smiled as he heard Antonio but didn't say anything. He thought as he heard Antonio, 'Idiot. If that count was a fool, he would have long succumbed to Fjord and Royal family's pressure. Well, this war would still be fun If that count is able to turn the tables after battling against Lord Irwin since Antonio would be paying the biggest price. Alistair looked closely at both the castles and remarked, "Both of these castles seem unusually close, We should avoid attacking them from the middle. I would advise to attack them from the sides as a safer bet."

Norman looked at the castles and agreed, "Yes, we should attack them from the sides. I think we should attack the castle headed by that General Amber. I have heard that he is quite hot-headed, unlike the other cold guy Marsh."

Alistair nodded as he too agreed with Norman.

Hector smiled as he looked at both the castles, "Ok, It's decided, we will attack Amber's Castle. Come and prepare to attack fast."

Amber and Marsh watched Hector's army from their Respective castles as they looked through the Telescopes.

Amber and Marsh both lit the signal high in the air as they prepared to face the onslaught, "Fire the signal."
