Darius approached and tried to remove Lucy's clothes.
This time she took out a knife from her clothes and thrust it directly into the left eye of Darius. Darius was unaware of the knife in his lust as the knife thrust into his left eye.
Darius screamed hoarsely as he held his eyes. His eyes were bleeding profusely as he tried to remove the knife.
"Cunning bitch just like her cunning husband attacking out of nowhere. Catch her, I will make sure she sees hell before dying."
Lucy then looked towards Lucius lovingly but with a sad look, "Remember Lucius, don't trust anyone and never give an oath to anyone like your stupid father. You can see what happened to his family after his death. However, keep the moral values of your father, I guess this was also the reason why I loved him. Judge people based on your own experiences. Catch this knife and keep it safe. I will not be here for long and be able to escape with you. You will have to live on your own my child. And remember to pay these scums back 100 fold for what they have done to us today. Both of us will run in different ways."

Lucy threw the knife with great force towards the throat of the one holding Lucius. The knife got stabbed on the chest of the knight as Lucius bit of the hand and kicked on the balls of the other guy as he took the knife out from the knight and ran towards her mother however he saw the stern look on her mother's face as he grit his teeth and ran on the opposite side for the chance she created for him to escape.

Lucius cried with anger as he ran as hard as he can, "No Mom, I will not let your sacrifice be in vain. I will make sure every one of these bastards pays for what they did today."

Darius roared as he saw her running away, "Let that brat run, let 2 men chase him. how far can he go? first, catch that bitch. I lost my left eye because of this bitch. I will make sure she pays. As for that kid, I will kill him in front of her so she begs me to save his life."

One of the knights spoke, "Lord Knight, that brat has already escaped far away, wouldn't it be a problem if we can't catch him? Duke ordered us to bring both of them."

Darius roared and spoke, "Don't worry, he is just a kid, how far can he go without our detection in this town. He would eventually be caught by our men. First focus on that bitch."

Lucy spoke to everyone as she saw Lucius running away, "You guys did a grave mistake and a sin by targeting me and my innocent son. Without investigating anything you already crucified us. My son will avenge me and my husband's death. As for you guys catching me, hmph. I am the proud daughter of a knight and I always will be. I would rather die than you guys can even get your hands on me. Remember this, This is to everyone present here, The humiliation and betrayal that we faced today will not be forgotten."

As soon as the knights could even catch her, Lucy took out another knife and slit her own throat,

'I would rather die with suicide and honor of taking your eye than dying a 100 deaths from you and your men when you try to defile me before even granting me death. Be safe my son, We will always love you and pray for your well being. Your mom is leaving you. I know you will become a great man. I hope father is still alive.'
Lucy closed her eyes as she slit her throat and thought.
Lucius's eyes shed tears as he gritted his teeth and ran from the knights with all the force,
Hearing Knight's scream Lucius knew that her mother died, for the first time his eyes showed extreme hatred to something. He was shedding tears as well as crying. There was a contrast of emotions as he ran as intensely as he could as he knew that the knights would come for him now that her mother died.
One of the knights reported cautiously to Darius, "Milord, Henry's wife is dead. What do we do?"

Darius was quite angry after hearing this news, "Damn this bitch is as stubborn as that man. Go and catch that brat."

Ralph sighed as he couldn't save her on time as Grim's men were always on a lookout for him.
"Damn, I lost another good man because of this bastard, Grim. I guess he needs to face the same music as Evan did. I guess father removed all the frustration on Henry's family because of his past behavior of saving random people from Evan."

Meanwhile, Alistair reported the current events to Prince Hector, "Milord, the current mission was a success however that Count's men were still able to sniff out a bit of our conspiracy. But that won't be a problem as I already arranged a man on Lord Evan's side who testified against his guard and Count John's men. Lord Evan's guard's situation was unknown as he fell from the hillside at Riverside town so we didn't take any chances and stuck when Duke Fjord was really angry with both the guard and Count John. Duke Fjord in his anger has vowed to wipe out Count John and this works in our favor."

Prince Hector gruntled as he heard Alistair, "That Upstart and his men are all the same. Always poking their nose where it isn't necessary. So it seems our plan has at last worked for Duke Fjord to take the bait."

Alistair nodded, "However, Lord, I believe that Duke Fjord is just using this as a pretext to stake a claim on those new ballistas and northern-southern trade. But I am not quite sure about his intentions."

Prince Hector, "Meanwhile, how did that count get a clue on our current operation? do you have any ideas?"

Alistair took one report and handed it to Hector, "I believe it was Duke Sapphire who met him previously who gave him the information on our plan. As he is the only one currently accusing us of foul play privately in this current matter. I believe this is also strengthened by the fact that we are linked very closely to Duke Norman. I am also sure this meeting was also one of the reasons that instigated Duke Fjord to announce his attacks on him as he sold his ballistas to Duke of Southern forest and his navy."

Prince Hector frustratingly drank his wine and said, "That Half-elf seems to have a lot of spies on our end and that Count is always creating new problems for us. Keep an eye on Duke Fjord's fleet and their damage report so that we can gauge our chances. Meanwhile, also keep our men at North-frontier town to keep a close eye on that count."

Alistair nodded and left, "No problems Milord. I will be leaving to finish my meeting with other Aristocrats."
