World Development System 182 113. The Captain's shock.

Antonio's knight head asked his permission from Antonio, "Lord, can we start?"

Antonio smiled as he already got the signal from Prince Hector to start Port's blockade, "Yes, you guys can now start arresting those barbarians of North-frontier town. If they block, kill them for resisting arrest and trial. This way we can take their Ships legitimately as well. Looking at the way how he was so easily conned by the King I don't think it would be difficult to get our hands on those ballistas. We will become the kings of seas if we can get our hands on them."

Antonio drank his wine and toasted with the knight head and dreamed of his ambitions, "That guy will always remain a fool. Previously he lost his recipes to us and a part of the Food business for a mere small town and now he lost his ballistas to his very enemies again. Next time we will be invading his very land. This is what happens to those who offend me. I still haven't forgotten that previous Humiliation where he made a mockery of me in front of the whole market."

The head smiled and thanked his lord, "Thank you, Milord, for granting our wishes."

Antonio shook his head and spoke, "No, this problem of that count was long overdue and it was killing me every time I watched his men at our port while consoling myself with a bitter heart that he is stronger than us and we can't do anything against him."

Antonio told his butler, "James, you can go with him later on and explain our actions. I am sure you too were waiting for this moment for a long time, right?"

James smiled as he too remembered the previous humiliation he faced, "Yes, Milord."

He thought, 'How can I forget that humiliation so easily. A mere small merchant had dared to humiliate me. I guess we will lose income from the port's taxes by blockade however compared to power gained this money is nothing.'

At the Eastern Port,

Sailors and other soldiers of John were already evacuating with the orderly manner and fast speed. They had already received the orders from Taylor to evacuate immediately and were currently directed by Eric.

Antonio's soldiers were currently headed for the port in an arrogant manner with James after receiving permission from Antonio to arrest all the sailors belonging to Count John.

One of the men spoke, "This time they will pay for all the arrogance they have shown this past year. All of this humiliation will be washed away today with their public humiliation.

As soon as they arrived at the port,

The Captain of guards spoke in a smug manner to all the Sailors at the port belonging to Count John.

"All of you bastards, listen carefully, Drop your arms and surrender yourself peacefully or you will see a massacre which you wouldn't want."

James was looking at all this ruckus from the sides as he didn't want to interfere.

The sailors immediately ignored the Captain.

Eric groaned as he was watching a woman with his telescope, "Uggh... who is ruining my entertainment time."

Eric was amused as he heard the captain and spoke, "Why don't you try it yourself? You think we won't kill you just because this is the land of your lord? We are already treating you as our enemies. However, remember this, we are the same guys who decimated naval fleets of Fjord."

A lot of knights perspired as they remembered about the previous destruction of Fjord's Fleet.

The Captain laughed and rebuked Eric who was only a captain of a trade fleet owned by Joseph, "Who are you scaring? It was that Barbarian, Blake who did all the work. Stop boasting just because you guys were present in that operation where you almost lost to Captain Shannon. Men, Charge and kill them if necessary since they are the resisting arrest. I don't care about the consequences, Lord Antonio has already given a free-hand to us to handle this matter."

Looking at the situation, Eric sighed and with cold-blooded eyes gave his orders.

Eric ordered without even blinking his eyes, "Kill them if anyone of them crosses that blue line 5 meters ahead of us. They have anyway offended me big time while I was having my fun time staring at women with my telescope. There will be no restraints in this battle. Show these little kids what is a battle. Others will meanwhile continue loading the ship. No need to be distracted. We are heading for Aurora without a change in schedule."

People unfamiliar with Aurora island didn't understand anything about it.

The captain of knights was immediately angered by the nonchalant and disrespectful attitude showed by Eric.

Every one of the sailors roared in unison, "Yes, Sir."

All the people including commoners at the port were shocked watching the discipline of these men who were usually uncouth and only came here to drink and have fun.

Eric sighed as he viewed the Eastern port one last time, 'Here goes my viewing gallery. I will miss those ladies. These guys will pay for ruining my fun time. I guess I will have to find a new dwelling at Aurora Island.'

Soon all the knights headed by the captain charged to arrest Eric and his men, this time without even blinking once and emboldened by the captain without any fear. One of the knights spoke as all the 150 knights headed to arrest them.

"Hmph, these bufoons think they can overwhelm us in our own territories? We will make sure that they pay the price for their arrogance. This is not the sea where they can run amok and do whatever they like."

As soon he crossed the blue line, Sean without blinking came and slashed the guy with his Sabre without any remorse

Everyone was shocked as this indicated that John's men were prepared for a brutal battle when one of the knights died.

The Captain stopped where he was moving immediately and roared Hysterically, "You...! You dare kill our men in such broad daylight?"

Eric nonchalantly spoke as he was chewing a fox-tail grass in his mouth with a little of killing intent, "You were already warned, so don't blame me. As I said earlier if anyone of you crosses that blue line, then you will die. So don't blame me. You see, all of your men can die as well if you wish for hell or heaven so early. I don't really care. However next time you guys step forward, it would be those ballistas attacking you that are pointing at you guys. So expect a gruesome and unhonorable death. What do you say Captain-San? Do you want to try yourself personally?"

The captain was red from ear to ear as he heard the mockery of Eric. He thought as he was in a dilemma, 'It seems they will kill everyone if I try to force my way. However, I can't take this lying down. I will make sure this becomes an incident for these arrogant men.'

The Captain roared as he had a cruel smile, "Charge forward, lets see how they can escape today after killing one of our men. Does this ragtag bunch think that they can fight? Charge for glory, Men."

Some of the men charged while some smart men didn't charge.

Eric stopped picking his mouth with his fox-tail grass and decided to join the battle, He gave orders with a serious face to his men, "I guess there is no helping it. It seems some fools still want to die for such an inept leader. VERY WELL, GRANT THEIR WISH, MEN. No need to hold back. Fire Ballistas at will on whoever that crosses the blue line. Kill without any mercy, these scums and idiots don't deserve it anyway."

Ballistas fired indiscriminately as they spared no one that crossed the line, those who survived the barrage were killed by the Sailors at the other end.

In the end, With a high killing intent, Eric slashed the captain with his sword as it cut the right hand of the captain who barely saved his life,

The captain screamed as he barely saved his life, "Hey...! You said you won't kill anyone who didn't cross the line. Are you reneging on your word?"

Eric smiled and spoke, "Well, you are still living, aren't you? This was just a small punishment for the offense and the little game you wanted to play. You see I don't really care about your petty games. You guys are anyway going to become cannon fodder. You better be careful." Eric leaked high killing intent as he spoke the last sentence.

Eric turned to all the knights present here and spoke with a mighty bloody aura which was leaking heavy killing intent, Most of the people could sense it, The knights instinctively backed off, "To all the young knights present here. If you care for your families. Desert this army or else all of you are going to see a storm which you have never seen and get swallowed in it because of the pathetic little game your Lord played with someone at the top at Greenwoods Village. This time I am not giving a personal warning but a decree of my Lord. There will be fury which this land hasn't seen on this continent. Congratulations to your Lord because he has certainly managed to piss my Lord off this time. He rarely gets pissed but when he does, he makes sure that other guy pays 10 times of what they have inflicted."

The captain and James too shivered as they felt the heavy killing intent in Eric's tone. For the first time, The Captain felt danger from Eric and his men. He looked around and saw heavy killing intent which was reeking from Eric and his men and understood that if he pushed too far then he too might lose his life. He thought, 'Is this the effect of baptizing through battles? Its as if they are already in a war. This is dangerous, I can't let my men fight these guys or every single of us will die. These guys sure are dangerous. They give out a very dangerous atmosphere. Looking at their expressions, these guys are very much accustomed to this atmosphere.' 

Eric thought with a grave expression as he had read the letter and had a tense face as Taylor had given him the letter. He thought, 'I guess those guns will be used at last. These guys certainly managed to piss every one of us at North-frontier city.'

The captain immediately ordered as he ran off with his remaining 50 men who were terrified of those ballistas, He roared at his men, "Backoff, We are going to bring in the reinforcements. This is a strategic retreat."

James cursed as he saw the gruesome scene, "Dammit, each and every one of them is more cunning than the other. Using underhanded tricks and methods whether it is that count, demons or this new lackey of theirs. It's better if I am not seen by anyone of those guys or they will target me instantly."

Meanwhile, Eric didn't even bother looking at James as he was a nobody.

A lot of people started making distance with the port after watching such one-sided gruesome battle while Eric and his men too started to increase the speed of loading the ships to head towards Aurora Islands.

One of the men cried in shock as he saw the previous scene, "Is this for real? Baron's men were unable to do anything to a bunch of sailors at the port? What the hell is going on? Are we really this weak?"

Another guy spoke in a very low tone, "You don't know anything. They are men of Count John's navy. Currently, there is already a blockade for trade at North-frontier town. I guess something big has happened. We will get to know about it in a day or two from those papers at least. Lets go for now. I am guessing a bigger amount of knights will be coming here after this incident. It will get bloodier for everyone present here, lets retreat. That man over there is quite dangerous. Just the atmosphere he leaked previously reeked of a massacre as if he is already in a warzone. I am sure he has been to bigger battles and thinks of this as nothing in his eyes."

He pointed towards Eric and spoke in a low tone.

The man looked at Eric and nodded, "Yes, I instinctively feel that this guy is very dangerous, lets head out."
