That black Soul Armature who had shown no mercy obviously did not expect that the skinny body of Sven the Rogue Knight could withstand his full blow. The power that he could sense from him was undoubtedly only at the Intermediate Level. It meant that he really was at the Intermediate Level because of his own innate capabilities and that he did not bypass the ranking assessment.

So how is it possible for a mere Intermediate Level fighter to still be standing after that blow? And look at that posture! He's ready to continue fighting! Do all these dragon knights native to Gouve have some secret techniques to hide their real strength? The black Soul Armature was completely baffled. Ahhhhh whatever! I'll just defeat him first! Then, he continued telling Baiyi proudly, "HAHAHAHAHA! You can still stand up straight? Seems like I have underestimated your strength! I guess the previous matches on the arena just now did not leave you satisfied, am I right? Well then, shall we continue?"

Undine who had previously intended to stop the battle temporarily dismissed the idea after watching Baiyi's performance. That Sven the Rogue Knight was way stronger than she had expected. As long as that proud dragon knight was defeated, she could appease him gently and offer him resources that could further enhance his strength. Such a small speed gap was barely enough for Baiyi to escape the attack from his opponent. As for offense, he would need to wait for his opportunity before he could finally strike.

The situation at once turned into a stalemate. Even though Baiyi managed to stay away from the heavy slashing of his opponent, the opportunity for him to counterattack had not presented itself yet. It was apparent that his opponent was rich with combat experience. He did not randomly just wave and slash his swords around, instead, every tactic that he used was well-thought-out and smooth, leaving absolutely zero chance for Baiyi to attack. From time to time, he even used a few sinister tactics with the intention to trick Baiyi and lure him in for an attack. As for now, if the person under that cloak was a handsome man, even if there was still plenty of room for his strength to grow, if he was willing to serve the Dole family sincerely then she was not opposed to the future development between the two of them...

At that time, Baiyi who was doing his best out there was not aware that the beautiful knight by their side had started to develop a liking to him that stemmed from curiosity. All he noticed was the long battle that had been dragged out for quite some time and the lack of opening from his opponent that he had been hoping for. The speed of his opponent did not seem to be getting any slower. After all, he was a Soul Armature, there was no such thing as physical exhaustion at all.

The words of the black Soul Armature did not throw Baiyi off balance but it actually gave him a solution to get out of the situation. Just a moment before, Baiyi was still worried, trying to have a discussion with the Voidwalkers about the matter. It was just that those fellows were all arguing at the same time, giving him a headache with their clashing opinions and yet they still could not come up with any solution that would allow him to turn the situation around without revealing his identity.

Now that the opponent had presented him with that identity, he might as well use it to his own benefit. So, just like that, Sven the Rogue Knight transformed into Sven the Dragon Knight. In the blink of an eye, he casted a few Buffing Spells on himself. The speed was so fast that the black Soul Armature could not even see the Magical Runes that lighted up on his body.

"How did you..." When the Black Soul Armature was about to say somehting, he could feel Baiyi's agility rapidly increase suddenly. He was basically a blur of shadow soaring through the air. Without any warning, Baiyi appeared behind him and rammed his sword towards him. The speed was so fast that it did not give him any room to react. His waist was instantly hit by a huge force and he tumbled forward rolling until he crashed into a wall.

It wasn't just the speed of the opponent that had increased, his strength had also suddenly soared to the point that he could break his Chi Shield? With an incredulous look, he looked down at the scratch made by Baiyi on his waist and asked in astonished tone, "What... What did you just do?"

Of course, Baiyi had no obligation to answer his question at all. Instead, he picked up his long sword and charged towards the black Soul Armature once again. It's my turn for pay back now, isn't it?

Only Undine could vaguely see the instant burst of magical light. She could somehow guess the kind of spells that Baiyi had casted on himself. It did not come as a surprise to her that Baiyi could release Mana. Since dragon knights usually needed to cooperate with the dragons duringvcombat, they would usually be able to roughly cast some simple magic spells.

But the thing that puzzled her the most was the speed that he used to cast the spell. Not only were the runes completely unable to be seen, she was not able to hear the incantation as well. Which part of that was 'roughly casting some simple magic spells', ah? Even a real sorcerer would not be as fast as that!

Why are you so skilled? How long have you been practicing magic? Or is it that you are simply a sorcerer cum dragon knight who had learnt some physical combat skills? Are those buffs that you just casted on yourself some kind of basic spells that would increase your speed?

Strictly speaking, Baiyi only casted two basic Buffing Spells to enhance his energy and speed. However, those two spells had been upgraded over and over again by the group of people who were too bored in the Void and now it was at version 6.30. The effect was way stronger, it lasted a lot longer as well and the incantation was way quicker. Compared to the two Level 5 Buffing Spells, The Brutalizer and The Wind Benediction, the only difference was probably just the acousto-optical effect.

So, it was not impossible for the black Soul Armature to be beaten to pulp at all.

But then again, isn't this fellow a little too tough? Baiyi had slashed towards this black-colored guy for quite some time now. Every slash of his was incorporated with the Sacred Knight's technique, the Broken Chi Technique, to break apart his Chi Shield first before using the Broken Sword Technique to aim for his body. However, even with the use of the high-speed vibration technique, the most Baiyi could inflict was just some superficial scratches on his body. Why did the Chi Prowess get absorbed by the armor everytime the sword touched it? I have obviously slashed him quite a lot of times but why does he still remain unharmed? Other than just looking like a mess.

Wait a minute! Don't tell me that this all-black guy was created by pure black gold that can absorb all types of energy? NO SHIT! THERE REALLY ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO USE THIS EXTREMELY RARE AND PRICELESS ELEMENT TO CREATE A FULL ARMOUR?  Baiyi could not believe his eyes at all.
