Volume 1 Finale: Chapter 15: The begining of a New Life

2 years later



Siren has just received a visitor and is on his way to see them. His hair grew longer as now it goes halfway down his back, and his height has increased to 5 '8. He walked into the conversation room and took a seat as he stared at the bullet proof glass, and waited patiently to see his “Surprise guest”.

“Its probably my cousin. He is the only person who visits me for real. He said to himself as he played with the telephone string. Siren has been here for 3 years now and he is honestly enjoying it here. The people are nice, the food could be worse, and the padded room he has isn’t even that bad.

And the best part is that he hasn’t seen Azazel since. His mind has been healed plenty, but his heart can’t stay the same.

Even though his mind is as mentally stable as possible, he can’t get what happened with Ana out of his head. If it weren’t for his selfishness Ana probably wouldn’t have done all those she did. And he didn’t know what was the main thing the brought her to the stage of madness.

Suddenly the door swung open and footsteps entered the room. Siren opened his eyes and looked in that direction only to be left in shock.

It was Govenor Coldstorm himself.

Siren sat there in shock as his eyes tracked Coldstorm’s movements with a deadly stare.



“Good afternoon Mr.Thompson. I hope you’re therapy has been going well.” He said with a look of interest.

Siren didn’t respond with words, instead he responded by punching the glass as hard as he could.

Coldstorm was unfazed as he watched the black blood drip from Siren’s hand.





Siren’s eyes flickered between his Void state and his normal state



“I should’ve known your magic would’ve bypassed security. But you can stop trying. I’m not here to make things worse. Just tryin to talk to you about something serious.

Your father’s whereabouts.” He said as he pulled out two photos from his leather jacket, and slid them under the glass.

Siren snatched them up as he was left in shock.

“When I said your sister died, I never said how. We found her on a train in New Zealand dead with black blood oozing out of her neck. The footage shows that she wasn’t killed or that she killed herself, but it was completely random. Do you know what could’ve caused it, and what is this black blood?” Coldstorm said as he placed his elbows on the table.


Siren looked closer at the photo of Celeste, as he looked closer he saw that her neck was opened up.

“Retrieve me her scarf, and we’ll go from there.” Siren said, crossing his arms.


Coldstorm hastefully grabbed a small box and reached inside of it and pulled out a red scarf with blood on it, and tossed it to Siren.


“Black blood isn’t rare at all. Most people who mastered Void have black blood. It is a symbol of our connection with the Queen and our reminder of the path we chose. From what I can tell it could have been Neurodermatitis.Its a disease where the victim scratches their neck to the point of death. It usually comes from stress, mental breakdowns,and stuff of that nature. So that's my guess.” Siren said with a heartache expression.


“Well thanks for answering that for us, we’ll be sure to bury her this evening. You can come if you like, I can make a arrangement if you-


“Nah I’m good. Just tell me about my Father so that you can leave.” Siren said while holding the scarf tightly.

Coldstorm gave Siren a confused look as he let out a sigh.

“There have been reports of your father being sighted in Salvage town. All we know is that the other photo is him, and we don’t know how, and to be frank we- no I wanted you to help.” Coldstorm asked.

Siren looked at the other photo and it showed his father entering a bar.\

“. . . I miss my father, but he knows where home is and if he wants to come home, he knows where it is.” Siren said with a faint smile on his face.


Coldstorm chuckled a bit as he stood up.

“You and I are alike Siren, more than either of us will ever accept. You know who to call if you need anything.” Coldstorm said as he left.

Siren frowned as he left frustrated,



He walked passed many people as he slammed the door in his room and laid down on the fluffy padded floor.


Siren lifted the scarf up as he lifted a secret compartment upward from the edge and dug in there and grabbed something.

It was a silver ring with writing on the inside of it.



“Siblings for life!” It said,


A tear shedded from Siren’s eyes as he reached into his pocket and pulled out two other rings that read the same.

It then sparked an idea


He walked out of his room and went down the hallway and knocked on the large door.

Vail opened the door and Rose waddled towards them both. Siren tossed Vail the rings without saying a word and left.

“Whats up with him today?” She muttered as she read the inside of the rings and smiled.


Vail took some cloth and made a necklace out of it and placed it on Rose’s neck.



This is the start of something new
