"This is the second time we came here and I didn't get the chance to ask in the past. But do you know why this tattered dress in such a display?" Blake stood in front of the cabinet and was holding his chin as he ask.

"Don't go wandering around. This is not your house and the owner was not even here," Devon pulled him to the couch as they wait for Alissa and Hayley to prepare Amber's clothes.

"We have asked it as well, but she just gave us a smile and a vague answer of it being her anchor," Alissa replied as she just came out of Amber's room with a bag of clothes.

Behind her was Hayley who also glanced at the cabinet before following Alissa who gave the bag to the other two.

"You... Do you guys not know the reason why she is here?" Blake once again asked.

"She's protecting us by not telling us too much. In turn we can only keep the questions to ourselves," Hayley answered.

"Oh," was all Blake could say before the four of them went back down to the lobby.

"Are you really that desperate to get Adam back? You know that my family is a major share holder of Fire Empire Hotel, its downfall would obviously be the downfall of my family as well," an irritatingly high pitched voice was what welcomed them upon the opening of the elevator.

"I ask you to calm down, Gretchen. I have no idea what you are talking about right now," Elloise replied with patience in complete contrast to the other woman.

"You don't know? I don't even know how you got yourself acquainted with the young master's of Thomas family and Parker family. Using their credibility to uplift your own hotel while pulling down ours? How wretchedly underhanded for you," Gretchen was fuming mad.

For the past month, the stocks of Fire Empire Hotel seemed to be normal but if one were to look closer the stocks were actually falling continuously. It was small amounts but with it continuously going down surely it will have a great impact in the near future.

This was also due to that stupid fact of the hotel being infested by ghosts.

"Underhanded?" Elloise actually laughed after hearing this word from the woman infront of her.

"Are you sure that word should come from your mouth?"

It was a simple retort but it holds so much meaning, customers and staffs alike started whispering about the woman who suddenly barged in here looking for the owner.

Having been embarassed enough, Gretchen changed her tactic, "What, do you think when your hotel blooms again, Adam would return to you? Dream on."

Elloise gave a small laugh, "Oh please, you can have him all you want. I am not fond of recycling."

Suppressed laughter's were heard among the onlookers. Hayley was being held back by Alissa while Blake and Devon stood behind them, they didn't expect that their simple remarks a while ago would cause such thing.

And they didn't expect that Snow Fall Hotel and Fire Empire Hotel have such connection.

"How dare, a commoner like you spout such things?!?" Gretchen's face was red after receiving another blow.

"Oh I'm sorry, this commoner wasn't taught to hold back on my remarks towards people like you."

"You-"

"Gretchen Williams, daughter of Frank Williams, I say you are currently in my territory. I can call on the police for trespassing," Elloise stood tall.

She is done being the timid wife she once was. After having some small talks with Amber, she understood that her way of dealing with this back then was not right at all. She was just being thrashed around by this people.

"Great just great, you think you're all big now? Let's see what you can do," Gretchen replied as she stormed out of the hotel.

Elloise gave a tired sigh after seeing the woman leave, she then smiled at the people around, "I apologize for such scene. I will make sure that nothing big shall happen after this."

The staffs, who were with her from the very start, were very happy to see their boss no longer allowing those people to trample on her.

The customers were happy to see how well she managed to fend off such a rich woman with words alone. The scene wasn't too big, it only looked one because of how that woman shrieks around.

"Mother!!" Hayley run to her mother after Alissa finally let her go.

"Are you alright?"

"Of course I am, dear," Elloise smiled with gentleness and she felt much more relax after seeing her daughter.

"Ma'am, would you allow us to invest in this hotel of yours?" Devon spoke up after the people have finally dispersed.

The three ladies looked at him in shock.

"We really want to apologize, it seems that our simple remark have escalated and caused you trouble," he explained.

"No, it's fine. I mean we have some past that this could be known as normal," Elloise replied flustered.

"Please, allow us to do this atleast. We will just be investing and will see how much this little hotel would grow."

Blake added before an idea came up after looking at Alissa and Hayley, "Adding to that this will allow your daughter and niece to concentrate more on their studies without thinking much of the hotel."

Elloise this time have no retort, she too wanted these two to study freely without minding the hotel. If the two young gentleman would truly invest in their hotel then they could really start sprinting off by then. They no longer have to worry about their debts.

"At the same time, seeing as you have a past with Fire Empire Hotel, this could also help as a shield for your hotel. With our names attached to it, no one would dare mess with it in the near future until you yourself could support it with your power," Devon added.

"Just because of your remarks, you are going this far?" Alissa couldn't help but ask.

Devon and Blake looked at each other, "We can see that this hotel had the potential as well."

Well the real reason is because of what Amber have done. Ashley is a younger sister to them as well and it seems that Amber considers this hotel as her home in this foreign country.

"Mom, let's accept their offer. If we really want to survive being aggressive is sometimes also a key," Hayley commented after thinking for it for a while.

"You child," Elloise helplessly said before looking up the two young men.

"Very well, I shall call for our lawyer to draw out a contract. I wonder when would the two young gentlemen be available for signing?" she asked with the tone of a business woman.

"We shall give your official number a call. We are currently in the middle of something that we can't do it now. But we will call you once we've done our business," Devon replied politely.

Politeness are rarely heard at the young masters of such rich families. They always have this arrogant attitude towards people who are less rich than they are.

"Thank you very much," Elloise sincerely thanked them.

She also knew that these two are friends with Ashton, the other young man a few days ago who also has this politeness in his voice.

"We too thank you very much for this opportunity," Alissa and Hayley said at the same time, bowing to Devon and Blake.

After bidding them goodbye, the two called for their assistants, one to call for a car and the other to have a real security for the hotel. Emphasizing that they should do their jobs diligently or else.

"Mother have we saved a nation in our past lives? Why is it that we keep getting so much on the year that the hotel could be on its last year?" Hayley subconsciously asked as she watch the main door where the two left.

"Indeed, that is the case, but other than this. I hope Amber is truly alright," Alissa commented.

Elloise who was cope up in her office before Gretchen came, asked them what had happened.

She had also already heard about the kidnapping, seeing all the attitudes of the people she was able to put two and two together.

"I say, could it be that Amber saved the young lady from the kidnappers. And those two who seemed close to her elder brother actually did it to thank her, other than their remarks?" Elloise said to the two of them.

"If that is true, we have another debt to pay her," Alissa couldn't help but say.

"I've decided mother," Hayley suddenly said.

"I shall do my very best in my studies and become a well known fashion designer. I will make it big and help Amber in anyway I can, she had enemies right? Then I will help her defeat those enemies in the future."

Determination was visible in her eyes as she proclaim this.

"Then I too shall do that," Alissa added as she smiled.

"Then I shall leave it to you ladies to return whatever favor we have for Amber, just don't put yourselves in danger, okay?" Elloise knew that Celestial Country was where the real war was.

This place and what is going here was just a small thing. She also knew that the bigger your name becomes the more enemies you will have, she just hope that these three girls wouldn't be put in too much danger on the path they are about to take.
