The Great Conqueror Chapter 24

Chapter 24 – To Examine

Being a Spirit Engraving Master, possessing a good Spirit Engraving knife is extremely important. To others, how to create a Spirit Engraving knife was the most complex and hardest thing. Usually the master would give numerous suggestions on how to complete it, however in the end product it may still not be unsuitable. This obstacle had to be overcome, however to Zou Liang all the information on Spirit Engraving existed in his head, thus it wouldn’t cause even the slightest degree of an issue. The problem was —– Beast Spirit!

A headache, an exceptionally painful headache, this is as a Spirit Engraving Masters knife would consume five Beast Spirits of Power. This was as multifaceted Zou Liang had only just barely reached five points after all of his arduous hard work.

Recently Zou Liang found that his body held a lot of advantages but found there was one large flaw. This was that Ya Se’s Beast Spirit was too small and weak, thus the Beast Spirit he produced himself was weaker. Five days had past; Zou Liang’s time had passed with abundance. After morning training he would join Tuo Ma Si’s side and read books to his heart’s content. Whatever it was that he wanted Tuo Ma Si would try his best to achieve it; Tuo Ma Si himself would also spend time researching Zou Liang’s entire defensive armour design. After listening to Zou Liang’s explanation, Elder Tuo Ma Si’s headache only grew; the complexity of an armour set design would only exponentially increase the difficulty of creating the design.

The main point was for Zou Liang, who had not even formed his Engraving knife, since he considered the difficulty as nothing much. To this the Head Priest could not help but bitterly smile.

Tuo Ma Si himself was a very strange person, he didn’t mind letting Zou Liang mess around. This could be considered as Tuo Ma Si’s wisdom, since this extraordinary Bi Er was a gift bestowed by the Beast God, therefore he could naturally not interfere as he would with a regular person.

As only the results held importance, Tuo Ma Si was willing to gamble as it was likely he would be at a loss if it did not succeed, thus he prepared himself to give it a try.

Ou Nisi Te’s extraordinary Beast Spirit had already slightly surpassed Ya Se’s; after having bountiful meals and nurtured sleep, Ou Nisi Te had burst out of his shell 1.  During this time he had been training under Ya Se’s strict guidance; everyday he was holding stances. Currently there was very weird training; It required one to lie on the ground and do “press ups”, to Ou Nisi Te this was a very complicated name.  In the beginning it was a hundred but now it had already reached a thousand.

In the beginning Ou Nisi Te was instructed to use the palms of his hands thus he was very relaxed and cocky. After two days he still did not have much of a feeling, therefore Zou Liang also very relaxedly made Ou Nisi Te use five fingers. This immediately increased the difficulty on the approximately 200kg Ou Nisi Te and it indeed became enough to cause trouble for him.

But Ou Nisi Te was also a strange one, things that were too easy did not arouse his interest. Contrarily the harder something was, creating a challenge for him, the higher his interest would be.

This kind of training would not use Ya Se’s time, except for the two hours in the morning training with Ou Nisi Te, the rest of the time would be used to organise his own affairs.

In this period Ya Se had already finished reading all of the books in the temple regarding Spirit Engraving; of course there were only tens of book here. As Spirit Engraving was traditionally passed down2, all the precious books would be held by the large family tribes or powerful characters, which even the temple would be hard pressed to try and borrow.

Ya Se already had his own way of doing thing, however he still wished to read and ponder. Perhaps he could even change the concept of Spirit Engraving in this world.

Accompanied by cheerful and cute Ao Li Quan Ya, Ya Se’s lifestyle was incomparably comfortable. Ao Li Quan Ya could not understand any of the messy symbols that Ya Se drew, however she was still very interested in helping him as his assistant. Before Ya Se produced any results, Tuo Ma Si did not wish for him to be disrupted or to have any news leaked, aside from the group that already knew. As Ao Li Quan Ya was part of this group Tuo Ma Si could not be more pleased with her assistance3.

The Head Priest wasn’t without a brain, he had already sent people to investigate and knew that Ya Se had already been to the Engraving Masters Guild; only to be driving away. Whenever Tuo Ma Si thought about this he would be endlessly happy for a while. Now they only needed to wait; wait for him to succeed, the temple had already endured for so long it wouldn’t be an issue to wait any longer.

Even if he had no faith in Ya Se, he still had faith in the Beast God.

After finishing dinner, tired and exhausted Ou Nisi Te bade goodnight to Ya Se before falling into a deep sleep. This kid’s growth recently had really left people speechless; to be honest Ou Nisi Te’s talent was actually not bad, though his was not very intelligent, his Beast Spirit was strong. His growth speed was also fast; though it didn’t use to be as he was malnourished. With his body’s structure being only able to each vegetable; talent could not be discussed if the body lacked strength. Of course Zou Liang’s modern training methods also helped strengthen the body.

Zou Liang closed the doors to recuperate, to adjust the situation of his body. His Beast spirit had already reached a crux through his constant tempering, only that the process was a bit slow. Zou Liang had prepared himself as not every opponent in the Beast Spirit world would have no defenses. As soon as the opposition equipped an Armour set it could boost their defense to five, however as long as he used a few martial techniques he could deal with any white grade warrior.

Entering the Beast Spirit World once again Zou Liang was as calm as could be.

In his vision was a sheet of white light; once the light dispersed, Zou Liang found himself on the arena, revealing his “good” luck once again.

Seeing the various tribes and body type warriors, Zou Liang’s demeanour was incomparably calm. One can only grasp their own fate if they had the strength to do so. In this period of time Zou Liang had changed a lot, or you could say he had become a lot more energetic, as he had integrated with this mysterious world.

His expression carrying a hint of expectation while at the same time exuding calmness.

Beast Spirit World battles were all battles to the death, however he did not have the option to lose. When one is to fight it must be even more ferocious than a lion pouncing on a rabbit.

Sweeping his gaze around, he saw a white grade warrior and a lot of people who desired to give it try. People without equipment were meat, as who wouldn’t want some extra Beast Spirit, a bit extra meant that if they were a bit short it could be used to supplement them.

There was a period of dispute, a guaranteed victory was extremely important to warriors that had not completed their armour sets.

At this moment a shout come from behind him, a white grade armour and a completed Beast Transformation warrior made their way forward. Forcefully splitting the crowd, the sudden shout came from under the arena, who was this unbridled person.

A fully equipped Tai Ge crusader walked over, the crowd settled, this was the Tai Ge Crusader who had achieved multiple, consecutive victories: Suo Luo Si 4.

He was a Tai Ge Crusader who owned a 1~5 defense armour, 1~5 defense shield, 1~5 fanged sword. In the Beast Spirit world if you wished to be recognised by others, status played no part, the only path was paved by one’s strength.

Recently in the white grade arenas a ferocious Tai Ge warrior had stood out, using his completed white grade gear, he had achieved a winning streak. 5

His name had been recognised by everyone, Suo Luo Si of the Luo Si family! 6

The warriors that followed him were his followers; as beastmen loved the brave, they loved when the strong fought even more. Suo Luo Si had repeatedly shown strength far above average in the white grade arena’s.

How did people grow?

Through Defeat!

Chinese literal translation would be erupted but in english that would mean that he blew up in anger  This means by inheritance by disciples  Chinese it would be approve but this case it mean he could not approve more thus resulting how I have translated it  The idiot who lost to Ya Se in chapter 3  Author didn’t say how much  I added in family because english has no way of expressing this sentence without it
