The Great Conqueror Chapter 113: Medal

Firstly, no matter what it was, it must be a bow, otherwise the Archers Guild would go bankrupt.           

Stanford ignored his son and came up to Arthur and asked respectfully, "What's the name of this weapon, Flamen Arthur?"           

Arthur was also astonished by Stanford, who slapped his son in front of the public and showed respect for him. Stanford was really sophisticated.            

"President Stanford, this is an evolutionary version of bow, called crossbow!"

Randolph, who saw his father’s attitude, was already too frightened to say anything.           

"It’s good to know own fault. I'm a flamen. Offending me is a little thing. But I heard that he made trouble in the Adventurers Guild and made the President Lanu stand out all night. I don't think it's good," Zou said lightly.           

Stanford scolded Zou in his heart. Offending you was nothing important? This guy was too hard-hearted and scheming in such a young age. This was obviously a trick!

"He is really wrong. I'll definitely give the president Lanu a satisfactory compensation."

Lastly, Stanford dragged Randolph's ear and kicked him when they was leaving. Of course, this was done for Arthur.           

This time, people realized the power of Flamen Arthur.            

Arthur must be the last one who anyone wanted to offend!           

The appearance of crossbow shocked the Archers Guild so much that it strongly shamed the Soul Engravers Guild.           

They claimed that the soul engraving from temple was trash, right?           

The aftermath of the buckler event was still hot. A new crossbow came as a new challenge to them too.

On the same day, Randolph went to visit Lanu to acknowledge the mistake and returned all the gifts. What was more, he stood at the door of Lanu's house all that night.           

The next day, Lanu sent ten bottles of high-class beast spirit to the temple, to Arthur, to be exact.

Nobody gave face to the Adventurers Guild, but Arthur did. Orks attached great importance to their faces. Though being a president, Lanu was a handy man in the eyes of the other professional guilds. Apologizing to a handy man was a special idea that only Zou Liang could come up with.

In Zou Liang's opinion, the Adventurers Guild was obviously more useful than the Archers Guild. Offending a branch president did not mean offending the whole Archers Guild. In such a large group of forces, the individual was insignificant and no one was important as they think.

But in terms of function, the Adventurers Guild was more important than the Archers Guild in Zou Liang's eyes, which was totally inconceivable to others. They didn’t understand why Arthur would offend the Archers Guild in order to support the Adventurers Guild.      

Because of this, the friendly relationship between Flamen Arthur and the Adventurers Guild began from this moment. When the Adventurers Guild was not taken seriously in the whole empire, someone stood out for their honor. This was undoubtedly the most precious friendship for the Adventurers Guild, which was in urgent need of getting others’ recognition.           

And it was a real offence to the Archers Guild. Lanu naturally could not imagine that the process would be so tortuous. In Lanu’s view, the success of the crossbow was inevitable, and only in order to win him a face, Arthur intentionally had a bet with Randolph.           

There were too many empty talks in these days. When the Adventurers Guild was used, they gave smiles, but they were still contemptuous in hearts. They never looked up to the Adventurers Guild. When it was not used, it was only a slave of other guilds. Lanu didn’t get his hope for Arthur up before. After all, young people were more unreliable. However, this unreliable young man stood out for the Adventurers Guild.           

It was said that Lanu was drunk that night when Randolph stood outside alone, naked to the waist, who was pointed and discussed by the servants of Lanu's family. Lanu had been president of the Adventurers Guild for more than ten years; frankly speaking, for the first time, he felt that he had the dignity of president.           

Of course, all this was based on a good relationship with the temple. As long as they were close to the temple, and maintained the status of the temple in Jerusamo (Ye Lu Samo), their status would gradually improve!           

In the past, the Adventurers Guild also wanted to rely on other forces, but the problem was that, like the professional guilds, other forces did not take them seriously at all and threw them away after they were used.

When Avril went to register, the guild served her like serving an ancestry. It was said that the crossbow shocked the head president and he even paid a personal visit to Pope. After all, such a great event could not be hidden from the Pope. The Jerusamo Temple would be in the limelight again. Randolph was sent to his uncle in Darose (Da Luo Si) by his father. He couldn’t stay in Jerusamo because Arthur suited the action to the word and beat Randolph every time they met. Stanford cared about his son. Thomas (Tuo Ma Si) turned a blind eye to Arthur’s action since he went through hardships with Arthur together. As long as this fellow didn’t burn the temple, he could do whatever he liked to do. Arthur was the best one to discipline the professional guilds.          

The Pope said that he supported all the battles that could be won, which of course was translated by other people.           

Shaman Subaru (Sibalu) also arrived. He came to issue Arthur with the Golden Thorn Medal of Holy War. He had heard about the things Arthur did on his way. He felt gratified that he did not waste his time arguing in front of the Pope. Arthur really won honors for the Holy Province.           

Subaru, accompanied by a group of flamens, presented Arthur with the Golden Thorn Medal of Holy War.           

Zou viewed it as nothing. The Pope always fooled him with this kind of thing anyway, which was not as practical as the Adventurers Guild’s gifts.
