"Mr. Jupiter, above you!" Dessa Chimes shouts as she cut down a fourth level Tricky Imp Fiend with some difficulty. She was filled with anxiety seeing such a spell for the first time, and she wasn't sure how to gauge its strength. However, Autumn Saver assured her that her master would be completely fine. The treasure spirit believed the only ones here who could threaten Mr. Jupiter were fighting in the sky above them.

This was accurate. Jodye simply didn't even glance at the attacking Junior Spirit rank Lightning Scientist. He wouldn't be afraid of this sage anyway, but due to that sage being an Earth Scientist who focused on lightning power, Jodye was unable to place him in his eyes at all. What could his lightning spells do to the little deity of thunder?

Jodye Trill already locked on to Voodoo Priest Kane Mack long ago with his divinity. This man was a peak-level expert, whether it was his sinner arts or dark sorcery they were both nearly at a 400 BP base value. The crimson atmosphere surrounding him gave away his Great Scholar rank Earth Scientist cultivation. Now that Jodye was also an earth scientist, even if he couldn't fuse his powers together, he was now able to use more than one concept at a time. Most earth scientists didn't learn how to do this until they reached the Great Scholar rank.

However, Jodye was able to do so while barely being in the Junior Spirit rank, and the reason for this was his third rank divine class spiritual source. Now that he had divine awareness, Jodye was able to use mind's lamp at will, which increased his focus and sensitivity by a ridiculous amount. Taking things a step further, with [Pharaoh's Law] equipped Jodye could have fourth rank or even fifth rank divine source if he chose. With spirit power of the fourth rank, he would be able to use glamor which could manifest charm runes in the soul seas of others using only his powerful soul.

At the fifth rank, Jodye would be able to use world sensation to allow his soul to resonate with the spiritual source of the world itself. This would make all the laws of the world feel an intimate connection with himself, bringing endless benefits.

Jodye was excited to experience such a feeling for himself, but now wasn't the time to experiment. He allowed [Pharaoh's Law] to augment his divine source to the fourth rank, and his soul pool magically expanded and split into several streams of divine power. The scarlet flames on his sword suddenly blazed even brighter as Jodye prepared to receive the incoming two-star lightning spell.

"A word, host," Trippy's voice caught Jodye's attention, "Do remember that your thunderbolt qi genesis does not need your concept to operate, you can do it with your divine spark alone."

Hearing Trippy's voice, Jodye smirked. He was still largely unfamiliar with controlling his so-called 'divine spark'. This should be the lifeblood genesis that Bilan mentioned. Jodye used its resonance with his lifeblood and galvanized his thunderbolt qi genesis making his strength immediately increase. With his current strength, his strongest attack would be even more devastating, even able to injure a real mage!

Jodye activated his three combat seeds pushing his strength up by another 105 BP and even manifested his Vajra Dragon combat soul. A dragon's roar shook the souls of the surrounding practitioners, as a six-feet-tall and thirty-two-feet-long Divine Primordial Dragon whelp coiled around Jodye. Its scales were pale golden and it had four claws. Its gargoyle-like wings were worn as a cape, as it glared menacingly at the surrounding fiends.

"Evening Storm Volley!" screamed out the young lightning sage when his spell was complete. Five one-meter long bolts of silver electric qi rained down on Jodye like a judgment from the sky.

The divine primordial dragon whelp roared and shook the consciousnesses of those in the surroundings. Jodye Trill wore his Vajra Cover as he stood completely unharmed in the aftermath of the attack. In fact, any masters powerful enough would immediately notice that Jodye seemed more energetic, and not less. It was as if he absorbed some power from the attack.

"Tch, you dare yo play with thunder in front of this little deity?" Jodye sneered at that lighting sage as he used two fingers to draw a single line of thunderbolt qi. "My thunderbolt purgatory should also be a kind of spell. Let's try to make it more complicated like one with an arcane circle…"

As he drew the line, Jodye layered some heretical origin runes on top of it, making the thunderbolt qi shine with a menacing emerald light. Jodye smiled as he had just figured something out. It turns out he could also load his divine spark with spell runes, improving the natural runic formation and making the attack more effective. Even if he didn't draw an arcane circle he could still boost this spell a bit. Around the line of electricity now existed a runic circle. It was slightly different from an arcane circle, but it functioned exactly the same. Jupiter was a Runic Master with vast experience, so it wasn't hard for him to duplicate the arcane circles once he learned more about them.

A single emerald thunderbolt struck that lightning sage at the speed of light, searing right through his body before exploding on the pack of ghouls and acolytes behind him. Calamity qi burned all the fiend qi it encountered into ash. The two charred half of the expert's body fell pitifully to the ground. Blood and flesh burst all over, as several young nobles screamed in pain and horror due to missing limbs or grave injuries. Dense tainted fiend qi blanketed the area in its smog.

"Nice," Jodye Trill was thrilled with this attack. Right now it should count as a one-star magic spell which could increase the strength of his thunderbolt qi by 50%, but what about when Jodye learned how to weave more advanced magic? Thunderbolt Purgatory would become quite a deadly weapon. After all, each progressive thunderbolt would be more powerful than the last.

"Dragon might…" Voodoo Priest Kane Mack's face finally turned solemn. He didn't seem to mind the death of his comrades too much but seeing Jodye's dragon might make him nervous. It seemed that this brat was still holding back earlier, "I don't know who sent you, little twerp, but if you leave now I won't pursue this any further. You are a little powerful, but I can see you're merely an acolyte who only knows one-star arcane formations."

If he had a choice, Kane Mack didn't want to fight someone with a true dragon soul. Especially someone who can wordlessly create such a strange arcane circle. This kid surpassed his level of understanding. The pure calamity power of dragons was a Voodoo Priest's worst nightmare, Kane Mack already felt heavily suppressed under that brat's abnormally large atmosphere.

Unfortunately for him, Jodye Trill never even acknowledged his words as the boy marveled at his newfound strength. This was the first real battle he had been in since advancing his strength. To his shock, [Pharaoh's Law] activated Jodye's dragon qi genesis and Jodye instantly felt dragon qi pouring into his spiritual meridians and back out through his astral points. His physique's base strength doubles as his body felt like it was bursting with energy.

"Dragon Might!" Jodye Trill dispersed his previous force momentum so he could build it from scratch. At this point, he was realizing that different forces could be applied in a variety of different ways. For instance, dragon qi was able to operate differently based on which heavenly energy he used to galvanize it. When he used divine source power he could create mana. When used with his origin power the strength of his qi would drastically increase. Similar to origin dragon qi, when Jodye used astral dragon qi his physical state would transform allowing him to be far tougher and more powerful. This was known as the dragon might.

"If I manage to comprehend a higher level of dragon qi, I wonder how powerful it would become?" Jodye Trill thought inwardly.

Seeing that he was being ignored, Voodoo Priest Kane Mack lost his patience. The magic pouch on his hip flashed as a combat lance appeared in his hand. The voodoo priest immediately aimed an attack at Jodye's heart! Kane Mack executed his silver grade combat art's first skill, 10,000 stabs of death.

Clank!

Lance and sword clashed dozens of times in a few seconds, causing fierce sparks and a small shockwave. Scorching hot qi assaulted Kane Mack's cheeks and he was knocked three meters back. Jodye Trill, on the other hand, fell only three steps back.

"Pretty strong," said Jodye Trill in praise. This was the first time today his sword came into contact with something that didn't feel like butter. That attack from Kane Mack just now was above 1,000 BP, or there's no way he would've only been knocked back a few meters. Hearing Jodye's nonchalant words, Kane Mack felt heavily insulted, but also incredibly wary. His nervous feeling from before had only intensified. He had to kill this punk no matter what.

"Listen up, boy. We're only here for the brats behind you." Kane Mack felt that this abnormal brat must be an outcast from some prestigious negus clan, now Sigma Octanis' side had hired him to guard here today. If that was the case, they could maybe offer him some incentive, "Don't bite off more than you can chew by being obstinate. Our White Serpent Cove could groom a talented young mercenary like yourself. You'd dominate the entire South Ward in just a few years."

"I will do so even without your White Serpent Cove," Jodye Trill replied simply as runes started condensing mid-air and vanishing into his Junior Spirit rank atmosphere. By the time Kane Mack noticed the qi vibrations caused by this, he had no idea how many runes had already formed.

"Damn it! Does this kid really know wordless incantation? He must be Sigma Octanis' true disciple!" Voodoo Priest Kane Mack looked like he had just swallowed a fly. He no longer dared to play around with this punk, Jodye. "Source Artifact: Brutal Trap! Combat soul, Fuse!"

A giant bear trap looking device covered in fate glyphs formed a four-meter perimeter around Kane Mack as two ink-black child-form serpent combat souls flew out of Kane's back before diving into his heart.

"Combat beast soul!" Jodye Trill exclaimed. It seemed that every sage warrior he encountered so far had a beast type of combat soul other than Joovee Nile. Was this only common in the south, or was it that way for all hero? He had yet to see an elemental combat soul, but he did meet Joovie Nile, who possesses a combat weapon soul shaped like a rifle and another shaped like a gavel. Jodye made a mental note for himself to confirm this matter once he got a chance.

"Great Scholar Combat Fusion!" Kane's pale skin became dark grey, and his eyes serpentine. This was a unique ability fusion type artifacts gave their wielders, combat fusion. This Earth Science realm ability allowed one to fuse with their combat soul, boosting their powers further by adapting totally to the unique traits of the combat soul. However, staying in the fused state for too long would result in soul derivation, with the worst case being that one became a fallen body due to their combat soul taking control.

This was the case unless it was a legacy fusion.

"You're done for brat!" Kane Mack hands blurred had he made produced curse seals that crawled up just arms like a plague, before being expelled from his body forming curse glyphs and fading into the ground.

"What use is a curse if the controller is dead!" Jodye Trill laughed boisterously as he vanished from his location in front of Kane Mack's senses. Jodye had finally completed his incantation, allowing his spell to activate. [Energizing Steps] was a pharaoh rank spell, meaning it grew stronger as the one casting it grew stronger, just like inherent skills. At the Earth Science Realm, Jodye will gain a boost of ten times to his speed. Ten times! Jodye was literally moving so fast he shattered the sound barrier with ease.
