Lord Clemo was talking with Princess Darlene while Don entered the gardens and surprisingly Darlene couldn't see Adria who's supposed to be Don's personal guard.

"Yes, Lord Clemo. You should meet him, here let me introduce you to him"

Seeing Darlene waving her hand, Don sighed inside and walked towards her

"Lord Clemo meet King Don and Don meet Lord Clemo, ambassador from Agoria"

"It's an honor to meet you, King Don"

Don was surprised to see Clemo genuinely smiling and reaching out his hand as Don thought the whole annulling marriage thing would make the ambassador furious and make him leave the kingdom at the first light.

"Likewise, Lord Clemo"

Don shook Clemo's hand and let go as Lord Clemo stared at Don like he's studying him

"King Don, have we met before?"

"No Lord Clemo, I don't think we met before"

"Hmm" Lord Clemo rubbed his chin as he said

" I could have sworn that I have met you somewhere, but I guess I'm wrong"

"Well Lord Clemo, I have to say that you seem like taken all this marriage thing pretty cool "

Lord Clemo laughed hearing Don as his plump cheeks moved up and down

"I'm indeed shocked King Don, but I must remain calm since my healer said stress could kill me so I've learned to take everything very cool, however..."

The smile on Clemo's face slowly faded away and replaced by a gloomy expression

"To be honest, his majesty Garren wouldn't be so happy when he hear about this King Don"

"I'm the one to blame for this Lord Cleme but I assure you that we will compensate King Garren as best as we can"

Darlene said as Lord Clemo sighed and nodded while Lord Clemo's one of the guards entered the garden 

"Lord Clemo, you carriage has arrived"

"Its seems I have to bid farewell to you both"

"Safe journey, Lord Clemo"

Darlene said and Don nodded his head without saying anything as Lord Clemo followed the guard and left the garden leaving Don and Darlene alone.

"So Princess Darlene, I assume the access key will arrive today "

"Jeez King Don, even when you are alone with a beautiful girl as me, you are talking about the business, you're no fun"

If Darlene was with another man, she would have definitely raised his heartbeat with her smile and pouting however Don didn't show a single emotion on his face as he stood cool and calm like always which made Darlene roll her eyes and answer Don's question

"I will give it to you when I get it, King Don but my father doesn't need to know about this"

"Of course"

"Where is Adria? isn't she supposed to be with you all the time? where is she?"

"I've sent her to buy some personal things, she will be back soon"

Hearing Don, Darlene imagined many things in her mind but since it was none of her business what Don do with Arrora, she nodded her head

"And about what my after asked"

"I will play along, Princess. I hope it won't bring any troubles to my doorstep after you leave the kingdom to the Cold Moon Palace"

"What a coward"

Darlene thought but didn't show what she's thinking on her face

"Don't worry King Don, I will make sure that you won't get any troubles when I'm done with you"

As she said Darlene turned back and left the gardens while Don remained calm even though he found Darlene's last words ominous.

"Honey, did Don say anything about what your father asked?"

After leaving the garden, Darlene saw Queen Bella on her way to meet her father, King Harold.

"Don't worry mother, he agreed to it"

Queen Bella sighed and let out a small smile when she heard Darlene

"Then come on let's go see your father"

As thinking Harold would be happy to hear this news Queen Bella rushed to the throne hall with her daughter.

"You seem happy, Bella"

Seeing Darlene and Bella coming towards him and the smile on Bella's face, King Harold said.

"Well Harold, Don agreed to give you what you asked"

"Just like I've guessed" Unlike Bella, King Harold didn't look surprised to hear the news but he had a devilish grin on his face

"Guessed what?"

"I told you Bella, our daughter is far more precious than his two kingdoms combined and at least he seemed to know that"

"Love is the reason Harold, they love each other so nothing would be valuable as each other for them"

"Father, we need to compensate the Agorians as soon as possible"

"I have a gift that he won't reject, Darlene"

Queen Bella had a bad feeling when she saw Harold's devilish grin growing on his face as Darlene shrugged

"Harold, what are you going to do?"

"You will know when the time comes Bella, you will know"

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY?!"

At the moment, King Garren the Agorian king's shout echoed through the throne hall when he heard about what happened in Korrinth from Lord Clemo.

"Father what happened?" hearing the furious shout, Prince Jowan rushed to the throne hall with a couple of maids following him.

"That korrinthian bastard went back on his word, they want to annul the marriage between you and Darlene"

"What!?"

Just like his father, Prince Jowan also shouted when he heard this as Lord Clemo stood there hoping that they wouldn't blame him for this.

Prince Jowan already started to brag about marrying Darlene to his friends and all the people in his circle but he couldn't even imagine his humiliation if all of them heard this news about the Korrinth king annulling the marriage.

"doesn't he have any honor? Breaking the agreement like this or did he think that we will do nothing "

The marriage between his son and Princess Darlene was supposed to be a huge deal for Agoria since she's heaven blessed talent and with her, King Garreth planned to raise his Kingdom's rank from 4 to three. King Garreth planned to declare war on many smaller kingdoms more adjacent to the Agoria like King Hedor when she reaches the grandmaster level and many smaller kingdoms would surrender without even putting up a fight because most of them wouldn't have a grandmaster with them. 

And also, the items that Darlene would get inside the ancient ruins would have been his if she's married to Jowan and that was not a trivial matter.

However now every plan that he had is destroyed by Clemo's news.

"So she's in love with Emir's King ?"

"Also the king of Everlight" Lord Clemo said in a low pitched voice so the King Garreth wouldn't turn his anger towards him

"What!?"

"Stop shouting what dammit"

King Garreth scolded Prince Jowan as he quickly shut his mouth and made his way towards Lord Clemo to ask what happened in Korrinth exactly.

While King Garreth was throwing his glass, kicking the ground, and punching the throne, Lord Clemo started to reminisce about the events that happened in Korrinth in detail to Prince Jowan.

"What if I challenge him to a duel?"

"What are you two chatting over there?"

Seeing Lord Clemo and Prince Jowan talking to each other without him able to hear, King Garreth shouted at them as Prince Jowan looked his father in the eyes and said

"What if I challenge Darlene's new lover to duel?"

Hearing Prince Jowan's idea, King Garreth stared at Lord Clemo beside Jowan to see his reaction as Lord Clemo had already understood the meaning of King Garreth's stare

"King Harold avoided talking about King Don's cultivation level when I told him about Prince Jowan reaching the great master realm, Your majesty"

"So your point being?"

"I'm not completely certain your majesty. But seeing King Harold's reaction, its either king Don is not as good as Prince Jowan or he wanted to hide King Don's cultivation level "

If the former was true,challenging him to a duel would solve King GArreth's problem since his son could beat Don but if the latter was true, he could lose his son and the chance of marrying Darlene to Jowan permanently.

"Tell the spymaster to get everything he could on Don. I want full information on him before we make any moves "

"We can also inform the royal family in the capital about King Harold breaking the agreement"

Prince Jowan suggested another idea when he thought about the same thing as King Garreth, what would happen to him if Don has a cultivation level higher than him?

However, unlike when King Garreth reacted at Jowan's first idea, he almost threw another glass at Jowan when he heard the second one 

"You idiot,those bastards at the capitol don't give a damn about rank 4 kingdoms like us. Where do think the royal family went when Hedor did all kinds of despicable deeds to expand his kingdom"

Lord Clemo nodded and agreed with King Garreth since everyone knew that the royal family in the capital or rank 1 kingdoms don't give a damn about the conflicts between rank 4 kingdoms such as this one. If not, Don couldn't have got his hands on Emir or Hedor wouldn't have done some shady shits to expand his kingdom.

Also, King Garreth knew that if he asked the other rank 4 kingdoms to interfere, all they would do is try to settle down the matter peacefully through many gatherings and talkings which could give Darlene to grow more powerful than she is now.
