'Shit! He's still alive!' Kim Shin thought as he hurriedly jumped backward without a second thought at all.

Then, when the white light fades away, Kim Shin and Victor finally managed to open their eyes again and saw a 4-meter tall white light human figure in a worn-out robe with a giant scythe as it floats in the air.

"What is that?!" Victor exclaimed in terror with his eyes froze open.

"Light Reaper!" Kim Shin yelled out, utterly surprised at the light figure before them.

'Although I had a guess earlier that this might be the light reaper. But, I still couldn't believe that I was right..' Kim Shin thought as he narrowed his eyes.

And how could he said that this is the Light Reaper?

It's because of the famous rumor he heard before.

'Light Reaper' is an immortal!

Instead of dying, the light reaper will come back to life and much stronger.

However, Kim Shin believed that 'Light Reaper' is not Immortal. Maybe it's a skill with a heavy penalty. That's why Light Reaper can't use it every time.

The light reaper unleashed an ear-splitting shout, causing Victor to cried in pain as he covered his ears with both hands.

While Kim Shin, on the other hand, didn't have any reaction to it.

Then, out of nowhere, powerful light aura exploded out of Light Reaper's body, causing shockwaves and a large crater on the ground.

While Kim Shin was warily observing the Light Reaper, a beam of light sped through him.

'Shit!' He cursed as he unhesitatingly activated his pseudo dragon body and hurriedly crossed his arms before him to defend from the sudden attack.

"Young man!" Victor loudly called out, worried about Kim Shin's condition.

'It's strong!' Kim Shin couldn't help but comment in his mind when he felt the power of the beam as he got forcefully push back. Then, he thought. 'I need to get away from this!'

Thus, without hesitation, Kim Shin forcefully jumped and did back flip in the air, causing the beam to pass over him. Nevertheless, the beam continued to shoot forward until it hit on the wall, causing a loud explosion and faintly shook the ground.

Fortunately, the beam direction was far from Victor's location.

Kim Shin's feet softly landed on the ground.

However, when he just landed on the ground, a giant light with a figure of scythe came rushing to the right side of his neck.

"Look out!" Victor loudly warned Kim Shin.

Without a pause, Kim Shin ducked his head and the giant scythe passed over him that still brought a strong gale.

"Teddy, I think you need to wake up now!" Kim Shin softly said to the pale white puppy on his head as he jumped backwards dodging the scythe that slashing on him once again.

Teddy is actually sleeping when they just got here on the 9th floor, and even with a battle that goes on, the polar bear still didn't wake up.

Magically, Teddy didn't fall from Kim Shin's head, even with Kim Shin's movements and flipping in the air.

Awoo? 'Why?' Teddy questioned, but his eyes were still close.

"Try to open your eyes and you will know! Oh, shit!" Kim Shin immediately answered as he cursed when he saw the incoming beam of light once again.

Then, without delay, Kim Shin gestured his left hand like a gun and uttered. "Air Bullet!"

Three consecutive air with a speed of bullet fire straight to the beam of light, causing a white smoke every time the air bullet collided with the beam.

Awoo! "Brother!" Teddy howled as he jumped down of Kim Shin's head with intention of blocking the incoming attack.

"No! Teddy!" Kim Shin hurriedly called out in shock with widely open eyes. He never expected that Teddy will jump down of his head.

While on the rear, Victor watched with a gaping jaw.

A deafening explosion filled the surroundings after Teddy got hit by the powerful beam of light, causing a huge white smoke of clouds that engulfed Teddy's entire figure.

"T-Teddy?" Kim Shin stammeringly muttered with moist eyes.

Then, inside the cloud of smoke, there's a flash of dark blue lightning, like an incoming storm, followed by a thunderous roar that cleared the white smoke, showing the huge polar bear with flickering dark blue aura on its body.

ROAR!

"Teddy!" Kim Shin joyously called witnessing Teddy's unharmed condition.

"I will kill you! I will kill you! I..." The Light Reaper continuously mumbled like a broken tape.

ROAR! "You dare to touch my brother?! I will kill you!" Teddy roared out and carelessly charge towards the floating Light Reaper.

"No, don't!" Kim Shin loudly shouted, hoping to stop the fast advancing Teddy.

However, despite his call, Teddy proceeds to move forward without any care at all, causing weak tremors on the ground.

Reaching the Light Reaper, Teddy released a deafening roar and threw a swift three consecutive slashes with his claws that were shrouded with electrifying aura.

Teddy's blows caused a thundering sound every time his claws landed on the Light Reaper's torso. However, the Light Reaper didn't react at all, it just stared his golden eyes on the furious polar bear.

Then, the cut that Teddy's inflicted on Light Reapers' body was immediately healed up, as if nothing happened.

'N-No way!' Teddy thought when he witnessed that his attack aren't working.

"I'll kill you! I'll kill you!" The Light Reaper who's continuously mumbling suddenly, swung his giant scythe towards the dumbfounded Teddy.

'Oh no!' Teddy thought in horror as he closed his eyes, knowing that he couldn't dodge it.

However, the pain that he's waiting for did not come. Instead, a loud sound of colliding metal filled the surroundings. He then heard a familiar voice. "What are you dazing for, Teddy?"

'Eh? Brother?!' Teddy thought. He then opened his eyes, and he saw Kim Shin before him, blocking the giant scythe, who appeared after using Blink skill.

"Arggghhh!" Kim Shin screamed out as he got pushed back by the giant scythe. He then spun in the air, shifting away from the Light Reapers attack.

BAM!

After landing on the ground, Kim Shin unhesitatingly dashed forward again as he spoke. "Teddy, run now!"

Whoosh!

Without any question, Teddy ran back towards Victor's side.

"Haaa! Air Bullet!"

The Light Reaper forced to release an aguish scream, as his glowing body became slightly dim, as if, his power were about to go down.

'His receiving damage?' Kim Shin thought quizzically as he narrowed his eyes.

'Old man, shoot any magic attack!' Kim Shin hurriedly ordered Victor in his mind.

'Wah?! Okay, I understand!' Victor immediately answered after a short pause.

Victor then pointed his magic stick to the Light Reaper and chanted. "Earth Smash!"

Crack!

A yellow-gold magic circle appeared before his black magic stick. Then, followed by a chunk of solid rock and it flew straight to Light Reaper's head.

BOOM!

Screech!

Victor accurately hit Light Reaper's head, who screeched in pain.

'Although it's faint, it obviously became dimmer...' Kim Shin thought while narrowing his eyes as, he dodged the scythe.

Boom!

The ground shook heavily when the scythe pierced on the ground, causing a huge cloud of dust.

'Continue attacking, old man!' He commanded.

'Roger!' Victor responded. He then quickly shoot another magic attack. "Earth Smash!"

Kim Shin also didn't idle, he followed Victor's attack with Air Bullet as he evaded every attack that the Light Reaper threw.

After several minutes of firing magic, the glowing light body of Light Reaper obviously dimmed by half.

'We can do it!' Victor thought happily. Feeling satisfied that he's able to help Kim Shin for the first time.

Then, after a few moments, the Light Reaper eventually fell on the ground, changing back to its original form with an unknown condition.

"Huff! Huff! We finally did it!" Victor exclaimed as he gasped for air, obviously exhausted by the continuous firing magic.

"Yes, you're right..." Kim Shin softly answered.

Awoo! 'Brother!' Teddy called out as he dashed towards Kim Shin.

"Hahaha. I'm glad your safe, Teddy!" Kim Shin spoke while he caressed Teddy's neck.

"You also scared me to death that time, Teddy!" Victor interjected.

Teddy silently stared at the hunch back old man. Then, after a few seconds, he ran to Victor and licked the old man's wrinkled face.

Awoo! 'Sorry!'

"AH! Stop, Teddy!" Victor complained. He then continued. "H-Help me, young man!"

However, Kim Shin didn't help the poor Victor. But, instead, he laughed at the old man misery. "Hahahaha!"

Amidst their happy conversation, an arrogant voice echoed out. "Bravo! You guys really took down that scary wimpy!" Followed up with loud applause.

Clap! Clap! Clap!

"I thought I would regret killing his uncles after his sudden change in strength. However, you guys took down that kid for me. Thank you very much!" The arrogant man said.

Kim Shin and others looked far ahead, where the Light Reaper is lying, and they found a long black-haired man, seems like in his twenties. Clad in heavy steel armor and armed with a two-handed steel sword.

Behind him, where two more guys, dressed in a maroon robe and the other one is clad in silver light armor.

Seeing this, Kim Shin sharply stared at the trio as he spoke grimly. "So you guys are the reason why Clay became like that eh?!"

"Yeah, we are. That's why we're very grateful at you guys for killing that wimpy kid for us! Hahaha." The man in the robe spoke arrogantly and laughed like a madman.

"Yo—..." Kim Shin who's about to speak suddenly, stop and looked towards the lying Clay.

'He's still not dead?' Kim Shin thought when he saw Clay twitching on the ground.

"Hence, to show how grateful we are, we will give you a compensation gift!" The long black-haired man said.

"We don't need that!" Victor loudly answered.

"Of course, you need it!" The black-haired man replied. Then, he continued with a smile. "Boys!"

The two men behind him began to unsheathed their weapons.

"Kill them! This is our gift! We will let you guys follow that wimpy kid in hell! Hahahaha." The long black-haired man announced, and the two men behind him immediately advance forward.

"Young man, what should we do?" Victor questioned Kim Shin.

"Nothing." Kim Shin simply answered.

"Huh? Why?" Victor confusedly asked. Feeling puzzled at Kim Shin's answer.

"Because we don't need to." Kim Shin mysteriously answered.

"Huh—?" Victor still couldn't understand Kim Shin meaning, until he saw the lying Clay slowly and shakily stood up.

"I've finally found you three rats!!!" Clay eerie voice filled the surroundings.
