He Bai sighed and explained in detail, "After you have left, Saint Elephant became more and more chaotic. Ma Xingtong was not reliable and he left Saint Elephant with Ma Qun since his reputation was damaged. It was said that he went to a different province and opened his own photography studio to stay away from the circle in B city. Later on, there was something bad happening to the boss, so he sold Saint Elephant off directly." He didn't mention that the boss of Saint Elephant once tried to set him up but failed, cause he didn't want Li Ru to feel worse.

"How dare he to sell it..." Li Ru bent down to lean on the chair. She took a long breath after staying shocked for a while, then she looked at the teacup and shook her head with a bitter smile, "I knew that guy wouldn't keep Saint Elephant safe, but I have never expected that he would sell it off directly...never mind, it's even better that he sold it off. I wouldn't feel relieved if Saint Elephant was still under his control. Then who took Saint Elephant? Do you know that?"

He Bai saw that she had already put herself together quickly, so he didn't say anything comforting her but replied, "It was already after two turns, and the boss of Red Guest Photography just bought it and I guess he won't sell it out again."

"Red Guest?" Li Ru felt a bit surprised yet her face looked better, "It's not bad that Red Guest took it. Although their boss is quite young, he's got background and connections, so Saint Elephant can still be well managed under his control."

She stopped for a bit and smiled again. Then she looked at He Bai and said, "Let's forget about that...well, boss, now I am your assistant. May I ask about your next working schedule? I can no longer wait to earn money from you."

It just felt so strange to be called boss from your former employer, but He Bai tried to calm down from that tiny uncomfortable feeling and took out his phone to open his email. He found out those massive invitation letters he had received these days and passed it to her, saying, "Sis Li, please just call me Little He. It just feels so weird to be called boss. Li Ru grabbed a piece of cake and pointed at a line of tiny characters under the invitation letter to explain, "Yi Jie from Bai Xiu is an established celebrity who has been loved by the audience. Yet she doesn't really have any awards, so she has always been dwarfed by Zhu Shuxue. And now it is almost the end of the year, so those big award ceremonies are in their preparation. Yi Jie has a hot movie this year and she is the front runner of the best actress. I've heard that many big brands have fancied her and they are going to talk about the endorsement with her."

He Bai was so shocked about how well she understood the showbiz.

"Surprised? It is just basic preparation for a jobseeker to know something about the working environment of your employer before applying for a job." Li Ru made fun of him as she noticed his astonishment. Then she got rid of those cake scraps and continued to explain to him, "The  MAG APP doesn't limit its pages like the paper version, so it has more contents than the paper ones. Therefore, the personal interview that takes the majority of the content will have at least one more page space than the paper version. But the actor only has limited time for the interview, so the actual content to be published is also limited. What if there is nothing to be published? They put pictures on it. If I didn't count the time wrong, the publishing time of this online magazine would be right the same as the time of the award ceremony which Yi Jie could win. Thanks to those marketing accounts, the personal interview would be all over the internet at that time, and that would be very helpful for expanding your reputation."

He Bai managed to restrain his surprise and fell into his own thoughts.

Seeing that he had heard what she said, Li Ru felt more and more comfortable and said again, "The shooting offer from Zhu Shuxue is just a normal personal photograph, and it won't last long after a piece of short news bragging about her beauty. So it won't have subsequent influence like this one, that's why I suggest we choose this one. Li Ru was amused to smile and took the email address and the password. She poured some tea for him and said, "Thanks for your trust, boss."

Settling down the work for the next step, He Bai forgot about buying an apartment immediately as he started to prepare for his new work. Taking pictures for a personal interview was totally different from taking pictures for a portrait or a magazine cover, as it asked for natural and effortless, but you couldn't take it for granted. Natural and effortless meant that the person should be beautiful but not in a forced way. It should look so pretty on a snap. In a word, it's like bragging in a low key, to hide all of your minds under a daily cover.

This was a fun job. He Bai had taken many big shootings, so he found it hard to change his mind. In order to adjust himself better, he went back to the life when he spent all of his time staying out all day looking for inspirations.

On the day of the personal interview, He Bai went to the interview place quite early with Li Ru. After a short greeting with the person in charge, Li Ru was left to talk and He Bai went to the lounge for Yi Jie with the staff, then he and the anchor started to communicate with Yi Jie for the first step.
