No Matter How Long Time Passes, I Still Love You Chapter 62: Going to Chen Corps

Chen Mu's office was spacious with bullet proof glass windows and green plants by the window. One look and one could tell much he cared for the plants. He has his own office space, a relaxing area for lunch, private bathroom, and another room for him to rest in if he gets tired.

Susu smiled upon entering his office. She could tell that he took good care of himself. When she looked around, she could imagine him sipping his drink while looking at the sunset and working while scratching his head from frustration.

Small giggles escaped her mouth when she imagined little things that he might have done in his office. "Want to share your silly thoughts?" He locked the doors from behind and wrapped her up in his embrace.

"How do you know I wasn't thinking of somebody else? Hmmm?" She turned around and reciprocated the hug while letting out soft laughs. He bent down slightly and brushed his nose against hers a few times, "Because I'm the worm in your stomach. I know everything about you."

"Uh huuuuh, get your butt to work. If I become a distraction to your work then I won't come to visit after this." She playfully pinched his ears and moved his head to the left and right before giving him a kiss to encourage him to work.

"Mmmm. I'll get my ass to work and what about you? Do you want to use my laptop? Or would you like a drink?"

"I'll use your laptop, but no need for a drink. I'm feeling bloated from the Passionfruit tea already." She rubbed her tummy and walked to the couch. He walked over to her with his laptop and said, "Ah, right. I forgot to tell you that my Passionfruit tea does taste the best. Especially the one I made this morning." He licked his lips.

"Huh? But you didn't even drin-... You.. you go back to work!" She blushed, recalling that kiss from earlier. 'He didn't drink the tea! It was from that kiss!'

On the way to his desk, Chen Mu unlocked the door from the inside. For the next few hours, Susu worked on designing products and would once in a while take a few peeks at him. Chen Mu was busy dealing with important projects that he worked nonstop.

As mouse clicks and keyboard typing sounds filled the room, the girl's eyes started to weigh heavier and soon, she found herself a comfortable spot to take a nap. Although he had a lot of work in hand, he would still take a few glances between his work to make sure she didn't need anything. When he looked up again, he saw the sleeping beauty on his couch.

Quietly, he asked his assistant to bring him a blanket and stayed by her side while she slept soundly. To avoid any disturbances, he left the door opened slightly for his assistant to bring in the blanket. The moment he heard a creak coming from the door, he stood up and walked over to retrieve the blanket with a finger against his lips.

Understanding his meaning, the assistant closed the door and went back to his seat without making any noises. Two female employees started whispering to each other as soon as they saw the assistant going back to his seat.

Female employee 1: "Did you see that? The smile on his face! I've never seen him smile like that before! He always put on a straight face!"

Female Employee 2: "That must have been his girlfriend! Wow! I saw her earlier and she looked so pretty! To make someone like our boss smile like that, she must be super special!"

Chen Mu's assistant cleared his throat and placed a finger on his lips. Instantly, the two female employees shut their mouths and continued their work. At this time, Chen Mu had already placed the blanket over Susu and went back to work.

- Yin residence-

Karen woke up to the horrible news about Chen Corps and Yin Corps. She knew how important Chen family's support was to their family. Now that the support is gone, they might end up bankrupt! Quickly, she dialed Tian Yuo's number and asked him for help.

The second Tian Yuo picked up the call, Karen's rasped voice played pitifully over the phone, "Brother Yuo... Please help! Help Yin corps! Chen Mu probably did this as revenge to us! For that dinner. It was all Susu's fault, but you two are best friends right? If you put in a few good words maybe, maybe we could turn the situation around."

Tian Yuo remained quiet on the other side of the call, making Karen feel unsettled, "Hello? Brother Yuo? Are you listening to me? I said for you to help us out and asking Chen Mu to take back his decision."

Tian Yuo sighed in response, "Are you calling me because of this matter? If that's it then sorry, I can't help you. You should understand that the decisions made are between Chen and Yin Corps. I have no right to interfere with this. Even if it is between Tian and Yin Corps, if the cost exceeds the benefits, I would still terminate the contracts. Do you understand?"

Karen bit her lips, "Brother Yuo! You don't know if you don't try. This could save my family. Please. Please just try it!"

Tian Yuo shook his head, "If you don't understand then I can't do anything else. Look for me after you calm down and not for this. I have a lot fo work to do, so I'll hang up now. Bye."

Beep

"Hello? Hello?!! Brother Yuo!!!" Karen looked at the black screen and gritted her teeth. "Susu! Susu! How come you are so lucky to get Chen Mu by your side? I've tried to get close to him, but he would only look at you. So I was more than determined to take Tian Yuo from you. Now that I did, you end up with Chen Mu! Argh!!! And now this family is a mess because of the Chen's!!! Why do you always take everything that I want?!"

Zin Leung said in an agitated voice, "Karen, get dressed. We're going to Chen Corps. If we apologize, the Chen's might take back their decision. You have fifteen minutes."
