My Queen Of Terra 68 THREE HOURS COUNTDOWN

"Good morning, sunshine!" Zoe stretched her shapely arms and twitched her lovely lips upward. She just sat up from her bed with her comforter still on half of her body. 

She is only wearing a shirt with ruffled short sleeves and pajamas. Her lovely mane was tousled all over her shoulders. But she still looked as if she was a fashion model.

"How to be you, please," Erin muttered beside her in a sullen tone. In a quick motion, Zoe shifted her head and glanced her way. 

Her eyes were droopy and wearing black bags underneath it. Death must have painted her lips as it twitched downward. Her fringes were put high up in a ponytail, but it's now loosely tied with a pencil stuck on it. 

"Dear me, you look like a mother of twelve naughty children!" In a flash, Zoe jumped from her bed to her companion and removed the elastic band from her hairpiece. She quickly braided it with her deft hands and chatted with her as she did so.

"I thought you're already taking your beauty sleep last night." She inquired as she twisted her locks. Erin was still holding files with her other hand while the other was holding a pen. 

"Is two hours considered as sleep?" She breathed out a deep sigh. "Some investors backed out. I need to make revisions to make our tournament as enjoyable as it was even at a lesser expense. I have to stay up all night."

"Why didn't you wake me up?" Zoe responded. She twisted her body to check her creation. She smiled approvingly. But she frowned as she noticed her haggard face.

"Humph! This will not do," she uttered as she dragged her arm to the restroom. 

Erin obliged and straggled with her like a Zombie. "You're already snoring after I woke up from my nap. I know you've been through a terrible rendezvous. I don't want to destroy your rejuvenating moment. You have a lot more upcoming in the competition, you know." She smiled as she explained away. 

"You wish. I may participate, but I told you I would have my own set of rules for myself." Zoe answered confidently. She opened the faucet, so Erin could splash her face with some cold water. 

Erin did so and looked in a mirror. "Wow, it feels heavenly." She peered behind to where Zoe is and made her excited to join her show. "Don't worry, I know you'll love it. You would regret not being a part of it." She beamed at her. 

Zoe threw the face towel at her. "Tell me again after it ends. Let's wing it. I noticed there was a salon near here. You don't want Azra to see you in that state, right?" Zoe winked at her before leaving her and having a quick fix-up herself.

Erin's eyes widened at the mention of his name. "Oh my, why didn't you remind me sooner? I almost forgot that I invited them. I should've taken my beauty rest and just let the whole thing run as it wants. 

"Will I be surprised? So having a boyfriend is more important than reputation now?" Zoe teased her as she changed her clothes. She knew how important her influence is to her ever since their high school days. 

"Of course not! Why choose between the two if you can have both?" Erin pealed into laughter."How about you? Would you choose the red prince or the boy next door tour guide? Or both?" She bolstered at her. 

Zoe grabbed the nearest pillow near her and threw it at Erin, who just hollered more.

Zoe mused about what she said as she put her important stuff in her bag before heading out. Her body was screaming for Raigon's charm and protective instinct for her. But it seemed that he had no plans to have a serious relationship as he distanced his private life away from her.

Meanwhile, Koby had this mysterious connection with Lady Zhou. But he was more open with her. Maybe he would tell her more about it if she would only ask him. He seemed like a more realistic candidate to pursue a long-term relationship. 

Or maybe she was being ahead of herself. Because not one of the two was being direct when it comes to their emotion for her. If they have one. 

She just decided to let it pass. They both exited the hotel and went to the nearest salon, the Howe About Hair.

Erin chose the hair and makeup service. The stylist massaged her head before styling her hair. "Ah, this is so relaxing." She closed her eyes and felt the weight lifting off her brain.

On the other hand, Zoe chose the foot spa service. Her feet and leg muscles get sore from their walk yesterday as she was not used to walking a lot.

Erin checked her clock. It was only three hours away before the main play down. She glanced at her and smiled.

"Are you ready for your ultimate conquest?" She asked her away. She knew Zoe was in for a big battle. But she wanted her to finally move on and overcome her fear.

Zoe recalled her dreadful moments during high school. And her recent encounter with Savannah. The corner of her lovely lips twitched upward as she exclaimed.

"Let the fun begin!" Zoe clenched her fist and threw it in the air.
