The gentle knocking sound startled Zhang Haojing. The psychic paranormal from the next room hadn't reacted, and the two guards outside had not informed him about a sudden visit, so Zhang Haojing felt a little nervous. He took a deep breath and calmed down, thinking that he was too alerted. Even a knocking sound on the door could make him feel nervous now.

"Who?" asked the woman while walking toward the door. The moment the woman opened the door, she was stunned.

At the same time, Zhang Haojing felt as if his head had been pinned down by a strange force. His cry for help was stuck in his throat.

Zhang Haojing vaguely saw Jiang Zhuying and Ling, who was holding the woman captive, entering and closing the door gently. Then, he turned his head and saw Jiang Liushi's cold muzzle aiming his head, which caused his body to turn stiff.

Even before forming enmity with the Shi Ying Squad, Zhang Haojing was not their opponent. But only now that Zhang Haojing had torn all pretenses, did he realize that he had far underestimate Shi Ying Squad's strength and means. "Why should I tell you? If I tell you, will you let me go?" asked Zhang Haojing in return. He was not stupid at all. He knew it was useless to beg for mercy.

"If you kill me, you won't live for much longer either. Your end won't be better than mine," said Zhang Haojing wickedly. As soon as he thought of Jiang Liushi's end, Zhang Haojing felt a surge of happiness coursing through his heart. Even the fear of death had considerably been reduced.

"I have nothing to do with this! Please! Don't kill me!" cried the woman suddenly. However, she didn't dare to shout.

Zhang Haojing was annoyed and stared at her with bloodshot eyes.

Jiang Liushi turned to look at that woman, asking, "Tell me, what do you know?"

"You f*cking b*tch! Shu*t up! Don't you dare to betray-" Zhang Haojing's voice was loud, but it came to an abrupt stop as an electrical current coursed through his body. He began to shake violently, and his voice died away at once. The great pain of the electric shock made him fall to the bed.

As the woman witnessed Zhang Haojing's eyeballs almost popping out of his head and the violent convulsions, she was horrified, and her body trembled uncontrollably.

Jiang Zhuying had a wide smile on her face while playing with an electrical ring on her finger. The current was like an obedient pet before her. She had heard from Ran Xiyu all the despicable things Zhang Haojing had committed in the past, and she also believed he was a scoundrel. As a result, she had long decided to punish the wicked man. 

Jiang Liushi looked at the woman again and said, "Talk." He believed that the reason Zhang Haojing had dared to act boldly was that he had a strong backer.

"After Haojing returned, he told everything he knew about you to a man, He also told him about Ran Xiyu. Unfortunately, I don't know who that person is. "B*tch!" Zhang Haijing squeezed out the word.

"Why are you cussing!? I'm telling the truth!" said his wife.

"Since you betrayed Zhang Haojing, how could I believe that you won't dare to betray me too?" asked Jiang Liushi.

"I…I swear that I won't say anything to anyone!" said the woman nervously.

Jiang Liushi kept silent and looked at her patiently.

However, the woman no longer being able to handle the pressure, suddenly screamed and tried to run at the door. "Help!"

At that moment, she felt a hot liquid spurting out of her neck. Her shouting turned to a hoarse voice until no sound could come out of her throat. The woman held her neck and opened her eyes widely. After realizing what had happened, she collapsed on the floor, and her body twitched slightly. Not long after, she let her last breath.

"What a stupid woman…" whispered Zhang Haojing. His wife was indeed a person who could keep secrets.

As Jiang Liushi had been staring at her a wave of guilt had struck her. If not for that, how could she have lost her mind and behave as if she was seeking for death?

"This is your last chance. Who is that person? If you answer, I'll give you a quick and painless death," said Jiang Liushi.

Zhang Haojing's was covered in sweat after hearing that. He was already in extreme pain, and if he hesitated, Jiang Zhuying would immediately release another electrical current in his body.

"You'd better think about it carefully. As a paranormal, you have an enhanced body, which means that you can withstand this torture at least for an hour. By the time we're finished with you, your skin and all of your organs will have been burned…I bet it will be a tormenting experience," said Jiang Zhuying. Presently, she could control her electrical power perfectly.

"Well, I guess I should give you a taste," added Jiang Zhuying with a smile. No matter who they may be, as long as someone wanted to hurt her brother, Jiang Zhuying would punish them severely.

Jiang Zhuying released another electrical current on Zhang Haojing's body. The current started coursing through his head all the way down to the toes. His eyeballs almost burst while his skin turned red, giving off a burnt smell.

"Paralysis…severe pain…high blood pressure…difficulty in breathing…I will give you a taste of all of them," said Jiang Zhuying. Every time she said a word, she would also shock Zhang Haojing's body.

After boarding the minibus, Jiang Liushi inhaled deeply.

Ran Xiyu opened her eyes and looked at them, saying, "Thank you all."
