Upon seeing the bat crashing against the ground, Jiang Liushi was also startled as he didn't expect that the gunshot would be that powerful . The blue energy had increased the bullet's speed fivefold . As a known fact, the power of the bullet was proportional to the square of the speed . In layman's words, the bullet was 20 times stronger and coupled with the already potent blue energy, its destructiveness had surpassed all expectations .

Three bats remained, and Jiang Liushi was ready to shoot them down one by one . Wen Tian's gun was a Barrett M99, also known as Big Shot, which was a single-shot long-range precision rifle . Although its fire rate was slower than other sniper rifles, the loss of power after the gunpowder's ignition was removed, maximizing the bullet's power .  Moreover, its barrel was longer than the M82, which allowed it to shoot further .

For Jiang Liushi the Barrett M99's slower speed rate was not a drawback . Instead, it had turned into a benefit .

The remaining three bats flying in the sky screeched, and the two healthy bats released the injured one . Then, they flew in separate directions, and their throats began vibrating at high frequencies .

Jiang Liushi jumped without any hesitation as ultrasonic waves, which were way more violent than earlier, cut through the air and destroyed the place where he was originally standing . Jiang Liushi somersaulted in the air and upon descending he shot without aiming .

Another blue-colored shot tore through the sky followed by a booming sound!

This time the armor-piercing bullet pierced the bat's head, turned its brain into a mousse and made its skull protrude from the back of its head . The bat's lifeless body fell heavily on the ground at once .  

The two remaining bats fell into a panic and struggled to run away .

'They want to escape? They wish!' How could Jiang Liushi allow them to flee? He immediately adjusted the sniper rifle's angle and pulled the trigger, killing the third bat . Five seconds later, another booming gunshot echoed, and the last bat was killed!

The two giant bats crashed against the ground one after the other, creating mini craters on the ground . Four headshots were all it had taken Jiang Liushi to bring them down!

Every member of Long Teng was rendered speechless by Jiang Liushi's heroic conduct . It had never crossed their minds that Jiang Liushi would have such an easy time killing the fierce-looking and mighty Kamikaze Beasts . Against the Kamikaze Beasts, Wen Tian's marksmanship, as well as RPG-rockets had no effect . But Jiang Liushi with Wen Tian's sniper rifle was like a hunter shooting down mere birds instead of mutant beasts .  

Jiang Cheng stared at the Barrett M99 in Jiang Liushi's hands intensely, and he couldn't help but remember of a scientific weapon he had heard about – the Gauss rifle! 

In theory, the Gauss rifle, or coilgun, could accelerate a conducting projectile with the help of electromagnets to high velocity . After long-distance acceleration, it would gain super power . Probably only the Gauss rifle could shoot such a destructive bullet .

In everyone's mind, Jiang Liushi had a rare super ability that could enhance the bullets' power . Moreover, he could shoot without taking aim . They all looked at Jiang Liushi in amazement, thinking that he was a one-man army .  

"My dear brother, you are unbeatable!" said Jiang Zhuying excitedly while walking toward him quickly to check whether he was alright . "Brother, did you use the blue energy?" asked Jiang Zhuying curiously .

Jiang Liushi nodded . The four shots had depleted his energy reserves, but fortunately, he killed all the bats .

Jiang Liushi sighed and said, "Fortunately, I absorbed the pangolin's mutant nucleus, which increased the amount of energy in my body . If not for it, it would be impossible for me to kill them in such a short time . " Meanwhile, Jiang Liushi realized that he had to improve hive his abilities as soon as possible .

"Zhuying let Jiang Cheng in charge of clearing the battlefield . I want the mutant bats' four nuclei, as for their meat we don't need it . They can have it," added Jiang Liushi .

Although bat meat was considered a delicacy in Asia and the Pacific Rim, Jiang Liushi was not interested in giving it a try . He preferred getting more of the pangolin's meat instead . It had to be known that before the end of the world, nobody was allowed to eat the meat of pangolins . However, now that rules and laws were a thing of the past, all those limitations were gone .  

"I will deal with him," said Jiang Liushi while walking toward Xia Mei's brother .

After witnessing the eye-opening battle, the Sword Club's members were terror-stricken . They had lost all hope and courage to fight . Xia Mei's brother was so scared that his body was trembling involuntarily . Initially, he had fantasized of the Kamikaze Beasts obliterating Long Teng, so never expected for Jiang Liushi killing them, and effortlessly at that, instead .  

As Jiang Liushi was approaching him, Xia Mei's brother wore a maniacal expression . The latter clearly knew that the Devil's incarnate would not spare him . Jiang Liushi had shattered his dream and trampled on his honor . Ever since Jiang Liushi castrated him, Xia Mei's brother lost his will to live . Coupled with his current precarious situation, Xia Mei's pulled a tantō without the slightest hesitation . He wanted to commit suicide by disembowelment, also known as seppuku .  

Unfortunately for him, at that very moment, Jiang Liushi shot him . The Barrett's bullet penetrated the young man's body as if was made of thin paper, and it struck his spine, cutting it in two!

Generally speaking, sniper rifles could split a human's body in half depending on the conditions . However, the Barrett's sharp armor-piercing bullet was different . It traversed through the young man's body directly, leaving a nasty bloody hole, which caused the poor fellow to cry in pain and wish to have died instead .

The young man's body was twitching in pain, while his eyes were fixed on Jiang Liushi . He did not resent the fact that he was utterly defeated, but he wanted to ask Jiang Liushi why he didn't allow him to commit suicide honorably .

In feudal Japan, seppuku and harkiri were the noblest ways for samurais to commit suicide . However, in Jiang Liushi's eyes, the young man was not a noble samurai but a scumbag . Therefore, he couldn't let him commit suicide in such a dignified way .

"That's your punishment . You deserve it . "
