Jiao Qi feels that he can no longer indulge his husband, or he will become even more foolish. He put down his chopsticks and blurted out, “I won't eat. I don't like to eat salt and pepper spare ribs.”

Jiao Qi paid no attention to him. He left the dining table and went to the refrigerator to find some snacks.

He carried some pastries and went over to sit on the sofa. He plans on eating those pastries while working on his emails. Jiao Qi's work efficiency is high. The matters in Bajiao at daytime have been dealt with. Usually in the evening, he was only casually taking a look if there's any emergency email that needs his immediate attention.

Director Liang seems to be working overtime for he sent a new email three minutes ago. The TV anchor of ‘Feeding the Dog with Good Intention' has confirmed that he will no longer renew his contract. The matters following the non-renewal of contract will be turned over to other departments for processing tomorrow.

The poaching of ‘Demon King' has progressed, and Director Liang will be going to the meet the other party for an interview tomorrow.

After replying “good” to Director Liang's email, he switched to Zhang Chenfei's mailbox. Jiao Qi looked through the emails relating to Shi Fei Technology. He picked a pastry from the table and took a bite. The pastry was cold and hard and the taste was terrible, so he had to drink hot tea to warm it up.

One of the videos was marked with red at the end and when he looked at it closely, it was Gou Xin. “How can such thing be told to others?!” Gao Shiqing suddenly raised his tone, then immediately realized what he did and quickly shut up.

Fortunately, Jiao Qi did not investigate in detail and simply replied with a single line “got it” and then hung up the phone. Gao Shiqing stared at the black screen of his smart brain. He scratched his head in puzzlement and just heaved a deep sigh.

“Oh, big brother Fei, you said you can handle this matter!” President Gao is fortunate enough that he is living in the highly developed 21st century. Jiao Qi hung up the phone, drooped his head and contemplated on the matter once more. He picked up a small piece of blueberry cake and sent it to his mouth. The sweet cream instantly made him frown, and he had no choice but to put it back on the plate.

In the past, Zhangda Diao never cooked at home. After all, in the family, there were cooks and aunts to prepare food for them and sometimes, they would also eat outside. But whenever Zhang goes to the kitchen, he always cooks the dish that he loves to eat. In order to assure that his stomach is well, he would still add some soup that he dislikes, but the main course will certainly be something that he absolutely likes to eat.

It was only at this time that he realized that he had not noticed these little details  in the past, on how much fine love they actually had.

At the other side, the angry president-daren went to the balcony and smoked a cigarette. When he came back, he saw that his lovely little wife, who looked liked he's been wronged, is quietly nesting on the sofa and he felt distressed seeing him like that. This side of him that refused to eat just to throw a tantrum, makes him resemble Yanyan more. On the surface, his face is cold and cheerless like a flower of Gaoling, but his mouth is unconsciously pursed up slightly. Ordinary people wouldn't notice it without carefully looking at him, but he looks at this face every day so only he can see it at a glance.

He walked forward for two or three steps and sat down next to his lovely little wife, and turned his head to the side to lightly peck on that good-looking mouth before saying, “What do you want to eat? I will prepare it for you.”

Honestly, I feel bad about it. I am aware that any registered user in NU could create edits to any of the novel's details except for the title, but personally, I believe that the image and description should only be left exclusively for the person who uploaded the novel translation in NU to edit. Should anybody wants to create such major edits, it should be a basic courtesy to let the translator know.

For any translation that I create, I always use the image from the novel's original website publication because for me, that's one way of showing “basic courtesy” to the author and his/her publisher.

I am sorry for the rant but I really have to let this out. This may just be a small matter to others but for me, this is a big deal. Seeing a different image in NU irritates me.

Therefore, I have decided that after chapter 12 is released and the image does not change back to the original, I will discontinue updating this novel in NU. With that being said, please follow TnL or subscribe through email for future updates.
