Prim was a bit hesitant to receive the rose.

“I wish you could be more friendly.” (Prim)

Prim said as she smiled again.

At the time, she had no idea why her smile hurt Reynsis's eyes. She didn't even know what waves of thoughts were blowing in his mind.

‘I will give back the rainbow that I took away from you.'

Even today, Prim stood in front of  a heavy set of doors. She knocked once and pushed it open.

“Greetings, Your Highness! Good morning.”

Prim approached him with a big smile. Reynsis glanced at her, then returned to staring at the book.

At first glance, it seemed like he was ignoring her, but Prim was skeptical about something. After coming back from the temple, he became softer than usual.

“Oh my! They served it today too!” (Prim)

The proof that he became softer is that, nearly every day, the servants serve a strawberry tarte for them.

Prim nodded and smiled.

Prim smiled as she started to eat the tarte.

The sweet syrup mixed with the strawberries are a good combination along with the soft whipped cream too.1

Happiness was filled on her face.

Reynsis's gaze from the book was now on Prim.

‘Is the tarte really that good?'

Eating the same menu for a few days might get boring, but Prim had a happy face every day.

It was worth for him to prepare for it despite the embarrassment.

Without realizing, Reynsis was staring at her too much. He pretended not to be interested while holding his chin. Then he spoke,

Prim's mouth was full of whip cream and strawberries as she tilted her head. There was a cream near her lips.1

Reynsis gently swiped the book's page with his thumb. It was as if he imagined himself to wipe the cream on her face.6

After swallowing the rest of the tarte, Prim nodded in confidence.

Reynsis acted indifferent as he turned to his poetry book again.

Prim's hand, which was moving to pick up the remaining tart, suddenly stopped in the air.

Prim poked her cheeks in surprise.

Prim closed her mouth with a look of emotion. She couldn't control her joy.

The door opened as soon as the permission was given.

It was Marian who visited them.

Marian handed over something in her hand. It was a parchment which was made with very good material.

With a grumpy look, Reynsis accepted the parchment.  As he unpacked the ribbon and read the letter. Then he looked at Prim with a hesitated face.

“The rumours are true?”

Marian asked. Reyn picked the parchment and put it on the table.

“Mmm.” (Reynsis)

Marian was full of joy at that moment.

“Finally! You're finally going! Oh my!” (Marian)

Prim was curious to see his reaction.

She looked at the parchment as if it was a hint for her. She opened it without his permission, but Reynsis didn't stop her either.1

“This..” (Prim)

A note on the parchment said the prince would be allowed to visit the 7th Princess's birthday party in a few days.

It was even stamped with a royal seal, as if it was a letter from the Emperor himself.

Prim was a bit confused.

She was sure that he had received an invitation a few days ago. So, why was he so focused in class?

(Note: she thought that he had received an invitation before telling her, so that's why he was so focused in class, but in reality, he didn't receive any invitation yet. The reason he was focused is bcs he wanted to get to know Prim much closer.)1

Prim looked at the Reyn and made eye contact with him. Unlike Prim who had a confused face, he was still expressionless.1

“Is there a problem?” (Reynsis)

Prim shook her head while still confused.

“No, I just wonder why the invitation arrived just now. I'm sure Your Highness said…” (Prim)

“It's just a letter, that's all.” (Reynsis)

He said firmly.

Is that so? Prim rubbed her temples. She couldn't get rid of the uncomfortable feeling. It's the feeling like you don't know something.

“It's not the time for this, Prim!”

Marian crushed her thoughts when she spoke.

“There's so much to prepare. Help me!” (Marian)

“What? What preparation?” (Prim)

“You better get ready! You should go with me!” (Reynsis)1

“Me?” (Prim)

Prim asked back in surprise. Reynsis turned to her.

“You're not going with me?” (Reynsis)1

“No, no. Of course I'm going —” (Prim)

Even if Marian or Reynsis didn't ask for her attendance at the party, she was willing to go there no matter what.

‘Because the Beauty might be there.'

She would stick right next to  Reyn and never fall off. She was going to look for the Beauty with her eyes peeled.

Come to think of it, Elena, the beauty candidate she had picked was also invited. It will be a good opportunity to introduce the two naturally.

‘Of course Daphs will interfere but…'

Prim recalled when she was dragging Elena away from Daphs.

“Beauty?” (Marina)

Marian snorted while Reynsis just shook his head as if he was lazy to talk to her about that issue.1

(Reyn) “..Whatever you say.”

(Prim) “Just trust me, Beast!”

(Marian) “B-beast?”

(Prim) “Ops… heh heh…Looks like the cat is out of the bag*…Umm, that's what I nicknamed him. Yeah!”
