I'll Become the Tyrant's Tutor Chapter 16

──────⊱◈◈◈⊰──────

“You can't hold a pencil like that. Repeat it again.”

“No, this is how I was taught in my hometown.”

“It is a different method in the Empire! This is the basics! “

“…”

“Again.”

Prim was literally crying as she tried to paint with the pencil.

Elena was kind and soft. This is what Prim had observed in a few days.

But when she taught Prim about drawing, she became a completely mature person. She was reliable as if she has a double personality.

The flashing red eyes often caught Prim's attention.

‘I will make sure to find the Beauty.'

The art class, which had been continued endlessly, finally ended only after the sunset.

Prim organised her arts equipment

Suddenly, Elena looks at Prim's dress and stares. Prim's eyes followed her gaze.

“Your dress is….”

The coloured oil used to paint accidentally stained her dress. The red colored stain was unlikely to be hard to remove even if it was wiped with a handkerchief.1

Prim used the tissue next to her to clean her dress roughly.

“Then, I will see you next time.”

“You have to practice a lot, Lady Prim.”

Prim just smiled and waved her hands at Elena.

‘Should I hit her?'

After thinking for a while, Prim shook her head. Either way, if she sticks with Elena, she will gain more information.

‘Do you really think I'm going to learn arts so hard that I'm getting upset? There is probably nothing to do after I find the real Beauty.'

Prim got off from the carriage after thinking hard of her final idea.

All of sudden, a familiar face caught her eyes from afar and he was approaching her.

“Mcgurdin?”

“Hello, my lady.”

McGurdin was a gardener who was in charge of Beles Palace. No matter how the 8th Prince lived, the palace's beautiful garden has to be maintained by him.

“What you asked before, I have brought it.” (Mcgurdin)

“Really?”

Prim stepped closer to him.

“This is it, right.”

“Yes.”

McGuardin pulled out the pot with blue flowers. It was a flower that Prim wanted to show to Reynsis one day.

After the curse is lifted, Reynsis' empty and grey coloured eyes switch to blue as this flower petal.

‘Of course he can't see the color of the flowers.'

Later, she wanted to meet with the Beauty and tell her to lift the curse.

This colour looks like his eyes as the flower reminds her of the prince.

“Thank you.”

Prim said with a sincere smile.

“Is this a big deal? When you bring in the flower every month, you can make it fresh together.”

McGurdin shook his head with a smile. The cold wind blew his blue hair as a leaf of a tree stuck to his hair.

Prim got closer to him.

“Wait a minute.”

“Eh?”

Mcgurdin shut his mouth because he was too embarrassed. Prim reached out and took the leaves off his head.

“It was stuck.”

Prim smiled and shook the leaves. Mcgurdin, who stared blankly at her for a moment, came a step closer to Prim.

“Excuse me, Prim..”

“Oh, it's already time. I have to get going. Thank you very much!”

Prim didn't give McGuardin a chance to say anything. He just stared at her, who was quick on moving away.

Prim put down her drawing tools in her room and took the flower's pot then headed straight to Reynsis's room.

Without knocking on the door, she entered the room.

“What is it?”

Reynsis's look at her with an unpleasant look plastered on his face.1

‘Are you in a bad mood today?'

Prim stepped forward with the flower pot in her hands.

“This is Mulmangcho. It's a blue flower.”

Reynsis frowned as he glanced at the pot.

“Did you go out just to get this ?”

Prim shook her head as her eyes glowed.

“No, I met a friend. This is my first time in the Empire, so I keep thinking about it.”

“…..”

“If you are curious, I will introduce them to you, Your Highness.”

“Alright, I'm done with you.”

Reynsis turned away coldly.

For the last few days, she has been wondering if his heart has softened a little. Prim put the flowerpot on the window with a sorrowful mood.

“I will leave you alone for now, Your Highness. Good night.”

Prim walked away to get out of his room.

“Is your friend a man?”

His sudden question made her step stop as she turned around to look at him.

His gaze was in confusion.

“She's a woman.”

“…..”

Reynsis chuckled in silence but Prim didn't hear him.

“I was trying to find your fate.”

“No thanks.”

“…..”

“Now get out.”

Reynsis snapped in his usual cold tone.

Prim wanted to say more about what she did today but she kept her mouth shut at the sight of his fierce expression today.

‘You shouldn't talk like that to your Beauty.'

That's why she kept it a secret. The Beast's personality will remain the same even if he meets the Beauty now.

“….I'm going now. Have a good night, Your Highness.”

Still, he did not answer her. Prim was already used to it, so she walked away to leave the room.

There was something in his colourless vision. Reynsis's grey colored eyes sank darkly.

It was because the Red colour was smudge on her dress.

No matter how much he can't see any colour, the colour of red was vibrating on her dress. She is a person who learned painting even though she's a painter. The paint on the dress was obvious.3

‘Did she try to paint a picture outside?'

Reynsis certainly saw them. Prim with a man in the colourless color exchanged flowers and greeted each other affectionately.1

‘Did she spend her time with him?'

When he thought like that, his mood that had already been bad quickly hit the rock bottom.

‘If you want to paint, you can paint in this palace. Why are you sneaking around out there.'1

‘Why is she lying? Besides, I'd like to see flowers like that in my room.'

Reynsis reached out to the Mulmangcho flower. The watery blue petals touched his finger. He felt he wanted to break this colourless flower.

“…….”

But he couldn't. Prim's face, who always watered the flowers in the garden, was so pale.

‘If I could see this colour, would you paint it next to me?'2

The thought of it made his stomach feel stuffy. It was like something was moving from inside.

What should he do?

He couldn't find the answer. His eyes stung again. It was a pain that he got used to.

“….Fuck this.”

Reynsis murmured his usual foul words.

His colourless vision is getting blurry. The flower she brought which was like the cherry blossom petal began to be colored with something.1

He is not kidding right now, but why can he see the color of the flowers? No one there knew what color that was.

There's no way.2

Reynsis stared nervously at the Mulmangcho then closed his eyes.

It was because he preferred to keep himself in the dark rather than looking at the flower that plastered in his eyes.

But he couldn't calm down. The Mulmangcho petals were dark blue and shine like the sky.2

***

It was the same day as usual. The still blue sky and the warm sunshine made her smile.

“…..”

But Prim couldn't laugh or smile right now.

“…..”

Sitting opposite to her, Prim observed his quiet face.

Blazing platinum blonde as the sun, dark gray eyes, a high nose and his sharp jawline. It was nothing different than usual.

But the mood was different. What should she say?

“Hmm, look..”

“….”

That was rough because he just ignored it.

She used to be ignorant at this but it was a sudden change to the atmosphere.

He was so cold that Prim lowered her eyes. She felt like a sinner even if she didn't do anything wrong.

The meal was so awkward and static that she didn't know if the rice went into her mouth or nose.

Something changed that made her unable to talk carelessly as usual.

She thought that they got a little closer but it must have been all her misunderstanding.

After such a long wait, Prim carefully opened her mouth.

“Well, Your Highness. I would like to go out for awhile today.”

His gaze towards Prim was so sharp.

“So?”

(tn- lol he sounds like a diva.)1

“So… today's class will be a bit late.”

“Then?”

“…..”

He didn't accept it even before she finished speaking. Prim shut her mouth.

He was so sarcastic about it that she wouldn't be able to open her mouth.

Why is he being mean all of sudden?

Prim can just cry in her heart while continuing eating.1

The whipped cream that she thought was sweet tasted different. Reynsis's eyes glanced at her quietly.

***

With a deep sigh, Prim looked up at where she had arrived. A boutique that was frequently visited by aristocrats.

With the birthday of the Imperial Princess getting near, the boutique was swarmed by people.

The dress here was so pretty and shining.

‘Why are so many people here?'

She went to the corner of the boutique as her mouth kept opening because of amazement.

From dresses to jewellery ornaments. There were things in front of her eyes that she couldn't even look at properly.

The ladies recommended dresses that  suit each other and looked at their reflection in front of the mirror.

There was only one reason why Prim came here. In case Elena is not the Beauty, she was looking for another beauty candidate.

But the situation inside was so hectic that it was hard to figure out who was who.

Prim squinted her eyes behind the clothes rack. She had to find a beautiful candidate with the utmost beauty.

Dark hair with red eyes.

“Young lady, please excuse me.”

The man who looked like a servant said to her with an irritating tone. Prim stepped back as she was embarrassed.

“Oh my, we got too many customers.”

The servant muttered as he was annoying. Prim glanced at him.

“I know that you are especially busy today but what's the matter?”

“Don't mention it. When all the Royal family were gathered, the nobles were so hethic to choose their best looks.”

“The Royal family?”1

Prim was startled with the sudden news.

“Didn't you know? Rumor has it that the 8th prince's eyes are getting better. I'm not sure, but there are so many people who expect him to come to the 7th Princess birthday party.”
