I Became The Childhood Friend of the Obsessive Second Male Lead Chapter 219

“Why do you look so disgusted? Do you hate holding hands with me now?”

“I thought I was acting like Noel a while ago.”

“What?”

Noel stopped in place and turned his gaze to Rieta. He was looking  down from a very high place.

“When did the Princess ever act like a gentleman like me?”

“It means I was as mean as Noel.”

“You shouldn't blame your bad personality on someone else.”

He squatted on the railing and tapped Rieta's forehead. He was laughing out loud too.

“Our bad-tempered Princess.”

That was mean, but Rieta was not particularly angry.

Perhaps it was because his tone was full of kindness.

“Anyway, that's what brought that damn Everett and I together. I don't know if it's all been explained. Any questions?”

Noel stood up again and started walking on the railing.

Of course, Rieta still held his hand and walked down the terrace together.

“Yes.”

“Okay, bring it on.”

“I wonder why Everett Hewitt dresses like that.”

If there's a feature that steals attention like that, it's likely to be written in the original story, but she has never seen such a story.

“What? You didn't know?”

“How would I know that?”

“It's all because of you!”

When Noel said that, Rieta paused on the spot for a moment.

“Me?”

“Yes, you.”

“I never met that person before?”

“Have you forgotten what Sister said?”

“Princess Gabriella? What do you mean?”

“Sometimes Sister says, 'I like people like Princess Rieta'”

Yes . . .

She used to say that sometimes. No, actually, she said that every time they met.

“I like Rieta.”

She even spoke like that the last time they met.

“I like people who are pretty like Princess Rieta. It makes me want to have a person like that as my companion

Rietta immediately recalled the characteristics of Everett Hewitt.

He was someone who would do anything to be loved by the princess!

Oh no!

Rieta only now understood the conversation that took place on the terrace.

Everett asked who was prettier.

“Well then, maybe Everett Hewitt . . .”

“He was imitating you. To please Sister. It's really surprising that it worked.”

“Yes. It seems to have worked. A little while ago, Princess Gabriella looked very happy?”

“Uh, I don't quite understand it, though. Anyway.”

Noel pulled Rieta's arm towards him so he could keep her gaze completely.

But her bewildered eyes were moving around, not knowing what to do.

“Just in case, I'm telling you.”

Noel told Rieta one thing to avoid any more misunderstanding.

“That punk and Princess Rieta don't look alike at all.”

“The reason Sister was happy is simply because he looked so funny. How can he resemble you in the first place, right?”

“I know he doesn't resemble me at all. In the first place, Noel was on the terrace and I'm . . ..”

Embarrassed, Rieta accidentally brought up that she had overheard them talking earlier.

She realized quickly and shut her mouth, but it was already too late.

Noel was looking this way with a suspicious gaze.

“Don't tell me, Princess.”

“Were you spying on me?”

“How, how would that happen?”

Rieta struggled with a smile, trying to calm the situation.

She was worried if Noel would be angry she spied on him.

“That's too much.”

He wasn't angry, but instead looked a little sulky.

“If your friend is in trouble, why don't you come and help? What were you thinking, my friend?”

“Well, Noel looked troubled, but still . . .”

He seemed to be having fun, so somehow she couldn't intervene.

Besides, at the time that she thought Noel was out on a date.

Although she can't be honest that she had such a misunderstanding, of course.

“Well, I guess my eyes caught my friend on a date.”

“Date?! Who?!”

“Who, I'm talking about you? 'My Princess.'”

Rieta was taken aback by Noel's grunted words.

Date? It's a bit odd to talk about Elisha and her like that now.

“Why are you looking at me with such eyes?”

“Elisha is my servant.”

“What servant in the world clings to his master like that?”

“He wasn't clinging.”

“You're kidding, I've seen it all.”

“I don't know what the hell you saw and misunderstood, but if I was even a little closer to Elisha, that would do.”

Rieta grabbed Noel's hand. Just like he did to Rieta a while ago.

“I was just talking about how bad of a partner Noel is.”

“Ba, bad? I gave food and drinks to that punk?!”

“Yes, that seemed a little dedicated.”

Rieta suddenly confessed that she had been looking at him the whole time.

Fortunately, Noel didn't seem to care about it.

“. . . Anyway, Noel, you can't talk about other girls to your partner if they ask you if they're pretty.”

“Are you an idiot? Are you afraid I don't even know that much?”

“How come you didn't seem to know?”

“That's because the other person was Everett Hewitt. Would I have responded that way if it was a normal partner?”
