Granting You a Second Life 109 Dr Daddy

Li Xiuying paused her steps and spoke sarcastically: "I just think that your wonderful behavior needs to be documented so all your future employers will know to bow down to you, on meeting you. That's the reaction you want isn't it? Who knows maybe my little letter will inspire others to write about your glorious feats."

Mao Yi Hui: "I may have let my pride get the better of me today but that isn't cause enough for your reaction. I'm still a good surgeon and great at my job. I'm competent and I have a great bedside manner. I have published numerous research papers, I have even won prizes for said research."

Li Xiuying then spoke with an air of indifference: "That maybe true. Let me ask you though; how many people have had to swallow their pride because you complained to your father? Or worse yet how many have lost their jobs when they wouldn't submit?"

Mao Yi Hui: "I don't understand why I shouldn't use the resources I have at hand, it's my birthright. Is it my fault that their parents didn't work harder for the future of their children? Why do you have the right to criticize me? Do you think I'm the only one who yields their family name in the face of those who are less worthy? Why aren't you out there trampling on their genealogy, destroying their lineages and wrecking their ancestral tablets?"

Li Xiuying: "You have been given all your advantages by God, fate, luck, Karma cultivated from your past lives or by your ancestors or even random chance choose whichever you want, and by the same token you have met me. The other people who share the same understanding of the world such as yourself have not had the chance to meet me thus far. Oh and I just want to remind you that if you had initially accepted my refusal, this situation wouldn't have escalated. This situation has been brought about by your idiotic and egotistical actions. If you are done wasting my time I have surgeries to perform."

Mao Yi Hui watched as Li Xiuiyng sauntered away. 'All this is my fault? I have to be persecuted because fate has given me a great life? Does that crap even make sense?'

Hotel suite

Elder Mao was currently sweating bullets as he sat in the lounge. He was on the phone to Qin Song.

Elder Mao: "Mr Song I have spoken to Yi Hui and apologized to Dr Li. I hope this is enough?"

Qin Song: " Hmmm."

Elder Mao apprehensively asked: "Now that our transaction is complete, Mr Qin I hope those pictures will not surface."

Qin Song: "I am a man of my word. That word happens to be revenge. Keep your son and yourself in check and we won't have any problems in the future."

Elder Mao: "Yes of course."

Qin Song sighed: "You may not know this but my biggest fault has always been I'm to merciful to people; I give them a chance hoping to see them change and instead they try to plot against me. Sometimes I think I should just immediately eliminate the root of the problem. It would save me a lot of time."

Elder Mao could understand the underlying meaning behind Qin Song's words; fall in line or prepare to have your family line fall.

Elder Mao: "I understand that must be quite trying."

Qin Song: "Yes it can be. Well I'll leave you to enjoy the rest of your day."

Elder Mao threw his phone across the table. The breakfast foods splattered and plates fell on to the carpet.

He was just about to have breakfast with his mistress when he first received a call from his son followed by a call from Qin Song. He couldn't work out how his morning had taken such a nose dive.

Mistress: "Is everything okay?"

Elder Mao looked at the woman next to him with contempt; it was because of this woman that he had been blackmailed by Qin Song. 'How did that damn boy that still smelt like his mothers milk manage to get pictures of me and my mistress?! I've always been so careful. '

Elder Mao had married into the Fa family a very influential family in China. The Fa family's influence had spread into multiple areas such as medicine, politics military, engineering and even cosmetics. It was partly due to the Fa family that Elder Mao had reached his current position. He was just another struggling doctor until he married his wife. Although his wife was usually sweet and gentle, if someone crossed her she would maul them like a lion.

The mistress was a little shocked at the look Elder Mao gave her: "Erm Honey is everything okay? Do you have to go into the hospital?"

Elder Mao face froze 'Qin Song that B*****d is so cunning. Now I have to side with the policies he wants to put in place at the hospital.'

Elder Mao: "Its over."

The mistress: "What? What are you talking about? What happened? Did I do something wrong?"

Elder Mao: "Do I have to justify myself to a prostitute?"

Mistress: "Prostitute? How dare you call me a prostitute?!"

Elder Mao: "How did I ever find your stupidity endearing?" He stood over her and flicked her jewellery and clothing.

Elder Mao: "I bought you all of the things you're currently wearing. I buy you gifts, take you out, take you on holidays and fund your basic living needs and you repay me with your body and the tricks you can do with it."

Mistress she stood up and pushed elder Mao Back: "You b*****d! How dare you speak to me in such a way! I slept with you because of the feelings I had for you, because of the feelings I thought you had for me! You told me you loved me! You told me you would leave your wife and marry me! How can you treat me like this?"

Elder Mao slapped his mistress in the face: "You B***h! How dare you push me!"

The mistress who was wearing ten inch stilettos toppled over with the impact of the slap.

Elder Mao took out his wallet and threw money on top of his mistress: "Be gone by the time I finish showering."

He turned to head for the bathroom when he heard his former mistress speak behind him.

The mistress looked smug: " You think you're so smart, I've got pictures. All those dirty little secrets you wanted to keep hidden I've got photos of all of it. Let's see how long your precious little wife stays with you after seeing all the F****d up things you did to me. I can't wait to see the faces of your colleagues and those who actually respect you, Dr Daddy." That was the nickname he liked to be called when they were intimate.

Elder Mao shook his head from side to side, he turned to look at his mistress who was sprawled all over the floor.

Elder Mao spoke in pity: "This is why I called you stupid. Now you won't be able to walk out of this room alive."

The mistress had a look of terror on her face: "What?" She dragged herself backward until her back hit the wall. There was no escape.

Elder Mao: "I'll give you a little funeral. It will have to be just you and me of course. Well that should be fine since you have no family and no real friends anyway."

The mistress screamed: "HELP!"

Elder Mao: "Tut tut. No one will come to help you. Everyone is aware of my tendencies here. I'll just have to make a quick call to have you taken care of, that's my final gift to you. Professionals are so expensive. " He walked over to her and pulled her up by her elbow. He was going to have to tie her up and gag her before he could call his contact.

In contrast to the excitement that elder Mao was experiencing, Li Xiuying was calm and collected. She was half way through her second operation of the morning.

Yao Changying spoke with a mischievous glint in her eye: "YingYing, D over there looks a a little left out. Why don't you ask him some questions to make him feel more involved?"

D looked over at Yao Changying his face was the picture of horror, which was thankfully hidden by a surgical mask. 'Why does Dr Yao hate me? What have I ever done to offend her?'
