Luckily, the Empress dowager did care about her youngest son . She arrived before Princess Zhao Yang did . That was partly because Prince Li's Manor was closest to the palace among all those manors owned by princes .

Those in the room all rose to greet the Empress dowager . She sat down and heard all of it from the elder prince and Consort Xian Zhao . Before the two even finished, the Empress dowager flared up and reproached Mo Jing Li bitterly . Those in the room didn’t dare to interrupt when the Empress dowager scolded her son . They had no choice but to listen to her . The elder prince snorted and didn’t answer him .

Having got the elder prince's promise, the Empress dowager was more than happy . Though the elder prince didn't attend to affairs of the state any longer, he was very influential among the royals . The Empress dowager frowned and said: “I will talk to His Majesty and let her marry Jing Li some other time . ” The Empress dowager didn’t hide that from those noble ladies . She got rid of Mo Jing Li’s hand and sneered: “No matter what a scene I’m going to make is nothing compared to a shameless woman who seduced the bridegroom at another woman's wedding . How come such a bitch is a princess? That's a disgrace to all princesses . I’ve heard you started to pester Prince Li a long time ago, don't you? It’s none of my business who you hook up with before . But that you dare to do that at my wedding is a provocation to me . ”

The Empress dowager frowned and said in a deep voice: “Princess Ling Yun, Prince Li and Princess Qi Xia are set up . If you aren’t happy about what happened, I’ll ask him to apologize to you afterwards . Don't act like a child in front of all those princes and ladies . ”

Princess Ling Yun sneered . She took of her red kerchief and threw it on the ground . “Apologize? No way I’m going to take that! I’m not marrying him . Do whatever you like . If that bitch is here, then I won’t be here!”

Consort Xian Zhao said: “Then, what do you want, princess?”

Princess Ling Yun said proudly: “Let Prince Li kill that bitch himself . Then I’ll act like nothing has happened . ”

“What?!” The crowd was so surprised .

Mo Jing Li took Princess Qi Xia behind him and stared at Princess Ling Yun: “You are out of your mind . She's the princess of Nan Zhao . ”

“So what? I’m the princess of Xi Ling . I’m not afraid of that little country . ” Princess Ling Yun said with her brows raised .

Lei Teng Feng looked at the crowd with a cold stare and said: “Ling Yun is right . Dong Chu hasn't taken Great Ling seriously . Well, I don't think this wedding is necessary to carry on . Prince Li, what do you think?”

Mo Jing Li was silent .

Princess Ling Yun sneered: “Brother, you’ve seen it now, haven't you? They have turned their nose up at us . ”

Lei Teng Feng looked at Princess Ling Yun indifferently and said: “Get your things . Let’s go . I’ll go the palace and bid farewell . We’ll leave for Xi Ling soon . ”

“Yes . ” Princess Ling Yun glanced at Princess Qi Xia and Mo Jing Li with disdain . There was no shame in her eyes due to her failed wedding . On the contrary, she looked very happy .

“My Lord, this can be settled through discussion . It's about the relationship between our countries . Please don’t be swayed by personal feelings . ” The elder prince sighed . He stood up and offered his advice .
