In order to make A Miao feel comfortable, Shen Xinglan had asked others to find a caravan from the nearest city to provide some room for A Miao to stretch herself out.

"Let me help you get around!" Shen Xinglan said. Strolling halfway, they found that it was time for a meal.

Shen II and Little Demon were responsible for driving. They parked the car under a hillside. There were a few horses not far away, so someone should be living nearby. The food was bought at a hotel downtown and kept in a heat-preserving canister. A Miao only had a little and then stopped.

Shen Xinglan helped her walk among the wildflowers. When they set off again, A Miao felt much better than before and even had some fruit. Then she lay down and chatted with Shen Xinglan. After only a few words, she fell asleep, breathing smoothly.

"Boss, there are still 20 kilometers to go."

When the sky began to get dark, they were close to their destination.

A Miao had not woken up yet, and Ouyang Jin heard her cell phone vibrate.

"Shen?"

When little Demon opened the door, Shen Xinglan was holding A Miao in his arms. He said, "Find a place to rest first."

Wei Meng and Ding V stood in front of a bamboo building.

"She's not awake yet?" Wei Meng looked at A Miao, confirming that she was asleep.

Shen Xinglan said with a rather low voice, "Let her sleep. Wait for me outside."

Then he entered the bamboo building, put A Miao carefully on the bed, and checked the surroundings thoroughly. He found that it had been cleaned up already because it was so clean here. Everyone else sat down at the stone table in front of the bamboo building. Wei Meng first spoke to him after he came out.

"The chief is a woman in her 50s. Xu Shiguang helped her once before so she agreed to help us. But..."

Wei Meng walked into their room and saw A Miao quietly sleeping on the bamboo bed with a round bulge on her stomach which went up and down along with A Miao's breathing.

"She is truly asleep," touching her neck, Wei Meng said. "Would you like to wake her up?"

As they spoke, A Miao moved her eyelids.

"A Miao," Shen Xinglan called out.

When A Miao slowly opened her eyes and saw Wei Meng, she asked confusedly, "Mengmeng, why are you here?"

"We have arrived," Shen Xinglan said. He went over and helped her up. "You have slept for the whole night. Do you feel hungry?" Shen Xinglan asked.

"A whole night?" A Miao asked. Hearing that, she came to her senses immediately.

"I've been asleep for that long?"

"Yes," answered Shen Xinglan, who was putting a cup of tea up to A Miao's mouth. "We are going to meet the chief. Don't worry about anything."

Wei Meng stood up and said, "I will go first. Later, I will send Ding V to pick you up."

Little Demon managed to get a bowl of porridge somehow. A Miao had some along with a few dishes then she heard Ding V calling them outside. Walking out of the bamboo building, A Miao found that the stockaded village was pretty large. The highest place was the chief's.

It took them about 10 minutes to get there. Wei Meng stood at the door and nodded at her. "Come in."

"Is she the one you mentioned who is suffering from vermin?" said a middle-aged woman who was sitting on a chair placed in the middle of the house. She was wearing a costume of ethnic minority decorated with numerous delicate silver ornaments.

A Miao nodded slightly. "Nice to meet you. Please help us!"
