It got dark early in the mountain and it became rather quiet after eight o'clock. A Miao would feel afraid if she didn't know that there were many people in the courtyard.

"Go to bed earlier. I will be outside, and you can call me if anything happens." Jiang Hua said, standing at the door of the house after checking the door and the windows.
