"Big brother, there's some delicious food today!"

A seven- or eight-year-old girl came running with her hands tightly to her chest. She looked as she was holding something valuable in her palm.

The wounded boy raised his head, and a gentle smile flashed across his immature face. "Shanshan!"

"Eat quickly!" The little girl reached out her hand, inside of which was a white, fat, steamed stuffed bun. "It's meat! Meat!" The little girl's eyebrows were curved and she looked like she would certainly be a beauty when she grew up.

Shen Xinglan took the steamed stuffed bun and tried to break it, but Shanshan stopped him. "I have already eaten it! This was left secretly for you." After saying that, she put down her small backpack and took a medicine kit out from inside.

"Eat quickly and I'll dress your wound."

He Shishi wanted to say something, but she saw Ouyang Jin make a face at her, so she pursed her lips and swallowed her words back.

"It's a good time for you to wake up!" Ouyang Jin smiled. "In a few days, it will be the Asian King of Gambler Invitational. I am still hesitating about whether to go or not. Now I can go at ease."

Shen Xinglan nodded. "Go ahead."

Ouyang Jin did not say much more and took He Shishi away. Entering the elevator, He Shishi glared at him. "Why didn't you let me ask him?"

Le Yi shook his head. "I knew you would ask that when you woke up. Ding V is keeping an eye out over there!"

Soon after they left Country R, A Miao woke up.

"But he never did see her appearance. Ding V saw someone take women's dresses to Jiang Quanyu's house. I guess she must've woken up."

"Do you know how I felt when I saw her lying there?" Shen Xinglan shook his fist.

"I can guess." Le Yi sighed. "Otherwise, you wouldn't have been shot."

"No, you don't understand." Shen Xinglan shook his head. "I didn't believe that A Miao was dead at that time. I didn't believe that she would leave me."

When he saw A Miao lying in the coffin, Shen Xinglan knew that Jiang Quanyu had planned it. His despair and unwillingness came from his inability to do anything, and from the fact that he had caused all this to happen to A Miao.

"He will regret it." Shen Xinglan suddenly smiled. "He'll regret not killing me."
