He nodded inwardly and moved to the dining hall located next to the kitchen room.

But unlike before, the mansion seemed to have lost its vigor.

After Rhea became the queen, most of the servants and soldiers had moved to the Royal Castle!

Only a handful of servants, few guards, and his other disciples were staying here.

If not for the Royal Rules, Rhea might come back to the mansion during weekends and choose to stay here.

Shaking his head, Charles stepped on the concrete floor and soon arrived in front of the dining hall.

"Please get me something to eat."

"Yes, My Lord," Ashley said in a hurry and went back to the kitchen.

A few minutes later, she and two other maids entered the dining hall and placed different dishes on the table like a roasted chicken, honey roasted fish, stewed mutton, charcoal steak, a glass of champagne, and a plate full of salad.

Charles dismissed the servants, took the knife and fork, cut the roasted chicken, and started eating it slowly.

'It's been a long time since I ate the tasty food.' He chuckled inwardly and continued to eat.

After 30 minutes, he walked out of the dining hall and moved towards the bifurcated staircase.

Within a few seconds, he arrived in front of it, walked on the staircase, and soon reached the second floor.

Then, he moved to the right side corridor and went to the third floor through the spiral staircase.

After that, he walked past the banquet hall and ballroom and soon arrived in front of the VIP room section.

He then used his [Sleight of Mystery Hand] skill, opened the door, and entered his new room.

There were a total of three VIP rooms on the third floor.

He chose the one on the right side.

Then, he went towards the wardrobe, picked up a white towel, a set of casual dresses, and moved towards the bathroom.

He then took a long bath and walked out of the bathroom in his casual clothes.

After that, he went near the bed and laid on it.

He placed his head on the soft pillow and tried to get some sleep.

Then, he also took out an ink bottle and a golden quill and placed them on the glass table.

Then, he opened the Books of Secrets, flipped the pages, and soon stopped at a mysterious blank page.

Charles casually picked the golden quill, opened the ink bottle, dipped the brush into it, and began to write his name and surname.

Then, he wrote his date of birth, elemental affinities, their levels, and place of birth.

"Reveal!" He spoke coldly.

The next instant, Charles entered into a strange state and felt some deep connection with one of the possible future selves!

Before he could sense that future self's deep emotions, the connection suddenly got cut off!

Charles soon woke up from the strange state and shifted his gaze towards the blank page.

At that moment, an image appeared on the mysterious blank page!

It was an image of a headless body.

'That's me.' A grim look appeared on Charles's face.
