What happened in these few seconds was so quick that I was caught off guard. Only after did I  immediately react, grabbing Agares's arm while yelling at both of them, "Stop! Stop!"

Damn it, are these two insane!? Even under such dire situations of being held as prisoners, they're still implacably hostile to each other. 

The blue veins on my forehead jumped in fury, but I tried to hold my composure together as I was the only one who could act as a peacemaker and stop this brawl from breaking out. Not caring about my disheveled clothing, I anxiously got back on my feet and waved my hands at both of them, pretending to be calm while I coaxed them gently, "Hey. Hey, guys. Listen to me. At this moment, we're supposed to be on the same page, so what grudges you guys have can be solved later. First, we should deal with those pirates above us, okay?" 

In reply, I was met with a deafening silence.

My psychological strength couldn't be said as remarkable, and at this moment, the high tension in the room made me feel rather on edge and scared., It was the same feeling one got when one was dropped from a high altitude and came to a sudden stop. I swallowed a mouthful of saliva and swept a glance over to Rhine. He wasn't showing any sign of movement and was just merely crouching wearing an unwilling, defeated expression.

Rhine's injuries weren't light. However, he was a smart person, so he would be able to understand that his impulsive action of going against Agare's strength was a mistake. I was quite assured that Rhine wouldn't be launching another attack, but Agares, on the other hand, was a whole other issue. He might not only want to kill Rhine because of our (platonic) relationship, but also because Rhine had previously wounded Agares with an anesthetic bullet. This kind of beast with high intelligence would definitely bear resentment towards those who had harmed them.

If those two were to fight again, it would only benefit those fake fisherman pirates. The moment they heard some strange movement from below, they would be rushing down to fire some shots at all, and none of us could possibly escape it.  

Just as I was struggling internally, thinking about how to appease both of them, Agares suddenly thrust his tail upwards from the water, lifting columns of water along with it. His sharp caudal fin looked like a knife chopping down at Rhine's head with lightning speed. Rhine managed to dodge it, however, he was still knocked down by the harsh, rocking waves from the water. The fishtail didn't spare a single chance and struck again. Instantly, Rhine's life flashed before my eyes.  

Wait a minute, ah! With great alarm, I instinctively threw myself towards Agares's back and held his strong and tenacious waist, erupting out a loud shout: "Agares, stop!" 

The movements in the water halted abruptly. Through his broad back, a low voice vibrated into my ear: "Why?" 

I froze for a second, not expecting this untameable beast to heed my plea. I was frightened like a horse hanging off a cliff, desperately latching onto Agares's body that could explode with destructive power at any time. I was afraid that if I let go he would commit a bloody massacre. 

"It's because… I…" I dryly swallowed down my saliva. My head gave out this extremely absurd response but then at this moment, it was perhaps the most efficient way to stop him. I swallowed again, and as if driven by an unknown force, I said, "I belong to you… Not Rhine. So you don't have to kill him." 

When I said this, goosebumps involuntarily appeared all over my body. In my head, I secretly criticized myself: Ah, fuck. Just what kind of shit am I spouting? I should just bite off my tongue and die!   

However, after I had spoken, the tensed muscles around my arm gradually became lax, and even the fishtail that was pointing at Rhine's head withdrew back into the water. His extremely long tail stirred up a water trail as it turned to twist against my leg, pulling me around to face him. Agares looked down at me with his eyebrow raised splendidly upwards as if he had won a grand prize. A deep grin was plastered on his face, and he said," Prove it… to me."  

Prove it to me.

"How…?" 

His emotions were like the passing rain as it changed so quickly. I was tongue-tied, and so I only managed to spit out a word. My jaw was then held up tightly by his dripping wet hands, forcing me to look up. Without much regard for others, he lowered his head down closer to me. He stuck out the tip of his tongue from his lip that was dyed red from dark crimson blood and casually licked across my face. He set his deep, penetrating pupils upon me, staring so firmly into me as trying to test my sincerity.

I held my breath and stood there motionless as an unusual, sweet fragrance assaulted my nose, making me feel a bit faint. I suddenly felt the magnetic field carried by Agares becoming so tangible that it seemed to be transforming completely into existence.

I was fully aware that the life and death of my advisor of three years were at stake, but what was the most difficult for me at this point was not Agares's threat. However, it was the total opposite….. I felt that I was being seduced by him, or to be even more precise, I was being bewitched. His capricious unruliness had influenced the state of my mind, and thus I was incapable of grasping his way of thinking. I was like a curious cat lurking around, searching for a way to attempt to tame him, but it was like an unstable experiment, one that was both irritating yet addictive. 

My heart was beating extraordinarily fast. I couldn't help but suspect that the strength of the powerful Agares had made me develop Stockholm Syndrome. Or maybe I was just born with an inherited, rotten, and concealed masochist (M) complex, because at this very moment, I was unable to control my desire to kiss Agares, even though I was aware that Rhine's death glare was sending stab wounds down my spine.

I didn't know when I took the initiative to extend my arm and wrapped them around Agares's neck, bringing our faces nearer to one another. The next moment I placed my lips on his, all my thoughts became frozen. My back was instantly fastened around by Agares, and his strength was pushing me closer into him, wanting to smother me into his embrace. His heart was beating like a drum making my chest vibrate with it in sync. The exciting beat of his heart was as if he was an old unmarried bachelor who had only just found the love of his life after many years. 

Something is amiss, all of this…… is way too strange! What's going on with me! 

A voice deep in the abyss of my heart cried out, yet my attention was unable to leave from Agares.

At this moment, from behind me, Rhine's panting voice was heard in whispers———

"I'm sorry… next time I will definitely… take you away from the side of this evil beast!" His voice was warped with a sinister, poisoning tone. It was like he was at death's door and was sending out his malicious dying oath. It was not loud, but it was still like a hypertoxic centipede crawling into my ear. "Desharow, I will make him miserable…one day, he will die a tragic end."

The sound of Rhine's poisoning oath would cause anyone to feel like they were chained down in a freezer, which was even colder than Agare's body temperature.

I was struck with a shiver and woke up from my bewitched-dream like state. Agares was on the verge of being drunk from tasting my lips. His half-opened eyes and his long eyelashes cast a shadow over his eye preventing my mind from wandering and firmly locking my gaze with his. His kisses were as if he wanted to suck out all my oxygen and even my soul so that he could gobble it down thoroughly with great strength. His fishtail had moved to caress my ass up and down, it was just like before when he had touched me moments ago.

The wet feeling touching my body permeated through the thin material of my clothing and was like it was injecting an aphrodisiac into every pore of my body. It was like it had commanded and disturbed every cell in my body to move. My body couldn't help but to respond to his touches and kisses, the slender object inside of my clothing was longing for body contact with his tail, aching for more friction. However, for some reason, it made me feel ashamed. I just wished I had enough strength to push away this lewd demon but I had no choice as I felt like I was sinking deeper into the water so I embraced his neck to not let myself drop into the water as my knees were soft.

I felt that I was going to suffocate, I didn't know if it was because I was dizzy but it seemed as if both the sky and earth were rocking and spinning around until I was tilted together into the water with Agares's tail. It was only when the water splashed all around when I reacted. It was the hull that was shaking——— the sea was brewing up some massive wind and waves. Perhaps, a big storm was approaching. 

"Are you doing this?" I carelessly flopped around and then my body was immediately scooped up, out from the water by Agares and saw that he had an unusual vigilant expression on his face. He lifted his head and gazed into the distance from the small circular crack, with that his pupils tightened.

Honestly, I lol'ed really hard when Desharow said he might have stockholm or him being an M.
