The night was intensely cold as the winter season was still going with snowfall occasionally making its mark on the otherwise empty streets. With the advanced technology nowadays as it was, the best quality heaters were available in the market, the person could buy as per their standard to keep them warm from this chilling cold.

Ding Jiaye was like those types of people, she preferred to have a fireplace in her study room rather than a heater.

Since she was a rich lady, she had generously spent money on the fireplace and it became an elegant attraction of the room, a metal Victorian-style grate which was made with matching mantelpieces, it was such a stunning piece that no one's eyes could miss out their admiration for the fireplace in their eyes. Tang Hu was adding the wood into the fireplace to increase the flames to increase the heat. While Ding Jiaye was having her favorite tea, Da Hong Pao[1], well, it was Tang Hu's favorite tea also.

No matter how expensive this tea was they made sure to have one cup a day. That was a fact of both, grandmother and grandson, to which Ding Jiaye was very pleased as many times she felt her grandson was just like her, not only their nature but their habits as well.

Both of Ding Jiaye's sons hadn't dared to go against her, but Tang Hu loved to go against her to the point that now it had become his habit also.

Of course, Ding Jiaye would be unhappy with this habit of his!

"Hmm… the quality of this wood is not looking good, I will have Xu Bojing to bring some of the best quality of wood for you later." Tang Hu suggested while taking a seat in order to sit face to face with Ding Jiaye.

Xu Bojing was Tang Hu's assistant.

"Do you really think that just because you will bring the best quality of wood that I would agree to consider that girl as the daughter-in-law of this house?" Ding Jiaye questioned.

Tang Hu chuckled and took a sip of the tea "Hmm...Do you really think that I put effort into the wood when I already know that Juan will be the daughter-in-law of this house? Aren't you belittling me, grandma?"

"So you would go against me and marry that girl?" Ding Jiaye amusingly asked.

"No… because I know you also want me to marry her, right?" Tang Hu smilingly replied.

Ding Jiaye didn't respond back as she knew her grandson was right. Shaan Industries was one of the top companies in their country, who would not want to make relationships with them? Only a stupid person would reject Mo Xingjuan as their daughter-in-law, whereas, Ding Jiaye was a smart person, so obvious, she would not reject Mo Xingjuan!

"Now, let's come to the main point. I have a few conditions. First, I will marry Juan after a year once she completes her studies." Tang Hu straightforwardly came to the point.

"What? There is no need for her to study further. You should marry her now or at least within the next two months and let her give birth to a son to continue our bloodline." Ding Jiaye immediately rejected Tang Hu's idea and declared her plan.

"This won't do grandma. Juan is only in her twenties. I don't want her to waste her life by bearing a child and doing nothing but household work, she is smarter than that."

"You…" Ding Jiaye felt aggressive as her own grandson was taking the side of that woman, who had come into his life just a month ago.

"If you want to win the bid of South hall Project and want me to continue as the CEO of the Tang Corporation, then you must agree with my conditions. Xingjuan would not only continue her studies but also join the Tang Corporate as a part of the board of directors and help me in the business. Not only this, after our marriage, we will live in our new villa which I have purchased for us. After all, I don't want disruptions in our marriage. As far as your wish for a great-grandson, you will have one but based on Xingjuan and my wish!" 

"Ridiculous! I will never accept these conditions. That...That Mo girl hasn't come to our house yet and she has already started breaking our family rules...our family values. I won't allow this, even if I have to reject her, she couldn't be Madam Tang. You won't marry her!" Ding Jiaye exaggeratedly said. Agreeing with the conditions of Tang Hu, meant threatening her position which she would never allow!

"Do you really think that I brought her here to get your approval, huh? Wrong, the day she became my girlfriend, I have already decided to marry her. As far as my other conditions, Fine! If you don't want to accept them. I have another option as well." Tang Hu calmly said and took out an envelope from his coat and put it in front of Ding Jiaye.
