Lee Xuiye couldn't make any decision. Both were important to her. One was her lover and the other one was her mother.

She was fed up. Why couldn't her life be simple and peaceful instead of having so much of problem?

Lee Xuiye was thinking what to do when her phone vibrated again. She picked up without looking at the caller Id.

"Hello, who is this?" Lee Xuiye asked in a dull tone while her mind was thinking about whom to choose as the image of Mo Lingtan and Lee Chang-You were flashing back in her mind.

Mo Lingtan checked his phone to see whether he had dialled the correct number or not. Why was Lee Xuiye saying 'who is this?'? And why was she sounding so dull?

"It's me, your Brother Lingtan. What happened? What are you sounding so dull?" Mo Lingtan asked.

When Lee Xuiye heard Mo Lingtan, she came back into her senses and immediately asked "Uaaa! Brother Lingtan, why did you call?"

"First, answer my question."

"That...That...Sky Imperial's manager Yue Wanwan called and she told me to reach at her office within 30 minutes. How could she say that without asking whether I am free or not? I don't know what to do now?"

Mo Lingtan remembered that Lee Chang-You had specifically pressurized Wang Hong Wei to have Yue Wanwan as Lee Xuiye's manager because only she could save Lee Xuiye from Wang Hui's tricks.

That was why Lee Chang-You hadn't handed over the recording to Wang Hong Wei until Yue Wanwan had agreed to take Lee Xuiye under her as an artist.

'No! Lee Xuiye should go and meet her. She shouldn't offend her manager for him' Mo Lingtan thought.

"Ohh… that's a good thing then, you should go there and meet her. In fact, I have called you only to tell that I am feeling sleepy now. So don't you dare to come here now and disrupt my sleep, understood? Now bye!" Mo Lingtan said and hung up.

Although, Mo Lingtan had wakened up early in the morning only because Lee Xuiye was going to come here and bring breakfast for him. He didn't know what was happening to him? He still remembered that there was a day when he discouraged his friends for wasting their time on this relationship. He always advised them to prioritise themselves over their girlfriends and here he was going the same things.

Today, he made a sacrifice for her and gave priority to her work instead of thinking about himself. Moreover, he was feeling happy to do so.

However, today he didn't know that there would be a day when he would regret these sacrifices which he had made for her because there would be a day that he would lose her because of these sacrifices.

When Mo Lingtan solved her dilemma, Lee Xuiye immediately rushed to Sky Imperial. Exactly in the thirty minutes, she was standing in outside the door of Yue Wanwan's office.

Lee Xuiye knocked on the door and went inside when she heard Yue Wanwan's voice 'Come in.'

Lee Xuiye went inside and saw a lady in her thirties with her stony face having curly short hairs with a cigarette on her lips. She was wearing a grey suit.

Yue Wanwan was currently looking at the photos of the few new models for an endorsement and when Lee Xuiye entered her office, she didn't glance at Lee Xuiye for once and continued to do her work as if Lee Xuiye wasn't standing in front of her.

After a while, when Lee Xuiye saw that Yue Wanwan wasn't looking at her, which she already expected because she knew that she wouldn't get a friendly response here especially when she was in Sky Imperial, so she introduced herself "Hello, Miss Yue Wanwan, I am Lee Xuiye, a new artist under you."

Yue Wanwan still didn't respond and continued to do her work.

Even, Lee Xuiye didn't say anything again and stood there.

After a while who knew how long, Yue Wanwan put the selected photos on the table and looked at Lee Xuiye and her brows frowned seeing Lee Xuiye's clothes.

Lee Xuiye was wearing a pink top with blue jeans. Her hairs were tied in a ponytail and she was wearing sunglasses to cover the bruises under her eyes.

If Mo Lingtan saw Lee Xuiye in her clothes, he would have found her dressing style as cute. However, Yue Wanwan found her dressing style as a disguising and lower grade girl.

Yue Wanwan gave a disdainful look and sternly said: "You are late."

Lee Xuiye ignored her look and immediately protested "But, I came on time."

Lee Xuiye could use public transport, but she hired a cab, which cost her extra money, only because she had to rush here on time and now, this arrogant manager, who made her stand for forty-five minutes extra, saying her that she was late.

Lee Xuiye had never tolerated bully and she would never tolerate in future as well.

"I remember I called you at 8 AM and told you to meet in thirty minutes i.e 8.30 AM. Now, it's 9.15 AM, then how could you say that you are on time, Miss Lee Xuiye?" Yue Wanwan said in a ridiculous manner.

Lee Xuiye felt the loss of words. She didn't know what to say against Yue Wanwan's reasoning for being late.

Lee Xuiye's blood was boiling in anger, however, she couldn't lash out her anger at Yue Wanwan, therefore, she apologised "I am sorry for being late."

Tsk! Tsk!

Lee Xuiye didn't know that her apology was the biggest mistake she had made. The showbiz industries had known for bullying the weak juniors and if you didn't know how to protect themselves and people would take your advantages.

Now, Lee Xuiye's image had gone into the negative points because Yue Wanwan hadn't had any expectation from Lee Xuiye, but still, she decided to test her because Xia Xiulan had also recommended the name of Lee Xuiye to her.

When the CEO of the company and top model were recommended someone then you shouldn't take that certain someone lightly, right?

And that was where Lee Xuiye had provided that she would never tolerate a bully.

"However, Miss Yue Wanwan, I want you to check the CCTV footage to check the timing that whether I am really late or you didn't give me a glance when I entered in your office." Lee Xuiye continued.

Yue Wanwan raised her browed in amused. It seemed that she had judged this girl a little earlier. This girl surely knew how to talk.

"Sit." Yue Wanwan said.

Lee Xuiye didn't drag this matter further and sat on the chair opposite to Yue Wanwan.

"I read your contract and your profile. You wanted to study Business Management, however, you want to become a model too. Hmmm...Interesting. I won't ask the reason behind your decision because I am not interested in your personal life. However, let me remind you, once you become a successful model your personal life won't be your personal life anymore. Paparazzi will follow you like your shadow and will report everything about you. So it would be better to behave yourself from now onwards." Yue Wanwan started explaining things.

Although it had been many years since Yue Wanwan had trained new models under her, being the top manager of the agency, she always got the models who had already earned their name in the industry and would only require the title of the International model.

Lee Xuiye was exceptional for her and if Lee Xuiye would prove herself that she was worthy then Yue Wanwan didn't mind to put some effort on her, otherwise, Yue Wanwan wouldn't waste her time and toss Lee Xuiye to the other managers.

Yue Wanwan looked at Lee Xuiye's dress and commented: "Next time, make sure to dress some things fashionable and branded clothes."

"I don't have money to buy branded clothes." Lee Xuiye said.

"That's not my problem." Yue Wanwan immediately retorted back by showing that she wouldn't be going to help Lee Xuiye. Even though the company do give loans to new artists who didn't have money to buy clothes and all, but Yue Wanwan didn't even show the intention to tell that to Lee Xuiye.
