Lee Xuiye ran back to the classroom to hide there. She didn't dare to meet Mo Lingtan as she felt goosebumps everywhere on her body when she recalled her sleepless night because of Mo Lingtan's strictness towards her studies. Now she was so scared of him that she didn't want to meet him.

"Get up now!" Mo Lingtan said again with a stern voice.

Lee Xuiye immediately stood up as she didn't want to offend this strict wolf!

Mo Lingtan wanted to laugh out loud from seeing Lee Xuiye like this. During the last month, he had really turned into a strict teacher, who chided her every now and then and made her stay late in the night. In short, he had made her life hell. Nevertheless, Lee Xuiye wasn't someone who would suffer the grievance in silence, she didn't shorten herself in retorting back. Hence, they ended up fighting every day.

Lee Xuiye didn't want to see Mo Lingtan ever again, but this was something which she couldn't overrule as it was ruled that she had to obey Mo Lingtan in studies. Since he had been making a compromise with her career in showbiz, therefore, she was also required to study hard so that she could stand with him in front of the Mo Family proudly.

She knew that Mo Lingtan have had been on bad terms with his father recently because  Mo Mushan was pressuring him to marry Zhuo Ziyao. 

So how could Lee Xuiye let Mo Lingtan marry Zhuo Ziyao just like that?

Mo Lingtan was her boyfriend!

Only she had the right to marry him, no other girl should ever dare to dream to be able to marry her brother Lingtan!

Thus, in the end, Lee Xuiye went to Mo Lingtan's office every day regardless of how much she hated it as she couldn't bear to lose Mo Lingtan at any cost.

However, now since her examination was over, she didn't want to meet Mo Lingtan, at least for a few days.

"Why are you hiding from me? Don't tell me you are planning to break up with me because I was a little strict with you?" Mo Lingtan asked.

Now Lee Xuiye was twenty years old and in one more year, she would be graduating from the University by then he wanted to change her image in front of his family and then they would marry each other in one year.

Since the examination was over now, Mo Lingtan planned to work on their relationship first and then try to change Lee Xuiye's image. 

Unfortunately, like he expected, Lee Xuiye didn't want to meet him now!

If they didn't work on their relationship then how could they proceed further? Lee Xuiye knew Mo Lingtan since childhood and she had unconditional trust in him as well, therefore, she wouldn't be worried about their relationship,  not even once. 

Or perhaps because Lee Xuiye was so worried that she didn't dare to proceed further in their relationship with Mo Lingtan and just opt to make their relationship up to the level of friendship.

This was a taboo for Lee Xuiye which she didn't open up to in front of anybody not even in front of Mo Lingtan.

However, it didn't mean that Mo Lingtan would let Lee Xuiye stay in silence!

"Since when did I perform badly in the examination?" Lee Xuiye angrily pouted her lips. Although Lee Xuiye didn't attend her classes regularly, she always came in the0 top ten students in every term. She had an interest in business management like Mo Lingtan so she caught on to everything that was taught and with the help of Mo Lingtan, things had become easy for her.

"Good. Let me give you an appreciation then!" Mo Lingtan smiled faintly and moved forward to give her a hug and bully her further. However... 

"Aaaa… Brother Lingtan, I have to go to the studio. Yue Wanwan had something to discuss with me. I better leave now, lest Yue Wanwan gets angry again." Lee Xuiye quickly pushed Mo Lingtan away.

Lee Xuiye knew that Mo Lingtan was here to make up for the fight which they had been continuously doing during the last month. She wasn't ready yet.

Nevertheless, Mo Lingtan wasn't ignorant who didn't understand Lee Xuiye's intention.

Mo Lingtan took out his phone and dialed a number. After a few rings, the person on the other side picked up.

"What?" Yue Wanwan's annoying voice came from the other side of the phone.

The phone was on the speaker. As soon as Lee Xuiye heard Yue Wanwan, she felt guilty towards Mo Lingtan.

Mo Lingtan caught Lee Xuiye's guilty expression and deliberately said in an affectionate voice. "My girlfriend won't be able to come up today, her examination just got over, so she needs some rest. Shift your discussion to another day."

"What the hell are you talking about? Since when did I call your girlfriend for a discussion? I have already given her a two months break. Is it your new strategy to increase the duration of her break? Then let me remind you there is no chance I would let you succeed in your nifty strategy. Now don't bother me with your calls." With that Yue Wanwan hung up.

"Brother...Brother Lingtan…" Lee Xuiye wanted to explain,  however, before she could say anything, Mo Lingtan turned around and left.
