Chapter 3: Man-eater

"I guess I should be on my way then," Akio said to himself.

He started to investigate his surrounding hoping to find clues about what really happened and he eventually reached the,'Tokyo tower,' which was once a beautiful site but now a rusty rundown building.

"I alway's wanted to come here when I finally found a girlfriend," he muttered to himself,"Now I guess that will never happen."

He climbed the tower to the highest floors to get a wider view of the city. He saw nothing but an empty land filled with monster but yet the majestic view was still worth climbing up for.

He climbed back down to the middle floors and that's when he heard it...

"Stamp,Stamp,Stamp...!," A mighty sound that could be made by someone or something large. The sound got louder and louder then it finally stopped. 

His body froze up in fear but knew he had no choice but to look behind, he turned his head back and saw it, a huge Ape monster at least 6 times it's normal size.

"A Man-eater,"He said while trembling. He clenched his fist and knew he only had one choice so he drew out,'Demon destroyer,' but the sword was shaking in his hand but was ready to put up a fight. There was a sickening silence between the two opponents then the Man-eater charged straight at him with full force. He stood his grounds and blocked the attack with Demon destroyer but he very much felt the full weight and force of the attack although he was surprised at his own strength.

"Is this the power of Demon destroyer?" He thought,"but I wont last in this fighting like this. I need a plan."

They exchanged a few more Blow's without one overpowering the other."Oh that's it," he thought of a plan.

He Sprint to the edge of the floor." Come get me you overgrown gorilla,"

The beast roared with all it's might then charged at him and he dodged just in the nick of time then delivered a clean slice to it's leg's and it let out a cry of pain, it fell off the edge to it's death.

"I actually won,"he said to himself while trying to catch his breath. He then noticed Demon destroyer absorbing the blood of the Man-eater.

"So It get's stronger with the more blood it absorb's?" He wondered.

He turned to the edge to comfirm if the monster is really dead then he was pushed off the edge, "Huh?" He wondered. He faced back to see a real human girl, he would have been so much happier if he was not failing down to his own death.
