CLAWS 21 TOGETHER

Elijah made his way out of the bathroom, how wonderful it felt to take a relaxing bath after a long time. He sang aloud, moving to the beat only he could hear. 

Of all songs he went with the one that had notes he could never hit...viens popping out on his neck as he screeched out titanium by Sia this song brought out the worst in his already shrill voice. 

Simply put, it was torture to hear him sing. "I am titanium!!" he strained. Coughing he bumped into someone, Aliyah stood in front of his window from which she had crept in her hands over her ears.

"look who finally decides to stop by" Elijah stated, Aliyah had not come to see him since he woke up yesterday which was surprising due to the what he heard she went through after he was out. 

Keshia had filled him in telling him Aliyah spent most of her nights by his side against his mother's wish and had even given her blood to save him. Her blood in him only strengthened the bond. 

"I know I did not come earlier it was because I did not know how to face you and besides your mum hates my guts for causing your accident, I had to come in through the window like a thief in the night"

She averted her gaze " I just wanted to say sorry..." she blurted out rapidly, 

Elijah watched her intensely she had lost weight, looking like a shadow of her former self.

Her eyes which used to have so much life in them lost its spark.  He pulled her close engulfing her in his warmth. 

She instantly melted into him hanging on like her life depended on it, "I'm sorry for all you had to go through, I really did want to wake up but my damned body refused to obey, I'm so sorry I couldn't save your father"

she hugged him tighter, for once she felt like she could actually survive this. "Elijah,"

"huh?' he responed 

"singing is not your thing "

he burst out laughing releasing his hold on her "is that what you have to say at a time like this?"

Aliyah smiled "yes, I thought it was very important to let you know. We would not want to be responsible for the death of the pack members now would we?" she moved to his bed laying on her back, hands behind her head. 

"and put on a shirt who goes around like that especially when a  lady is present" 

"look who is talking, you forget you have a history ...remember when we ..." he puffed out his lips making kissing sounds, she turned away her cheeks turning pink.

"and besides," he continued as he made his way towards her "it's my room I can do what I like...especially now no one is in" with that, he jumped on her, sounds of her squeals drifted into the night.
