His thin physique and resolute countenance was projected onto a large screen by a camera hidden in a sand dune.

"Salute." The commanding officer's strict voice resonated throughout the entire underground base.

Everyone stopped what they were doing, and saluted towards the silhouette on the screen.

After ten seconds, Long Lin lowered his hand, looked towards the boundless desert, and left.

An Ying[1], China's most mysterious, most aggressive special forces unit.

Living in darkness, moving like shadows. Secretive, and yet having a hand in everything. They made uncountable war contributions to the country, hence, they became the number one unit, as well as attained the title An Ying.

Leave the desert on foot. This was a tradition in An Ying. And it was also because of this, that not a single person had discovered its underground base in the fifty years it's been around.

The sun was blazing, and the earth was scorched.It was midday in june. In the middle of the Taklamakan desert. The weather

was so hot that even camels would suffer heatstroke.

Long Lin, carrying a simple backpack and looking like a lost pedestrian, was heading forward through the vast desert at a good pace.

Unexpectedly, there was a woman collapsed under the scorching sun a kilometre ahead.

This was deep in the Taklamakan desert, where even the shadows of birds couldn't be seen. Why would there be an unconscious woman?

At the moment, the temperature of the ground was over 50 degrees celsius. If a human fainted on it, they'd be absolutely dead within an hour at most.

Long Lin walked over in large strides and turned over the woman lying on the ground. It was then that he noticed that the woman didn't collapse solely because of dehydration.

She was shot!

If not for the horrifying bloodstains on her chest, the woman would've even suspected that she had been hallucinating. In disbelief, the woman held up her voluptuous left breast, and used her left hand to gently wipe away the dried blood, allowing her to see where the wound once was.

And once more gazed at Long Lin, who had not moved an inch. The woman picked up the bra which was soaked in blood, but after pondering for a moment, the women put it back down. After all, because it was soaked in blood, the black lace bra became incomparably rigid. Instead, she simply covered herself up with the shirt and carefully buttoned it.

After wearing the shirt, the woman meticulously sorted out her messy hair, then softly said, "I'm done. You can turn around."
