In the Town of Catorn.

A boy can be seen running on the streets. He was almost at the height of 160cm and an above-average face with brown hair, but what stood out was his eyes that were the same colour as blood. While he was running, he bumped into someone. "What the heck.." The man who had fallen to ground shouted. "I am sorry about that." He said and continued running with a tense face.

While he was running, he bumped into many more people, but he just kept running. "Shit, I got to reach there as soon as possible, or they will reach there before me." The boy thought with a horrified face.

"If only, I had never taken that test or hell even met her, it would have never happened." The boy thought with regret. "S**t, only if I can change my past." The boy shouted. The people around the streets looked at him with strange, but the boy just ignored them and kept running.

A Few Hours Ago.

"Karol, wake up." A woman voice was heard from the Kitchen of the house. "Mom, Let me sleep a little longer," Karol said and continued his sleeping. "This boy *sigh*, you haven't forgotten about the bloodline testing, right?" The woman shouted with an amused face.

The boy suddenly jumped out of his bed and thought "Oh, Shit! I am going to be late for that." Then he looked at the time and sighed as he realized there was still time for that. "If you have woken up then go fresh up as food will be ready soon." The woman shouted.

"Okay, then," Karol shouted and walked towards the bathroom. "Finally, the day has come." Karol thought with an excited face thinking about the bloodline testing that was going to be happening today.

Bloodline testing is an event that happened every year, along with the annual village celebration. Bloodline testing is significant for a 14-year boy like Karol as it opens the limit of the body to become an absorber.

In this world, People who have gone through that testing can gain the ability to absorb the strange energy present in the environment to strengthen their body or mind to gain incredible strength or mystical skills.

"But what type of absorber should I become." Karol thought while he was brushing his teeth. "Well, why not both as I can become stronger than the rest to earn more money." Karol thought while dreaming of the money he was going to gain.

The Absorbers are branch out into two parts that are Body type absorber; the people who strengthen just their body are called this. Those who strengthen their body gain fantastic strength, speed or reflex that a normal human being can ever hope to achieve in their lifetime.

The other type is Mind type absorber; the people who strengthen just their mind instead of the body are called this. Those who strengthen their mind does not get incredible strength or anything but the power to manipulate mana to change it into any element they want.

And those who strengthen both of them are called dual-type absorber, but many people do not choose this path as strengthening both at the same time can slow down their progress against their peers.

After washing up, Karol walked towards the Kitchen to eat food. Entering the Kitchen he saw a woman in her early thirties, with brown hair and beautiful face with blue eyes putting food on the table. "Mom, what have you make?" Karol asked, entering the room.

"Oh! You are finally here, and I have made your favourite chicken sandwich for your special day. Hearing that Karol cheered as he was delighted to hear that and sat down on the chair to eat food. "Sorry, Karol as I won't be able to go with you to the Town Hall." Karen suddenly said with a sad face.

Karol was surprised to hear that and asked, "But why is that?". "I am preparing a special dinner for today's occasion," Karen said with a smile. Hearing that Karol was happy but also sad as he won't be with his mom at the special time. "Don't worry, mom as I am grown adult now," Karol said with a smile. Hearing that Karen just laughed.

"So, are you all ready for today's occasion." Karen then asked to change topics. "Yeah, and I am sure that I get at least level 7 bloodline and become so strong that I can earn money whenever I want," Karol said with excitement.

In the test, a person has his bloodline level discovered. A person can have a bloodline of between 1 to 10, with one being the weakest and ten being strongest and a level 7 bloodline is above average one.

The bloodline level plays a vital role in strengthening your body as it acts as a purifier to purified mana so it can strengthen our body. A level one bloodline can only refine 5% of mana with 5% purify rate increasing with each level.

"Kid, it not always about money as happiness is more important," Karen said in a scolding tone. "Okay, Mom," Karol told without any seriousness as he was used to hearing that. "You never going to change, huh?" Karen said while shaking her head. "Yes, as money is very important and I should be going now," Karol said before she can reply and ran out of the room.

"He really is like his father stubborn about everything." Karen thought with a smile, but suddenly a tear falls from her eyes. "Ah, that's not a time to be sad." Karen thought and started to collect the dishes from the table.

"Ah, am I forgetting something." Karol thought while he was running towards the street. "Oh s**t, I almost forgot about Ellie, I got to get there fast, or she will kill me." Karol thought and turned around to run in a different direction.
