In some sense, the city itself was also a Godly Item on its own. These angels were shocked because Dohyuk was allowed to own the city in the first place, and this was their first time witnessing such a thing after the countless trials they had held.

It wasn't only Aruga. This was the earliest stage of the trial. That's why only Aruga's city had been implemented. As time passed by, more cities and landscapes from different worlds would appear. Of course, it worked well for those gods too since they had the chance to gain new followers, and there were no cases where the gods were at a disadvantage.

The angels then became silent. Whatever order those three angels were hearing was going to be their job soon.

He needed other ways than just fighting with his brute strength to survive, just like what he did with the city.

He checked on the faith that was slowly creeping up.

Dohyuk knew there was more than just the 'faith rating' from Casita when he first created the city. He had the 'skill' to utilize 'faith', He needed to know how to use the currency that he received. Dohyuk lacked both attributes, and he turned to the people. The catapult was shining, but it wasn't being launched.
'It has to recharge.'
Dohyuk then turned.
"I'm ready."
Heeyun was already next to him. She had been out of the city using another exit as Dohyuk drew attention from above the city wall. As the light from catapult became intense, Dohyuk ran.

"FIRE!"
The catapult was fired. It wasn't fully charged, but it was enough to fire what it had. The catapult at medium power was probably enough to injure Dohyuk. Without knowing where it was aimed at, the ray of light was impossible to dodge. However, Dohyuk wasn't alone.
Heeyun was being carried by Dohyuk, and her arms were wrapped around Dohyuk. When the ray of light was about to strike them, Heeyun activated her Nature.
The huge ray disappeared and was absorbed by Heeyun at once.
"W-What was that?!"
"That's impossible!!"
"He's not hurt… after getting hit by that!"
After Dohyuk digested the whole city in front of them, no one believed that the attack was consumed by some girl. To them, Dohyuk was running with the girl in his arms, AND at the same time, he was successfully absorbing the attack.
"The catapult doesn't work!"
"Can we even beat him?!"
Fear began to grip the people and some began running away.
"HEY!" Sukwon and other leaders tried to regain control, but it was too late. Dohyuk was now only 30 meters away from the people.
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be."
Heeyun smiled at Dohyuk's apology and Dohyuk threw Heeyun up high. She then received all those rays of light that were fired again and focused.
'Think of a cushion… cushion…!'
She had enough mana. All she needed to do was to imagine a barrier to allow her to land safely onto the ground. While she was doing that, Dohyuk focused his strength on his leg and jumped.
With just one jump, Dohyuk closed the distance of 30 meters. Everyone panicked, but one man ran up. The tall man had a huge shield that was as tall as him. His name was Park Chansub, one of the five leaders on the team. He was trying to defend against Dohyuk's attack with his shield and set up a counterattack.
"COME-!!!" Chansub yelled.

It was a good item. It had a good defense rating and if the attack wasn't strong enough to kill the user, it reflected half the damage back at the attacker.
'If I can defend Yoo Dohyuk just once with this…!'
This would surely bring courage back to the people. But Dohyuk thought, 'How strong would he be?'
'Or how strong is that shield?' Dohyuk did not know, so he feared it. Either way, he had no choice but to strike.

His feet hit the shield, and Dohyuk landed. From behind, Chansub, along with his shield, was sliced horizontally into two.

People panicked instantly.

"T..this is crazy!"
"I-I knew we can't defeat the Great Emperor…!"
Something began popping up from the ground; it was a stone made out of various colors of light. It was Heeyun who was putting her energy into the ground to attack. It was a wide-ranged attack that did no critical damage. But it was enough to work as crowd control.
"DAAMMMMMITTT!!!"
"RUN!!!"
People panicked and ran off in all directions. Sukwon's voice did not work anymore. The fear-stricken people could not listen to anything.
"Dammit. KILL HIM!"
Sukwon and the leaders shouted, and some of the elite members came to fight Dohyuk. As Dohyuk sliced one easily and took care of the other two, he felt pain in his waist. He couldn't move.
"I…I did it!"
The man had a spear in his hand.
"I DID IT! I DID IT!"
[Poisoned Blade]
It was the man's Nature. Whoever the man cut with a blade would be paralyzed instantly until the blade was taken out. The man then took out a dagger.
"I-I'm not the strongest!"
He stabbed toward Dohyuk's neck, but it was blocked.
Dohyuk's hand grabbed the dagger.
"H-How…"
"…"

"Digest."
Dohyuk digested the dagger to heal his palm. Dohyuk did not know how to use the 'faith', but he knew one way to use it, and that was the symbol of his godliness.

The spear then disappeared, healing all of Dohyuk's wounds that had racked up until now. When Dohyuk kicked the man away, he felt another pain coming from his thigh.

More projectiles then penetrated Dohyuk. A total of 10 of them pierced his legs, but that was it. His 'Stamina' didn't allow harpoon to deeply penetrate his body. It hindered his movement a little, but it was easy to just digest it all.
"Those fools were to buy time anyway!" Sukwon shouted, "You're done for, you bastard!"
He was pulling on the harpoon.
"The light absorption. It's not from you, is it?"

Dohyun then realized that Aruga's avatar was behind Sukwon. With Bermurans that joined the team, Aruga created the avatar. However, it was much smaller than what he fought in Katla. It was small enough to disappear after blasting off a few of rays of light.

Dohyuk quickly began digesting all the harpoons. The harpoons weren't fired to injure him. This was the studied method to fight against the Great Emperor, as he needed one hand on each piece of equipment to digest it. It was enough to buy time.
"Digest!"
His leg began to move again, but Dohyuk knew that Aruga's was decreasing in size as it was focusing all the energy in one shot to blast Dohyuk.
'I won't be able to dodge that.'
Dohyuk then looked up. As he moved, he felt something.

He didn't know why, but just like when he created the city after receiving the power from Casita, Aruga's body disappeared and the sun shined brightly. Dohyuk's leg was also freed. He could have dodged, but he jumped against the incoming light ray.
