It was a very peculiar experience.
The people in this region all had their own share of peculiar experiences. The world had turned and they lived life with their entire civilization and moral standards flipped upside down. They then died and came back to life for another chance. But even to them, this was unheard of.

Everyone stopped in their tracks, however not everyone acted the same way. Some just stood still, dumbfounded, with their hand on their chest, while some looked around frantically.
However, they all experienced the same thing. The fear had disappeared. The fear that struck them, or the fear of the Tyrant, was gone. And the feeling that replaced it was one that they knew very well.
Why would they not? Even if a person had no love for himself, there was once in a lifetime when a person would clench their fist and become determined, to never be broken. To never give up.

The light shone, and just like that, Ilgyu lost his weapon. However, he couldn't just stand still and wait. He tried to swing his right hand that was holding the Kerubac Sword.
